There is black castor oil(the seeds are roasted) and its dark, then there is cold pressed organic castor oil, not as dark, there is a difference. The only castor oil intended for internal use are steam treated, so be aware of that also.

I'm learning more about Jamaican black castor oil. I just bought some Jamaican black castor oil and it looks like the one on the left. It's light brown/clear. Now I'm finding out it's supposed to be dark. I only lost $6.00. Thank you for posting this
Back in Jamaica my grandma use to make castor oil and it was dark and thick. That's the authentic castor oil!

So, I bought this product about a month 1/2 ago and I wanted to wait a while to give a review. First, this oil has been a saving grace definitely legit. My hair is locing and the oil is really helping thicken and strengthen my hair. A little does go a long way. The ONE negative thing about this oil is that it does smell really bad. I usually add peppermint oil to kinda help with that, but it's really strong. Like if you do not like the smell of wild hair growth oil then this might bother you. It still shouldn't detour you from purchasing but just a forewarning! Amazing product I will definitely be buying more

Wow! I just got my products yesterday (October 21, 2022) and I threw away all the other stuff in my closet and I’m struggling trying to hold on to a few but it’s going out too. I got the avocado trio, protein treatment, neim oil, and the edge control. I had to wash my hair again because I didn’t read the website that says leave the cowash in for 20 minutes and afterwards I used the leave in and then the hair/body butter! My hair is so soft and it looks like it blew out lol so I twisted it small because I like my curls! I have no chemicals! I got some other products too but I wanted to say something about the trio and the protein treatment. Yes I’ve purchased that fake oil off Amazon I’ll spare the brand name because they’re popular and I’m telling you it says it’s Jamaican Black coconut castor oil and it not thick and I think it’s diluted with the coconut oil! As a matter of fact I need to cancel that subscribe and save lol

A lot “ online businesses” are scamming ppl something serious.. Some are grinding up/using liquid based “Miracle Grow” and other plant food & putting it in hair growth/eyelash products. That crap is known to cause cancer. Some are hustling everyday cooking oil as hair growth oil or facial serums and etc. Thats what I was talking about!

The only difference is the roasting of the nuts. Some people don’t roast them long enough or some just put a brown dye in the oil. Now don’t come on here spreading false scientific information. Boy bye it’s still Castor oil
