The clicking is from my xbox 360 controller right trigger it keeps squeaking and the analog sticks, I get a little aggressive on them. Love the name moist memes lol
This is the only thing I’ve found AT ALL on the use of bodyweight on any of the MXGP/MESX games, and it isn’t very comprehensive. What happens with forward/backward weight bias on entry/exit? Does leaning out on exit work to help keep your line running wide without a jerky left stick input? Same question for leaning in tightening the line smoothly on exit with minor trajectory changes? Does leaning forward/back help with getting power down? Out of slower corners? How bout fast corners? Does weight bias assist in power sliding? Should I continue to run with manual weigh balance? If I do so will the rider still maintain balanced corner position when stick is neutral? Or should I run semi-auto and add my own weight bias where I feel needed? What about with squaring off corners, Forward? Lean in? Do I use left/right input with this or neutral? What about when I switch from brake to power, do I change weight bias? When getting the power down is there a point where you would switch front/back weight bias for better drive? Weight balance takes up the right thumb, it feels like it should be a huge part of the game and going fast. I would deeply appreciate any input you can give me, I’m fast as fk on MotoGP. This is my first dirt bike game, just got it and want to get in the correct habits off the bat.
@@Qwerty19 same here. I love playing each one of their games. I still have fun with mxgp3. But yeah monster 2 is gonna be sick! I look forward to the videos!
What's bike lean? Do you mean steer? I'm havin trouble on turning. I did a pretty good set up and have been able to be on the gas while going around a bend with decent results. But sometimes I experience oversteer and understeer.
Yeah when you steer it also leans the bike over in the corners so you want to look out for that, I made a video on bike setup if you want to check it out. In my experience the times I get the oversteer or understeer it's because I'm using the rider lean (right stick) too much
Yeah it was an issue for me when i first started but a few little tricks definitely helped me. Try making the wheelbase long, push the gearing a little more towards top speed it will lessen the acceleration so you wont slide out as much, and when you are riding 4 strokes you can go through most turns in a higher gear which helps too!
With using an Xbox controller I have my front brake as LT and back break as A. In most 180 corners or bowl turns i only using the left analog stick and front brake, i really only use the rider lean (right analog stick) as small adjustments mid corner. Some tracks you can use the lean more than others, sand tracks you can pretty much hold it wide open. Hard pack i find if i lean a lot I'll end up falling more Hope this helps a little - a bit harder to explain without a video on my controller as I'm playing
Sorry about that, all you need to do is be using manual shifting, hold in the clutch and upshift into second gear. All of the AI start in first gear so this will let you get a better jump than them
Huh thats weird it should work for consoles and pc, id say to make sure youre using manual shifting and that you are holding in the clutch while shifting up at the gate
@@Qwerty19 it is weird, lol but also hold the front brake and let clutch out just a touch before you think the gate is going to drop and you get the back wheel spin then release front brake and it you better also
It could definitely more realistic but i think this is the most realistic game milestone has put out and theyre making progress, in another year or two their games should be really good
Well what's best about this now is you getting a realistic part also the arcady part that's the difference and it's much better than just a realistic that gets kind of boring because it seems you're going too slow
Thats not a dumb question at all i know i had some trouble figuring it out when i first started playing milestone games. You just have to choose time trial then choose the track and whichever rider you want to use and then start the race, you can race against your own ghosts or even other people's
I have mine set to manual rider lean, when i had it as automatic he was leaning everywhere. I usually only use it to lean forward or backwards. When i lean to one side i feel that my back end slides out too much
I prefer 3rd person because it lets me better control the backend. When I'm 1st person i usually dont know how far my backend is sliding out until its too late
I actually think this video was extremely helpful and I’m pretty decent at this game. Job well done man👍🏻
Thanks I appreciate it! I'm thinking about doing a video series for each tracks fast lines and how to go through the turns and all that
you’re trash
Yep Just another good video from the best mxgp pro player out there keep IT up
Thank you will do!
i wouldnt say the best.... im faster at valkensward.. ran a 1:25....
and by looking at his suspesntion settings, his turning is okay but not his setups for jumps.. also gear ratio was off for that track.
Steven Smith yeah but still he is also talking the hole time and that is pretty hard to focus like u normally do
i posted a video racing 450s on a 250 and winning too
Damn I've been looking for a video like this. Thank you.
No problem glad it could help!
Do you play on a keyboard? Because I hear clicking in the background. Love the vids!!!

Nice video mate I really love and enjoy your videos
Thank you I appreciate all the support I get from all you!
Finally I found a good corner vid
Good video. Liked and subbed. I just got this game and I'm having a blast on it!
Thanks man appreciate the support, the game is a big step i think for milestone and i cant wait for the upcoming monster energy supercross game

How do you leave the compound
Great video thanks 😊
No problem thanks for watching!
Damn, going against your ghost would defiantly be on the hardest difficulty if it was in the game lmao.
Mate, I throw so much wheel spin. Is that a problem ever for you or am I just doing it wrong?
Yeah it was an issue for me when i first started but a few little tricks definitely helped me. Whats the track?
For beginner that just got the game and be nice to know what buttons you are actually pushing to make the corners look that easy

Friend me, dtduey is my game tag
what track are you at?
netherlands
How are you on the track solo?
Time attack mode, when in there you can toggle off your ghost lap time showing

No problem!!

Hey I might seem a bit dumb but how do you get into a session on your own like that on that map

I noticed you don’t lean with the bike, or it doesn’t look like it? My guy is leaning everywhere when I ride hahah

hate how high pitch the 125's are in this game
I ran a 125.4 on a YZ125 yesterday 💪 little different of a Suspension set up
Look like motogp... Do that on a real track 20 second and you are down... Cause ruts....
Atleast ride first person man
