His independence is so strong that we should celebrate Thomas Lang Day on July 4th...
To the top!
Agreed! The man is an octopus 🐙
Ahahahahah Ahahahahah
I don’t think cosmic likes your comment Marval... how puerile
Nobody has ever been better at his/her art than Thomas Lang is at his. There is like several dimensions of a gap between him and "the rest"
I don't think there is a drummer more skilled than Lang.
His playing skills are just unbelievable. Not fair!
I actually think this is his best solo. He sounds much more musical here than in his other solos. I really hope he continues in this more groove-oriented direction. He sounds great here.
I agree, that's why Steve gadd solos are more enjoyable than other monsters like weckl and vinnie
he can sit down on any kit, any time and his playing is always beyond awesome, just wow!
michaelmdrummer I would like to hear him play a bucket drumkit😜
23-33 is an incredible groove with that left foot hi hat work! Love this guy!
the up hit of the China @ 2:00 tripped me out
vgaboy Buddy Rich did that a lot, upswing on the cymbals
Master full as ever
There's not much on the Drum's 2 work with, but this is Great, i Like this, that's what make's Thomas Lang Good & Great, there is not much there, 2 work with, & he make's it sound, so Great, as a Legend, that he is.Just Like a Real Time Drum Machine, but only in 1,000% Real Life.
Thats drum solo literally just spoke to me
He has so much style. You really can see the outcome of his music studies at vienna music conservatory.
🤯 wow! That's all I ever say when I hear Thomas play, what a pleasure...this man is a legend. I also love how he shares his knowledge 😊👍👏
4 piece!!! Incredible👍🏽
Thomas lang is the druminator
A brain in every arm and every leg !
So much technique and groove at the same time great
THE BEST EVER PERIOD. So why is he boring to watch?
hell yes my bro!!!that left foot is amazing👍
cazz dorak left foot? all his frickin limbs are amazing!
true true.....very true!!
Guy has more talent in his two feet than I could ever dream of having with 8 limbs...
The drum sound great !
Best solo from Thomas lang imo
PROSPER DRUMS much more Groovy than his old ones. The old ones always sounded the same to me with his fills alternating between toms and double bass...
Exactly
I literally just posted exactly what you guys said.
I could not agree more. He sounds so much more musical here.
Crazy crazy skills!
thats awesome!
Amazing !
Eu acho que o Thomas Lang não deste planeta. 😆😆😆😆
Awesome!
Easily, one of the best drummers in the world.
Bravissimo!!!
The GOAT
2:37 so sick 8)
Amazing Drumer. What is the mame of the stuf on the left foot?
Lang secret? WORKS
what a nice smaller drumset that is. very very beautyfull
Fuckin bonkers, dude
This man has got 8 arms and 4 legs, and is powered by an atomic clock. I'm no drummer but I can hear some ridiculously complex time signatures going in there,
Бесподобно
The name ‘LANG’ is a brand mark from now on.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🖒👏🇧🇷
Most of the comments are about his technique... there is no Music here! always he changes th e groove like a mind which jumps from one subject to the other without any point.
Well, you just discovered what a drum solo is. Congratulations.
Why can he play all that stuff with his left foot? I'm confused.. Lol
he sounds like 3 guys playing at once, jesus christ..
He had a separate brain for each of his limbs.....im dead
Did this Guy, like, practice 25 hours a day or something?
Amazing technique and technical ability. However it dosent do anything for me.
No feeling or groove in my opinion anyway.
sounds like crap when he plays a simple eighth note groove or shuffle, this dude only sounds good when playing super fast and complicated rhythms, just my opinion
Funkslave yeah your opinion is just shit. Thomas played drums on over 400 albums. I'm so sick of all you trashtalkers that don't have any idea and talk like they where the greatest drummers of all time. Shup up and go practice
