The bait rig I'm using: 2:24
I was nightcrawler fishing from shore at a lake in New York during spring (late April, 2014). I was fishing with nightcrawlers and worms on 3-way slip sinker bait rigs each with a fluorocarbon leader going to an aberdeen or baitholder hook and a breakaway mono leader going to a weight, and I was targeting big yellow perch and other big panfish. I didn't manage to find the 15"+ trophy yellow perch I was looking for, but I got within an inch twice in this video with two master angler perch over 14". I ended up catching some jumbo perch, big brown bullhead, and walleye before leaving.
