I try to keep 10,000 per day per head basis and that works. (All documentation I do by myself)
Where do you have to show 1 lakh or more? In your savings account? I mean daily account that we use? I am living in Belgium past many years...thus I dont need any visas . But in case if I have to invite my brother to visit, would like to know about it. Thanks

Few suggestions:- 1) avoid applying France until you are married 2) book full refunable tickets 3) show itinerary in one country only (after visa you can change) 4) show a tight bond with India in covering letter itself like property documents or good job or marriage certificate etc.

I am actually contemplating about a change of destination since a lot of articles over the internet boasts lately about the non availabilty of appointment dates specifically for the Schengen short stay Visa , post the 1st of July until furthur notice as quite a lot of applications (20,000 to be precise) are pouring in each day at the embassy which is making it quite tedious for them to process.Also there is an uncertainty in procuring the visa before your estimated date of departure since as we are running the risk of losing money over confirmed flight and hotel bookings for the visa.

I travelled by car, with Belgian friends ( I am Indian living in Belgium) through Slovenia to Croatia few years back. Only at Slovenia, Austria border they checked my passport.

do you need airline tickets of all the places that you are visiting or just the in and out flight tickets to schengen are. example - I am going to norway in march and then netherlands and then spain and back to india so do I need to show flight tickets for norway to netherlands and netherlands to spain as well? or just india to norway and spain to india
Just in and out should be enough but if you have the domestic flights booked too, you can always include that as well but they just want to see when you’re leaving the Schengen region and that you have tickets

For Schengen visa they dont ask anything. They are VFS staffs who collects all the documents. That's it.

You need to fill the country visa application before booking for an appointment. VFS will ask for the application number.

do you need airline tickets of all the places that you are visiting or just the in and out flight tickets to schengen are.
example -
I am going to norway in march and then netherlands and then spain and back to india
so do I need to show flight tickets for norway to netherlands and netherlands to spain as well?
or just india to norway and spain to india
Just in and out should be enough but if you have the domestic flights booked too, you can always include that as well but they just want to see when you’re leaving the Schengen region and that you have tickets

Hye! Your video is very useful. I have applied for a single entry visa from Greek embassy. Can I go to Poland from Greece and then again come back to Greece and finally come back to India with single entry visa? Or do I need to apply multiple entry visa for that?

For the first trip, I understand I need to enter Germany first. What about the next trip say in the year end? If I wish to travel to Netherlands, do I need to first visit Germany and then board a train/flight to Netherlands or can I travel straight to Netherlands?
