Yes, I also took the assistance of Mr. Amit. He tried his best to help me out for applying Schengen visa on fresh passport for switzerland but unfortunately my visa application had been rejected last year in the month of November due to common objection. they had not mentioned any major shortcoming in my application, i could not understand as to how i found such shortcomings and rectify them. there were all the required docs. with sufficient funds in my bank account along with Govt. licence of proprietorship firm and current bank account statement of the same despite i got rejection.
Recently visited Europe on a short trip, a few points; 1. Why to share an old expired passport, i just sent a fresh passport and the Visa was granted. Although I have valid US visa on my expired passport. 2. I didn't submit any cover letter, nor was it mentioned in the Denmark embassy checklist. 3. Insurance should cover COVID treatment in case required (specifically mentioned in checklist) 4. Passport photo copy not requested by VFS, although good to carry. The rest of the points are very much valid.
i agree with you for some extent. same thing happened with me when i produced docs. in Switzerland vfs they suggested me if you have no stamp on your old passport then you need not produce them with your application.

Nice video! It's a relief I didn't see it before applying for my Schengen visa. Because I kept it bare simple and got an 11-month, 25-day visa, matching my passport expiry. Reapplying in June since my Schengen expires in May 2024.

Me and my husband used the same format and in the body of the cover letter, I mentioned my husband's name name as I forgot to update it as mine. Hi Amit. What if one of the parent of a minor does not have valid/non expired passport ? Can only one parent attach the passport or the sponsor who is not the parent can, only there passport can also work ?

Hi, me and my husband applied for schengen visa to Hungary consulate. There is a mistake in my cover letter. Me and my husband used the same format and in the body of the cover letter, I mentioned my husband's name name as I forgot to update it as mine. I noticed it 3 days after submitting the application and docs. Is there anything that I can do now ? 0:01

Hello Bro, I am in same situation as yours. My honeymoon is planned from 8th Dec to 17th December. Me and my fiancé are from Ranchi and Jamshedpur and we are applying from VFS Kolkata.
Italy is taking a lot of time in issuing visa and don’t have any new slots available. So I am applying into Swiss Embassy and have included Switzerland in my travel.
Have the appointment on 27th Oct. let’s see how it goes

I had a question that I wanted some clarity on, I current have 2 business one which is a proprietorship and another family HUF Business for which I am the karta. Is it possible for me to show my HUF (Hindu Undivided Family) registration and bank statements during the Visa application process or do you think it's better to leave it out since there is no concept of HUF outside India and it might confuse the embassy?

Thanks for your well made video. I am in process of collecting documents for Swiss/Schengen visa. I have hotel booking, flight tickets. But not done inter-country train ticketing as most of them are online non-refunsable tickets. Don't want to have eurail pass. We are 4 people. We may go for bus or even cab/car hire if it is convenient. Does the Swiss embassy accept such forms or rejects them?
