There's something so satisfying watching your POV's. Great work as always man. Looking forward to seeing more of your Japan content and wherever next you are heading!
Love the preset on the see-through umbrellas. It should be a law that everyone must use one. :) P. S. Instead of the repetitive "sick," how about: superb, wonderful, lovely, awesome, outgeously good, exceptional, exquisite... well, you get the idea. ;)
I bought Samyang 85mm mki and start shoot because of you, It's really amazing lens ,image is so sharp. What different the mark i and mark ii you think ? Should I buy the mark ii ?
Loved it😍 Japan is best for street photography (never been there but i would love too in future 😅) Got some ideas from this video.. Thank u Even the edits on pictures in video was 🤌🏻🤌🏻top notch 🤩
Thank you so much. I wanted to try something different with the edits instead of the same boring blue tones everyone does for night stuff! I appreciate this comment a lot ❤
Quick fact. The percentage You get on a forecast is the percentage from the area that is 100% getting rain. For example. He had a 40% chance of rain. That means that 40% of the forcasted area is going to get rain.
So I’ve used both and I can clearly say, build quality, auto focus and usability is better on the mk2 however if you have the mk1 and it works well I would say no need to upgrade. The mk1 had some issue with some of the units that were sold. There wasn’t any consistency with the build quality but since then Samyang have made adjustments and the mk2 is overall a much better lens and I think if someone is buying a 85mm on the cheaper side the mk2 is great if still to pricey i would recommend going for the mk1 and hope they get a good unit. 😊
Could you please explain the kind of settings you would setup in the camera for a night shoot? The images are really sharp. Do you stick to f 1.4 all the time? or would you change occasionally ?
It all depends, f1.4-f4 are where you want to be, anything past that you’ll need your shutter to be open longer and most likely need a tripod. Iso depending on light can be 640-3000 (depending on the camera you use) most newer cameras can deal with higher iso which means better night shots. Where the f1.4 comes in handy is that it allows more light through the lens natively which means overall a less grainy photo. Hope this helps.
First apply the preset, increase exposure (if needed) then slide the tint towards magenta, then head down to the calibration sliders then slide the shadows towards the magenta also then make other adjustments depending on the lighting etc of your photo you pay want more saturation or contrast if it’s still not hitting the spot (as it all depends on lighting and camera) head to the colour grading wheels and move them towards the magenta / pink tones you can then increase or decrease the blending and balance to get the right vibe you’re after. Hope this helps 😊
Awesome vid! Lost me after about 4 minutes because the constant sniffing was too intense for me, maybe edit it out of the audio would help? Keep up the great stuff!
Because I want to see the world and different cultures 😊 I am also in the slow slow process of moving to Australia (if We’re approved) so we wanted to come and explore this side of the planet before hand 😊
Tokyo and osaka are amazing for photos, just be careful of the privacy laws in Japan. You may notice a lot of people shielding themselves from your shots, they dont tend to like it, and it is Japanese Law that if you are asked to delete a photo of someone you must do it or be prosecuted. So just keep your wits about you! I've spent 6 months there and never had it happen, but its something to be aware of!
Enjoyable video 😊 Just wont believe you when you are actually sick, since every single picture is called ‘sick’. Quite annoying actually, just feedback no hate. Enjoy your stay!
I don’t typically just walk around silently in my povs it tends to become boring For me editing and for me shooting. I like to tell people my process and thoughts/ideas. There’s others that do this type of video though.
More povs please, they are so good to watch, the only thing I would like is to see a pov where the weather isn't really doing anything interesting, it's more of a challenge tbh
Super jelly!! Stress less!!!
Oh!Street photograph is back!yeah!
The shot at 02:56 looked great before the edit. Lovely colours from that lens!
and the shot at 08:19

In what mode you shoot your street photography?
Sam "The machine-gun" Basset like child in a candy store touring Tokyo streets, all you hear is takatakatakatakatakataka ;D
Great to see you POV Japan! My favourite place to visit. Been 5 times but can’t wait to get back now I know about more about street photography 👍🇯🇵

