Great job on the video, not sure why so many are saying you messed up your car. First of all why they watching a fender roll video, second if its just a subtle fix these dudes would never know.Bunch of experts on the internet
LOL. My thought exactly... If they are so against it, why are they watching it? It's not like we did click bait or anything.. ha
I mean really 95% percent of the population even a dealer would never know you pulled a fender this subtle.
Watching it so we know what to look for when buying a car. NEXT!
LMP Hahahahahaa. Cause a slight roll in fender is something that’s going to “ruin” your car down the road... either way, if done properly and with such little roll and pull, like done here, you will never ever know....
Thank you for this, I’m a lot more confident after watching this
Watched about half a dozen videos about fender rolling and this was the best one. I like the cardboard test at the end.
Thanks 🙏🏼
Am glad I watched this video I will be rolling mine on Monday thanks for the advice 👍
AWSOME VIDEO! Thank you!! I will be using this to roll and pull mine!
im from germany and this is the best video on that topic.. thank you very much
i hope im able to avoid it on my RS with new 8,5x19
Great explanations, the test at the end is great.
Subscribed 😎
Thanks for the tips everything went smooth.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Your videos are GREAT!
Thanks! More to come!
Hey Brian, how about a video explaining rims, tires match up. There's a lot of confusion going on. The offset and the implications of the so desired ultra large wheels / tires i.e 275/35 rear etc. Thanks
Great video! Very useful, thank you!
Great video Bryan...Ha Ha Ha, I love the way Levi keeps making little cameo appearances. Keep it up bro.
Amazing staff 😂 top marks to the young lad handing the tools
Great video, did you thought about painting your calipers? The front one could use some paint. Maybe like the M cars in blue
Love your car and your videos.
Thanks!
Is there a way to mark the tool so you know exactly how far you need to pull the other rear fender?
I have seen so many people puttin m3 kits on them...they should roll the quater pannel too .. great video
Hey Bryan I’m a big fan I kno this is old but looked up fender and ur video came up just wanna kno wat size rim are they and are they 19.5 all around
Nice video, thanks!! But that final part of the cardboard gave me an idea. Why can't someone put some rubber sheets above the tire, and lift the opposite corner so that the fender touches the rubber and one blows hot air to conform it?
Great video man!
Thanks! Don't roll your finger, it hurts like a bear!
Great video👍
I have the exact same problem with my car, my wheels stick out past the arches. Do you have any after shots of the whole car. I think I need to do this
What size tires do you have and rim offset?
damn i love the tool
hello, I have a bmw f30 335i 2015, I had the original rims with H&R springs now... I bought an original m437 from an M4. Since I made the change I feel a lot of instability in the car, did the same happen to you?
So what’s the ideal rim width and tire sizes so things fit correctly without having to roll
Stock
Hey Brian, how is your F30? There are many least return on Carvana and others, but I'm but scared of BMW maintenance and reliability. I do not know much about BMW and perhaps my worries are nonsense, but I thought someone like you who actually own one and work on their own cars can give the best advise.
Recalled Harbor Freight jack stands?
please, put the tire and wheels specs!!!
Thx!
Nice video - what were the size of your wheels/tires?
Hi, thanks. Rims are 9.5 wide by 18". I have to look up the tire size..
what tire size do you have in the rear
Fyi on most vehicles it is not a good idea to roll your front fenders due to the thin metal and it will bacon them as soon as you come up a driveway or speed bump
I wonder what size tires he was running on the 9.5 width tires? I'm running 20.9 front 35et and 20.10.5 rear 35et wheels mounted on 235/35 20 front and 285/25 20 rear tires. No rubbing my 2014 F30 Sedan
I think that his et was low and then your tire wil go out..
Specs on the wheels/tires? I'm looking to get new wheels for my 340i. I don't want them to poke out like these and rolling the fenders is not a good idea on a lease haha
This looks like a 20mm offset on a 19x9.5 wheel. 35mm offset would be tucked a bit more under the fender (15mm more).
What offset did you get? Because I plan on getting new wheels on my 328i f30 and I dont want them to stick out.
I'll have to pull a wheel off and look..
it will be greatly appreciated if you give us the wheel specs/offsets and also your tire specs. Thanks in advance! Thinking about going 19s for my F30 : )
Get a 35 offset
i run 18x 9.5 et22 for the front. its rolled, but the problem im running into is that my wheels hit the bumper mount tab.
What suspension set up do you have?
Kies Motorsports i have coilovers. right now the only solution for me would be to get stiffer springs.
What’s the size back and front?
How wide are your rear wheels?
why are the dust shields on the rear much larger than the rotor? is that stock on the f30's?
Hi, yea that's 100% stock
great video! what setting should i set the heat gun? thanks in advance!
