Notice they did the publicity in their all-white uniforms. Perfect understatement. Hate that the current group keeps insisting on orange or brown pants
@@kevinmadden1645 Because Paul Brown thought the white uniform was better looking and he wanted it to be football's iconic equivalent of Yankee pinstripes. Jim Brown, and other members of the 1960s Browns thought the whites made them look bigger than the opposition (a thought echoed by Clay Matthews in the 1980s). During the '64 championship game, Ross Fichtner mentioned to the other Browns that the Colts looked "tiny" in their blue. They all laughingly agreed. I liked that the white, along with the orange helmets, really "popped" against the usual gray Northeast Ohio skies and the inevitable grass stains and mud.
I saw a player with a face mask, what's with this story of it being fashioned at halftime in about 1955 to protect Otto Grahams face after it was lacerated in game and used for first time ?
Terrific watching this. Those were the days when football was FOOTBALL!
What an exciting final game!!!!!
Cant believe this is in full color
This is a fantastic video. I love your channel!
Rams had zero pass rush!
Cool vid

I could never understand why a team called " Browns" insisted on wearing a white uniform at home.

Yep. It is their best look. The all-whites. It isn't even a matter of opinion. It's a fact.
As a Giant fan it’s a shame what happened to the Browns! They were the pride of the NFL and now they like the Giants are a utter JOKE!
Browns took NFL by storm
