- This is a demonstration video on robot behavior when they react to human spies. All robots are on expert mode difficulty. Also, ragdoll physics are weird in this video.
The map the demonstration was made on is a modified version of the training map made by me, and it still has a couple issues as you can see from the odd purple lighting in some rooms by HDR lighting and such. Also, I didn't remove any mods, so you might notice some differences such as rocket launchers having different trails or such.

@@aramissanchez8933 Bots are simply insane especially on Expert as they can easily predict your move.
Thats why Expert mode Bots are ridiculously unfun to play against when IT comes to fighting them in regular game
In mvm its not that big of deal but the reaction times are insane just 0,2s and your dead.
That's kinda cool how when you sap them, the others turn and look at you but don't shoot you. It's cool and kinda scary how they're suspecting that you may be a spy

whelp, better than the actual bots. The actual bots in training mode have aimbot.
What sucks is that you can't trickstab bots. If they were programmed to have a bit of delayed reaction like a human, then they would be.

but you can only do it when his minigun is spinning or firing.
Actually, all bots in easy mode have delayed reaction time to movement. Normal and up it’s basically perfect. I’ll say easy is still way too fast tracking though
Every AI has Aimbot to some degree and i dont mean literal aimbot that just kills you on sight.

@@Chaud31423 it's been over a month but now i got a notification of someone liking my comment so my tip is to sap the smaller important robots and let someone else deal with it while you make the giant forget you by dead ringing away

There's a mod in gamebanana where you can have the old rocket jumper and sticky jumper as a skin, just put it on the custom folder

MVM logic : robot soldier doesn't notice when see a disguised spy uncloak at front and when disguised spy contact him but he notices when disguised spy cloak behind him
That's actually a pretty cool extensive set of conditionals to produce a somewhat realistic set of behaviors. Notice the difference in reaction between the spy decloaking nearby vs far away, for example. I'll even explain away some of the forgetfulness as anti-frustration features.

So...
Cloaking will "reveal" you. Uncloaking does not.
Jarate and Fire "reveals" to you. Milk does not.
Sound does not alert them. Technically this makes Dead Ringer the BEST watch.
Sapping will make them face you, but not shoot.
Disguise bumping and getting hit will reveal you.

Just so you know: the soldier robots were holding the sticky rocket launcher, or whatever it's called. Basically, it does NO damage, all it does is let you jump really freakin' high

Fun fact: Most players don't know that TF2 has a class called "SPY" which can disguise as any player. So spies can easily earn free killstreak without being suspected.

nah, this video came out like 2 years ago and I can't play tf2 anymore because I don't have enough space for it on my laptop. My demonstration skills aren't that great either, I make a lot of mistakes here and something like this would be unacceptable and rejected as a demonstration submission if it were submitted to the TF2 wiki.

I hate the fact that they put robo-spy on make and don’t put a spy bot on training.
Dont even bother with Expert bots they are much more skilled than any human player
They can do airshots and landing every single pipe into you
Simply Expert mode IS big difficulty spike compared to Hard mode
Hard mode IS pretty much equal to Average players.
Still the weapon does no damage so if u get hit in real mvm they'll only stop shooting ate u wen u stop getting hit and heavy bots are the worst to fight because they constantly shot ate u the only option against heavy's is to fallback ore hide behind a rock ore something

You just spawn them with jarate, give it an instant recharge, and restrict them to only use their secondary
