Please express to this young woman how beautiful her voice is. In the last 48 hours since listening to this version of Rattlin' Bog, I have heard several others, and none of them compare to how much joy her voice gave me. Congrats to the happily married couple! ^-^
luvlychibi I'm in total agreement with you her voice is beautiful however I'm sick of this video being on my recommended video feed it just won't go away
I have yet to find one. I loved this version so much, I went as far as to edit it (to the best of my ability) to cut the repeats and correct the mistakes in between lol it trimmed off about a minute of audio LOL
As radiant as the bride is on her special day,the woman singing is amazing...somehow she looks like the kindest person on the planet to me for some reason, dunno why.
I’m Irish and I’m usually too drunk to stand at the end of a wedding. How they were able sing so well means this was a dry wedding or they’re raging alcoholics who can hold their drink extremely well. Being that this was an Irish wedding, I’m going with option # 2.
Aye, i played my bódhran at many a funeral. The idea is to give the deceased a good send-off to heaven, so as long as there is singing and drinking going on the devil won't know that he is dead. The better the send off, the better the dead man's chances for heaven are. It is cheating but it works, we think. A good funeral can go on for several days.
The joy that these two women exude is simply contagious. No matter how many times I watch this, I have always been in awe of how beautiful this video is. There is something so incredibly gorgeous about a family sitting together and singing and having such a pure and loving time with each other. Not to mention the talent is crazy!!
I love the happiness in this video. Also that Auntie looks like 'hey, I really need to go home and sleep' and then she wakes up. It so captures the 5AM wedding vibe.

