My pleasure, it really was a great opportunity to make some videos of the superb events - and what a fantastic backdrop with the sun setting there like that!
Very Nice. d'Issan is the smoothest and most gentle red wine ever. Subtle, delicate, soft and deep. Great balance. Great choice. Perfect description. Thanks so much.
I think if you love elegant perfumed wines d'Issan is the epotomie of Elegance from Bordeaux's Right bank. The quality of the wines there has been on an upward trajectory of late and that certainly shows in the Blason d'Issan (second wine). Especially when young the Blason, with less oak influence, can be perfumed and ravishingly beautiful.
@ I think both wines are extremely good. I’ve been able to find both for much less online than in a store, and have bought a few cases. Would you have any other right bank recommendations that are worth looking into?
For elegance and poise in a value for money context I don't think you can go wrong with Cantemerle, it doesn't have the violet perfume of a Margaux but normally delivers beautiful clean cassis flavors. Batailey is always well priced and a classically structured Pauillac. Pedesclaux, is a Paauillac made by the same team as make d'Issan that has improved enormously in the past decade or so,...
I will keep your recommendation in mind. Let me see where I can find it. I found it on one website, but I have to buy a case. I would like to get a smaller quantity first. This is an update to the rest of my reply. I found it for $35.00. I’ll order several bottles when the weather gets a little warmer.

Thank you - the other thing is despite being perfumed & elegant it ages really well.
David, many thanks for finding the time for reviewing the wines you like during this quite busy event.
Our pleasure
I really like this wine very much. I have also bought their second wine too. It’s quite good, though there is a noticeable difference.

Thanks for your kind remarks the wine is superb, but the backdrop of the Miami Beach sunset really makes it!
