... i was soldier and student in NATO School in Italy in the ninetees , but i always struggled to understand this special accent/dialect from my trainer struthers (from scotland) there .

not the end of the world and way better then the autos in the scanias, but the gears are in the wring order :D oh and yes, way to go driver
10 years ago i was so against automatic trucks, until I drove an automatic Volvo and I was sold, from then on I only want to drive automatics, especially in traffic they're great and I noticed a lot of truck drivers are starting to accept them and like them after driving one. The funny thing is most of the people complaining about automatic trucks are usually people that have never even been behind the wheel of a truck. LOL
i have driven several trucks with the i-shift from volvo. it works, but it have had big problems with durability. and i like to be in full control while driving. it have gotten better over the 15 years it have been on the marked tho. you can be a bit more creative and brutal with a manual. burned clutch is very easy on an auto if not varefull enough.

Yes, women do make for better truck drivers. Glad to see Kirstie shifting without having to think about it and watching the road the way a professional driver should. How do I know? I have over two million miles safe over the highway and have seen my share of so-called professional drivers. There are the good and the bad.