I’d have it on a medium / low setting. Don’t want to burn the paint
@@KiesMotorsports ok got it. thanks for replying and video!
What kind of wheels are those?
Does your products work with non Drive like my 2012 BMW 328i?
Which products?
What offset were these wheels??
I wanna go extremely low in my Camry, so my best bet is to not buy wheels that's wider then 8 inch, because I need an inch clearance between the wheel well, and tires. I'm going for the tuck fitment. No spacers, so after I lower my car, and put my Aftermarket wheels on. I'll see if it's rubbing, then I'll have to do a roll & pull. As long as I'm not losing a chunk of my side wall from rubbing.
WHAT KIND of wheels are Those
now the question is, how do you roll the fender back inward if later on you decide to restore it like the factory default?
Buy new fenders lol 😂
Hammer it 😐🤔😛
Super
Would you have this problem with an 18 inch rim that was either 8 or 8.5 inches wide? I don't want to go to all of that trouble.
It's all about the offset
So yes or no would you have this problem? 😁
+GadgetJunkie you could have 7" wide rims that still have the problem and 9.5 rims that fit great, like I was saying, it's all about the offset
Somehow I get the feeling new bimmers are not that tools target demographic but hey whatever makes ya happy:)
What is the model name for those alloys
Hi, I don’t remember, sorry. It’s been a long time.. they were VMR
9 inches width on the rear should fit perfectly huh. I have a f30 as well and thinking about putting 9 inch width rims on it
Yea, if I did it again, I'd probably go with a 9 inch rim, but you have to keep in mind the offset. You could end up with a set of 9 inch rims that stick out and a set of 9.5 inch rims that don't stick out
I have a 2009 135i with a ER Wet CF FE WB Kit on it. I am running 18 X 9.5 ET 22 Fronts / 18 X 9.5 ET 58 rears with square Michelin Pilot SS 275/35/18's But I am as wide a a 1M in front! I also have 1M fender liners, TC Kline Coilover Dbl Adjust with Vorshlag Camber & Caster plates, Swift 336 lbs front springs with the Thrust Bearing Sheets at all for corners.
What's the offset?
Completely lost it at 15:14 🤣
1:02 you just hit yourself in the face
Valentino Torres lmao😂
How much wider roughly are the fenders after the pull ? Thanks
you can go up to 10-15mm on the average car i searched it up
Latinos definitely favorited this video 😂😂😂
hey
I have a f30 as well and I wanna make it look like your . can you help me out ?
Sure, email me at info@kiesmotorsports.com and we can help you out
Hey men, you Need more Camper.
I have 8x18 et 30 Front and Rear 9x18 et40 with 2,2 and 2 degree
Rear is perfect and Front would go much more or 3 degree.
Much more corner Speed.
Hi, I'm going to get coilovers and then I'll probably go there :) I'm not crazy about the springs that I have on there right now..
Dom Inic “camber”. Camper is someone vacationing in the woods
This is true.. lol
rear wheels 19x9.5 et35 ?
I believe the offset was 22
Offset 22 on all 4 rims?
I would nv do this to my car though😕
I wouldn't do it again either, ha
Me too never
your the best white boi thanks
Those are the VMR rims or some m3 replica?
Hi, these are the VMR wheels
bro people put 11 inch wheels in the rear with the right offset and camber you don't need to roll the fenders on a bmw
With this offset, it was rubbing, so I rolled instead of buying new wheels :)
Or you could just choose wheels that fit
But that wouldn't help me learn new things :)
But that's not very #stancenation #hellaflush
Or sometimes you get a set of used wheels and tires for the price of two new wheels and just work with what you got
Many manufacturers just don't make wheels that fit, they all cater to "hellaflushbro" crowd that like cracked paint and rusty fenders. Trying to buy good quality lightweight wheels for E46 is a nightmare, everyone (volk, oz, enkei...) makes only ET35 wheels but factory they had ET50.
Dles it looks like a f80 after that
"whats happening" oh, we know what's happening..
Risky job on a new BMW
No its not... And a BMW is no different
Not much motorsport, without a garage.
Hmmm get a coilover kit..lol fix the preload no need to roll your virgin fenders.
:O I'm not sure I believe in what I see. Are you make it real? Or it's a scam?
resale value just dropped 70% by doing this.
It's ok. The car was totaled a few months ago
Kies Motorsports Haha, problem solved.
Lol
resale value dropped when you sign the papers and exit the dealership so ehh💁🏻♂️
No it didn't
Very dramatic for the BMW.
Not good.
It was very subtle, unless you knew it was done, you'd never know
You would never even notice... just stop it
OMG Folks just buy wheels that fit. Never roll your fenders it will mess the look up.
You would never notice. Nice try though
Your wrecking your car dude
Nah, it was very subtle
