Ive been making sushi bakes for a few years and we bake the sushi bake not broil - she must of had it on low and way far from the flame to last 10 min, maybe broil for a minute or too for additional color after baking. Baking also makes sure its warm all the way through. Also another way is to layer the ingredients and not mix all together - gives a lot of depth to the flavors.

I was a little surprised to see her using Krab but I eat it at sushi restaurants so no judgment from me. This is the perfect way to introduce people to sushi. My little brother took me out for sushi when he was just 17 ❤️ and I was scared. He ordered a crunch roll for me. Now I eat anything offered to me.

if you roll the crab under your palms, kinda like dough, it will separate with the quickness. or if you have a load to do. cut it in chunks and throw it in your mixer. Voilà! Been making sushi bake for years now and have found ways to make it quick and easy. I also add the japanese crunchy chili oil to my crab mixture for a little more texture and flavor. plus some salmon.
@@FarnumGrindtime this tip is good if you have 2 or more packs. Cut them into chunks, put them in a kitchen aide or you could use a hand mixer. shreds it perfectly. This also works great with chicken.
Looks delicious! Love your videos. The only thing with recipes like this though is don’t usually use most of these ingredients. So it ends up being easier and cheaper to just go order sushi 😂

kewpie..is like amped up hellmans.. kind of has a lemony taste to it... its super yumm.. if you like tuna salad.. use it with the canned tuna.. dont even need added salt/seasoning..