How you managed that walk in the rain, hats off man. Loving the new cyber punk vibe for these photos.
Thank you 🙏 it was a mission 😂 I think we did 12km in the rain. I just couldn’t wait to get out and shoot. Glad you liked the edits 🙏

Thank you eva! I can’t wait to see more of Japan 😊

And right after watching this video, I decided to buy your 1 of the preset pack🤩.
(Sent you a pic in insta🙈😅)

bro i love your vids keep up the great work👍
Thank you 🙏 ❤
Man have fun in Japan im super jealous :)
I can’t wait to explore some more 😊
Bruh, you should have shot with a lower shutter when the cars were going past the guy with the umbrella. Would have been mint👌
Your thoughts on samyang 1.4 version 1 and 2 ? Big difference ? Worth buying the mk2 ? I love the mk1, and doubt it can be that much better ?
So I’ve used both and I can clearly say, build quality, auto focus and usability is better on the mk2 however if you have the mk1 and it works well I would say no need to upgrade. @@Opticalwander love my mk1 so much. Never any problems. ill keep this one then. Cheers :)
Hit up Dustin Williams. He's on UA-cam and visits Japan regularly. Last I checked, he keeps a R34 Skyline in Japan.

Thank you ❤
Great video, glad to see Tokyo! But in my opinion many of your shots looked better without the pink tones.
It’s all a creative choice 🙏 glad you liked the video!
have you considered organizing a photowalk workshop?
I'd like to join it.
Oh so it was Tokyo?!? I WAS WAYYYYY OFF!!!
I love your videos mate. Which preset did you used from your Preset Pack?
Hey 👋 thank you so much, I pinned a comment answering this question🙏
I have watched a lot of useful videos from you. Sorry to not see you because you went to tokyo but i live in osaka
I will be coming to Osaka soon 🙏
NIce one! Always love these videos of yours. Have you had any Corona related issues? I'm planning to go there as well :)
No issues at all, getting in was pretty straight forward. Couple of things you have to do but nothing excessive.
Sam do you have auto focus on the lens but the camera set on manual mode? Or full manual settings?
auto focus, manual settings.
@@Opticalwander thanks Sam, this will help me a lot in future I always thought I was messing around with settings people don't usually do 🤣
Iso dan kamera apa.?
Amazing bro ! Can you explain the exact preset settings ? I have your pack and the dream state preset but i can't make exactly the same as yours...
16:00 Barisal is a Bangladeshi city...
Was it raining by any chance Sam ? 😂😂😂
Not sure if you realised by now but yes Mark it was raining 😂😂
Were you these photos edited?
Hey yes, I used one of my presets (I have pinned a comment explaining which one)
Come to India (kolkata)
Moro numa cidade que não tem nada que chame a atenção, aí fica difícil de fazer boas fotos de rua!😏
It can be difficult but maybe try to be more simplified with the shots. There’s always a story to tell ❤
👍👌👍
Why are you moving around anyways like from City to city or whatever?
Because I want to see the world and different cultures 😊 I am also in the slow slow process of moving to Australia (if We’re approved) so we wanted to come and explore this side of the planet before hand 😊

and a Useful Japanese sentence, Shashin wo Totte mo ii desu ka? Can I take a photo?
Thank you, I am aware and did do some research before hand, really appreciate you telling me the sentence. It Will help a lot 🙏❤
Something tells me he thought it was….moist lol
Enjoyable video 😊 Just wont believe you when you are actually sick, since every single picture is called ‘sick’. Quite annoying actually, just feedback no hate. Enjoy your stay!
😂 it’s funny because while editing I realise how many times I say 😂 I need to diversify my vocabulary 😂
Really want the preset❤
ISO BERAPA KALO NIGHT KA 🙏
Hit up Sammit he is a UA-camr and has a shop and drift car
kinda early?
Where spiky hair kids at? Where monster fights at? Why is noone talking in subtitles? This isn't Tokyo brother. You have been scammed
Can you talk a little less in ur video and let us feel the environment
