i find the lack of Einhander on this list disturbing... having Ikaruga on this list without Radiant Silvergun is nuts. no Raiden? no R-Type Delta? no Mushihimesama Futari? insane.
Thanks for watching and commenting! I did make a part 2 lol. But I didn't realize how much I didn't know about the genre at the time I made this video. I was the only one in my friend group who played this style of game and just wanted to share what I thought was cool with my friends.
To be fair, I did include some Radiant Silvergun gameplay in the Ikaruga segment here and Einhander is shown for a few seconds in part two, as well as an entire Cave section that includes Mushihimesama. But these are all personal preferences of mine and I just wanted to share games I've enjoyed.
@@boredtimethings Einhander is the greatest shmup of all time. don't let anyone tell you any different!
Hahaha I’m gonna say shmup is a Yiddish word from now on
lol you're young.
I'm in my 30s lol
cuphead is not a shmup.
Lol, I knew that would be a controversial pick and I did address that a bit. I also put out a part 2 last month that covers a lot more shmupy shmups. Thanks for watching!
Do donpachi, blazing star, mushihimesama, esp galuda and way more.
I've got a lot more videos planned before a Shmup follow up, but I do have a follow up planned that may or may not include Dodonpachi and Blazing Star :)
@@boredtimethings nice 👍
