2011 is a drinkers vintage. As the press quickly disregarded it, prices are accessible for us drinkers. I’ve had the ‘11 Conseillante which once again proved me that excellent producers make magic in the off-vintages.

Who makes the decanter shown in the video? Was it Riedel?

Theres exceptional vintages and poor vintages. But I believe that, if you give time to the time, the majority of the vintages are very, very good.
The 2011 is so good. I drinked 3 wines from 2011 vintages. A grand vin Ch. Brown and Le Puy Emilien in 2018 both were at the peak, nice aromas and so velvety on the palate. And Leoville Poyferre in 2019 was so good despite still so young I could taste truffles, cassis and black currant, velvety on the palate and you can drink at any time, just give it a hour or two to breathe like she said. And drink it slowly and you will be rewarded. Now in 2022 (still young) it would be much better.
