+theprowler18 Well yeah, I think that was the idea. It's also why they decided to pair BoJack with someone who just came out of a coma, because the only person who BoJack could possibly feel comfortable around is someone who is totally unaware of what's been going on for the past few decades. Since most of the dates he goes on are with women who are merely attracted to his fame, he appreciates a relationship with a woman who loves him for him, not just the novelty of dating someone famous. That makes it all the more tragic when his depression causes the relationship to crumble, and it turns out that even Wanda, who seemed perfect at first, isn't able to handle BoJack's negativity and bitterness.
I love that after playing up how naive and uncomplicated Wanda is you find out she's easily as ruthless and cold blooded as anyone else in network TV. After worrying about how Bojack could potentially ruin her you realize that Wanda is exactly the worst possible person someone in Bojack's emotional state should be around.
Yeah. Like that line about red flags was quotable but she never struck me as someone who wanted to improve or expand her knowledge, she just seemed to be all "I'm mentally stuck in the 80s but I don't bother even progressing past a year" and the bit about Hank Hippopolis? As Tv Tropes says: "She does try to understand and can have serious discussions about important personal issues but rather than digging deeper, she'd prefer if everyone would settle into accepting an unmoving reality rather than acting for a change, especially when doing so could be problematic." Like she'd prefer the status quo even if status quo is hurting.
Indeed, which is exemplified in her final scene where she immediately cuts Bojack out of her life the moment she realizes what a toxic and negative person he is, which really showcases her kind yet ruthless and pragmatic personality. Wanda knows she deserves better and doesn’t hesitate to do something about it no matter how much it hurts her in the short run to do so, and time and time again we see what happens in the long run to people who choose to stay close to Bojack.

I like this relationship. Pretty relatable when you realize your old identity was fake and broken. You change as a person and want to be better but you're still trying to figure yourself out. Someone else is trying to figure themselves out too but you bond over that idea (I think this is why Wanda is an owl too, symbolic in other reasons but in this case to Bojack, he likes hooters/the IDEA of a relationship\woman ) he saw everything he liked, but then wanted proof. He should have looked in himself to see if it was what HE wanted or really valued, but because he still didn't know who he really was, he couldn't find the answer in himself and wanted someone else to tell him (yes this is what you need ) because Bojack finds value in himself through other people because he can't find it through himself.

"When you look at somoene through rose colored glasses, all the red flags just look like flags"
Wanda is adorable.
Oh I just noticed something! From this episode they were sort of hinting Hank Hippopopalous later relevance in the season. Showing him in the dancing board Wanda showed and the flat tv she pointed at
"is that name supposed to mean something to me?"
(instantly falls in love)
“I don’t even need a pilot, let’s order 22”, “make the World Trade Center disappear”
time to watch bojack for the 9th time
I miss Wanda qwq
I wish I could forget the last 30 years happened.
"oh, its not like i have green hair and she works with me"
Cosmo-
I liked Wanda! I’m happy she left Bojack though haha. She deserves so much better
You think she could’ve been happy with Bojack S6?
She needed more screen time.
"what are you doing here" right off the bat
Of course pinky struggles to skate in the background 😂
I hope Wanda will be back for the final.
Me too
Well, she was in the final episode. Kind of. Sort of. A little.
Maksie0 howw?!
@@chinkubai it said in a magazine that she woke up from a second coma and something else i don't remember right now
the voice that Patton does for Pinky cracks me up
0:45-0:50 the best 9/11 joke ever
I loved Wanda at the first time of her introducing, I was so sorry for the break up with Bojack becouse she wasn’t in the stronge conditions of arounde him like Princess Caroline, but luckly she go forward in her life and her job and maybe the just one it’ll arrive in the end.
Bye guys, see you soon😸.
1:17 "The Girl of My Dreams" ❤
That’s Buddy’s voice from April - August 2001 0:01
Cant believe wanda was voiced by Phoebe
Wanda
I really wish the song was real it’s so good. This one and “I just met my perfect match” ugh😭
Ah perfect timing UA-cam recommendation right on 9/11
What is the song that goes “oh special feelings”
That was the most respectful 9/11 joke I’ve ever witnessed
The only reason they didn't have a Bad Ending is bc she didn't know who he was so he wasn't able to leverage his power over her
Me after years of thinking that voice sounded familiar: *snaps fingers at screen* LISA FU¢
Pheobe!
She fell in to second coma btw
Fun fact: Wanda is voiced by Lisa Kudrow aka Phoebe from Friends
God I didn’t know that was phoebe til she said “you’re funny” lol that’s so phoebe
So I'm back after a while and, she just woke up from a 30 year old coma and has perfect body strength and coordination? How?!
Wanda's voice actor is Lisa kudrow from the friends
Wanda was my favorite character I love Lisa Kudrow
