- Two Legends and a Donkey was easily one of our most popular DVDs. This one was full of craic from the start but behind the scenes it certainly wasn't all plain sailing. Donkey lets us in on the highs and lows of filming one of our most challenging productions to date.

The best dvd grass men have made. Literally a top gear episode of the franchise. Loved it. Green fever is a close second though

When my dad died of a heart attack we sold our ford 8830 and the john deere 3650 i loved those tractors and i knew i was never going to see him or them ever again i was going to end it all but then i found your video with the tw and the 4755 that was the closest thing to them. I just want to thank you i wouldnt be here with out it

Sorry to hear this Mike. Keep strong and keep your head lifted high. If you are ever close by you are more than welcome to call and see the 4755 and our 3650. The TW is no longer here so I cant sort that one.

My favourite dvd by u guys. Think I've watched it so much iv nearly worn it out. Watching this convinced me to buy me 8830 powershift. The old crash box just seemed hard
Crash box wasnt that bad when you get the hang of it basically its all about rev matching which becomes second nature overtime . Funk gearbox was a big improvement not jut for its easier operation but it had more gears making it easier to get a gear that suited. My ole Boys work had a TW-15 as their main tractor but his boss also bought and sold tractors and they got an 8730 which only problems were a blown turbo and a few seals in the box when she was stripped the Gearbox was like new with no wear at all and she had a few hours on her not sure just offhand.

my uncle used to drive a 4755 back in the 90s aswell as a ursus, international but he always says that the john Deere 4755 was the best tractor

Two legends was class. I know how you felt about the TW we've put 5 or 6k into our Marshall 804 and now we've to find an engine/block for it :/

We can try. But it's very hard to recreate that kind of humour and fun.
GRASSMEN get the boys back for a catch up, great dvd and like top gear genuine chemistry between you all. Problems were genuine which made it so good . And the magnum was and still is the best . Red power💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

I bought a John deere 1850 with a broken engine some 10 years ago, then I got that dvd... it's so true, don't buy a non runner, it's still parked with a broken engine but it's comming together now, almost finnished. DON'T BUY A NONRUNNER PEOPLE😂😂😂

I would’ve loved to buckrake with only the tw. The others ? Open grew up buck raking on a 8200 in the late 80s

cant beat that case by far the best horse in that silage race. 1990's Case IH are the best before they became part of crappy new Holland
I agree I know tw35 was not to bad but hard on diesel but the case is a good tractor and powerful.

Yes we are doing them all.
Donkey people are still liking old tractors as they are almost as cost effective when people have tallied up the diesel burnt between new and old tractors and we are back down to pushing more horse out of a smaller displacement hell the FPT engine is 6.7 litre and the TW series were 6.6. Also old tractors break you can fix most of these CVT's break you need someone on know-how and the electronics cost a fortune to fix.

To keep your business alive. Please invest in another old tractor restoration but smaller version. e.g. case 956, ford 7810 and Fiat 90-90.

HI Donkey just letting you know that these vids are great & honest. If your interested machinery Pete USA on y tube Under Dennis Polk auction part two, has a nice JD 4755 for sale. Back to the power test of your JD 4755 what was the cause of the power loss on the dyno. Regards Adrian
The pump was turned down. At the pump was adjusted ever so slightly and the big 47 is now putting out around 240 a tthe shaft. Lol
