Tribute, you absolutely nailed it! Making an equal to Turtles In Time was no easy feat. Now please make Mikey's dash attack better so he can compete with April!
It's true that your game really deserves its spot alongside Turtles In Time. I remember enjoying it so much, and thinking all along "I hope they put Super Shredder at the end". Then HE appeared, and I knew how much you people understood the spirit of the turtles ! 😍
If it makes you feel any better, the reason I haven't even played Shredder's Revenge yet is because I'm also alone and want to have a multiplayer experience. I would love to get 3 other guys to come over, order some pizzas, and have an awesome Friday night in New York playing it, but getting people together to do anything these days ain't easy.
Yeah I agree, Shredder's Revenge was surprisingly amazing. Played the whole game with my daughter... hopefully passing on the retro gamer torch to her :)
Have to give a shout-out to the fan-made masterpiece that is Rescue-Palooza. So many unlockable characters to play as, some really fun, imaginative levels, and a really great sense of humor. Highly recommend people check it out.
I enjoyed Battle Nexus but Turtles In Time & Shredder's Revenge always had to be at the top of the pile. Also, TributeGames commented on this video, how awesome is that?
Good list I never played shudders revenge. Here is my tmnt games list 5 Tmnt the original Nes 4 the hyperstone hyste 3 tmnt game boy 2 the Manhattan project 1 tmnt the arcade and turtles in time arcade
It makes me sad once again to see another person who doesn't see the massive difference between the arcade version and the SNES version of Turtles in Time. Gameplay wise, they are almost opposite, to the point I consider the SNES version to be the best BTU ever and my favorite retro game, and the arcade version to be a piece of coin-eating crap. The SNES version has a very tight gameplay, with pecise hitboxes, good feedback, mastered waves of enemies, and fantastic air play with the big jump with great air control plus 4 different kicks including the super fun dive kick allowing to aim and reach enemies everywhere on the screen. The arcade version is a mess with sluggish animation driven moves, lack of feedback, a dive kick usable only on a narrow window which prevent from exploiting it properly, and it constantly sends many enemies all attacking at once to eat your coins, it's just a mess, the opposite of how it feels on SNES. Good for you if you like it, but I don't get how it's even possible to not see how differently they play.
Well said although I think you’re overlooking what makes the arcade port so great which is the 4 player coop, the higher quality sound and music especially the turtles themselves speaking. Gameplay wise you nailed it though snes port fleshes out all the problems the arcade port had and even the exclusive versus mode adds things like blocking, a new throw and when you duck the turtles hide in their shell which is something I always got a kick out of. Plus you can change the art style from comic to anime look in the options
@@stevesteve0521 You're right about that, I judge the game in single player mode, and indeed in 3 or 4 players coop, it must be something else, still flowed gameplay, but certainly pretty fun and less overwhelming.
Turtles in Time (SNES) is one of top two best beat em ups ever made. I would have it at number 1 all time. Hyperstone Heist feels like a dlc for Turtles in Time because it doesn't have as many levels.
Loved the TMNT show , toys and movies but wasn't to much into the games. Im definitely gonna get the Cowabunga collection and Shredders Revenge. Also some of the PS2 releases now🤘🏻
Sorry. TMNT arcade version you placed as #3 for me is a hard no. It doesn’t belong on the top 5 but then again this is your top 5. TMNT 2 NES easily top 5. Also Leo is not lame 👍🏽.
glad that "Manhattan project" is getting some love. game is super underrated.
Wow! The #1 spot?! What an honor, thank you! 🐢💜
It was well earned! You guys did an amazing job, keep up the good work :)

I agree. I played the SNES first. And it controlled WAY better.

I actually like the Arcade version better lol. But the SNES was my jam
Turtles in Time for the SNES is one of the best games of all time

Mr Peak is BACK BABY!! Got any future videos I should look out for?
Thanks! Hopefully a decent amount in 2025, although I like to keep specifically what vids I’m making a surprise until they come out ;)
My opinions is getting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Edition for gaming systems too
What games at 0:35?
That’s TMNT Mutants in Manhattan on the PS3/PS4. It’s a decent game in many ways, but just wasn’t good enough to make the countdown.
I’m really wanting to try out Rescue-Palooza
What's the name of that first bit of synth wave used in the intro mate?
What would be your favorite turtle and why is it Leonardo?
The color blue and katanas. That’s all it took for him to be my favorite as a kid and it’s stuck with me ever since.
Why does nobody ever mention in the snes turtles in time the attacks actually have impact rather than just going through the enemy like the arcade?
CBS Cartoon Express? It’s either USA Cartoon Express or the CBS Action Zone.
It was USA Cartoon Express. I misspoke.
Yes!!
Wow, you're alive?

Tmnt 2007 on gba is better than manhattan project