Why the fuk you dislike this??? I’m from slovenia and I’ve heard this song for the first time here on yt and i absolutely love it!!! Let’s go ho ro...!!!
God Irish girls are my weakness. They're just so beautiful like honestly. They have the voice of Angels. I have a lot of irish, even though I'm a Midwestern boy. A lot of love to my second home, Ireland! Especially to the angels over there! ❤️
A woman with an Irish accent singing, seems like it must be every man’s weakness.
Absolutely
You are not wrong, truer words have never been spoken
It's true
aye m8, urso rite :)
She's got my heart.
So it's official: when angels sing, they're Irish
Was there any doubt? ;)
Don't forget Kate and Cindy of the B-52s.
I've never met an Irish girl that can't sing like this.
The blonde singer is sooo beautiful and have a gorgeous voice 😍
😂
Please express to this young woman how beautiful her voice is. In the last 48 hours since listening to this version of Rattlin' Bog, I have heard several others, and none of them compare to how much joy her voice gave me. Congrats to the happily married couple! ^-^
If you happen to find a Version that can compete with this one, would you please tell me? I haven't found one either.
luvlychibi I'm in total agreement with you her voice is beautiful however I'm sick of this video being on my recommended video feed it just won't go away
The same for me... She's the best version of all UA-cam :)
luvlychibi she has such a beautiful voice
I have yet to find one. I loved this version so much, I went as far as to edit it (to the best of my ability) to cut the repeats and correct the mistakes in between lol it trimmed off about a minute of audio LOL
How many others fell in love whilst watching this?
Aye...yesterday,the minute I saw this in 'The Irish Post'❤
Seems like every man in the room did as well ^^
Too bad the shrieking banshee of a bride couldn't let the other girl be the center of attention.
Seems like the groom already had
@@Wildo83
They're two sisters and a brother. They've been singing it together all their lives.
As radiant as the bride is on her special day,the woman singing is amazing...somehow she looks like the kindest person on the planet to me for some reason, dunno why.
its not just her singing her sister and brother are definite contributers
HybridChoky It's BC she gorgeous and a lovely voice she's amazing 😍😇.
They sing semi professional in Ireland. They are great.
Could be she’s Irish. Maybe kindness stems from the Irish?
I’m Irish and I’m usually too drunk to stand at the end of a wedding. How they were able sing so well means this was a dry wedding or they’re raging alcoholics who can hold their drink extremely well. Being that this was an Irish wedding, I’m going with option # 2.
Hey there is "beer" on the table, so definetly option #2
Most of them are red-faced and SERIOUSLY drunk :)
Thought all Irish were raging alcoholic sand can handle the sesh.
The whole world is now in love with Clodagh McCarthy. I know I am. Best voice I've ever heard.
ya but thats not her name Patrice O’Connor and Donagh Davern
Afraid not, Clodagh McCarthy is the adorable blonde. I know now why God created Ireland
Zero Fail.45 God thought the world needed some bright, cheerful people and the Irish fit the bill.
"An Irish funeral is more fun than a British wedding."
Yessss💥🇮🇪
no doubts :)
Agree, I have been to lots of both events. This is a universal truth, especially in the West of Ireland.
Ian Canavan it is trust me
There are no words to describe how much I love this!
Raina713 same
Amazing
Only the irish would do this. 5:30am
The bride and the woman have beautiful voices
I can’t get this out of my head and can’t stop watching. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
Brent Coley great voice has she got a like to follow
Agree!
I can’t get her out of my head. She is deathly attractive.
I can't stop watching it. Lol something about it
You've got ME for listening company.😊
The joy that these two women exude is simply contagious.
Because of this video I've been teaching "The Rattlin' Bog" in my English lessons since this morning. :-)
(I'm a German Primary School teacher.)
Thank you so much for this beautiful and joyful rendition of this song!
Cheers to the bride and groom.
Btw: If Clodagh released an album it would be an insta-buy for me.
How do you teach The Rattlin' Bog in German to primary school kids?
Sebastan Ghiurca Is that a real question or is it rhetorical?
I've been teaching The Rattling Bog for a week now in class 3 and 4.
My first lesson looked like this:
Silent stimulus: video of the Merry Wives of Windsor (The Rattlin' Bog with movements)
p. comment on the video (cross comprehension)
watch the video again (some pupils already copied the movements and some even sang along)
p. comment on what they understood (detailed understanding)
draw a picture on the blackboard: valley, bog, tree, limb, branch, twig
explain/show the difference between limb, branch and twig if you want (class 3/4)
if you want you can bring in realia (like an egg, a fluffy bird, a feather, something that looks like a flea, a tiny hat and so on - I would recommend that for class 1 and 2 - they need to see and feel what they learn)
show them how you build up the song - from big to small and back again (hat on the flea, flea on the feather, feather on the bird, bird in/on the the nest (how you prefer it) ...)
p. will be very pleased if you do it as quickly as you can (but you should repeat it slowly as well)
practice the refrain/chorus (very slowly) using movements
let groups of pupils sing the chorus: only the girls / only the boys / only pupils with blonde hair/ pupils with blue shirts and so on
now you can perform the whole song (teacher as role model) but do it slowly and with all of the movement so the pupils can copy what you do
you can ask some pupils if the like to help you
repeat the song with some pupils
very important: give positive feedback/encouragment
That's it (more or less). After one lesson they should be able to sing the chorus and understand how the song is build up (from big to small and back again during each chorus).
My 3rd graders are doing very well. Some of them are as fast as some native speakers. I'm suprised over and over again how fast children can learn.
Hope I could help.
Have fun with the Rattling Bog! :-)
Where do you come from?
Sebastian Ghiurca Did you think I taught the song in german? No, I taught the song in english, of course. That's why I wrote "in my English lessons".
I love you so much I love the girl with the White here i don't no how to spell here
Alistair McKinley I sure hope she does do an album I will want one myself 👍
Thanks to UA-cam this absolute beautiful moment can be seen by tens of thousands all around the world
These three REALLY should have their own You Tube channel, and do traditional Irish songs :)
They do. Search for “Ratlin Bog Sisters”.
I love her voice so much!
The bride has an excellent voice, as well. The groom also sings quite well. Of course, the woman leading the song has an outstanding voice!
I love Patrice's (bride) voice during the choruses. Clodagh's voice is just insane.
Fred Currier- Are they your friends?
Not really. I just fell in love after seeing the video. LOL. Clodagh has accepted my FB friend request. I can't remember if Patrice has or not.
Actually she's sitting on her brothers lap he's not the groom. All the siblings have amazing voices!
their names are Patrice O’Connor and Donagh Davern
This video makes me happier than any video ought be able to.
It is alleged that this was performed at 5 am after a wedding.
I have never heard such lovely singing at 5 am any morning with out a lot of slurred words and coughing.
This song was a staple in many of the clubs I used to visit in my yoof. It's a lovely blast from the past.
I can play the table top for this one! LOL!
I have watched this about 15 times in the last few hours I’m hooked
michael beacham I almost got it down
That badass al tejeda

What a wonderful finale to another great Irish wedding! Clodagh is not only musically talented, but has a great natural persona as well as looking gorgeous. There must be a queue of young men from Tipperary eager to take her to dinner! Sláinte and thank you.

God Irish girls are my weakness. They're just so beautiful like honestly. They have the voice of Angels. I have a lot of irish, even though I'm a Midwestern boy. A lot of love to my second home, Ireland! Especially to the angels over there! ❤️
Best version because of her voice
