My answer typically goes like this :
Well it depends on where the company see's itself in 5 years. I am here to make a difference for the company & me for mutual benefit. I wish to take up challenging assignments and add value may be in a very small way but constructively. As long as there are sufficient opportunities and challenges to keep me engaged and motivated, I will churn out the best in me and thrive to give productive results.

I went for a credit control role and replied with "after in depth experience, I'd like to see my self in a credit control management position"
They didn't hire me based on the fact I was too ambitious, even though the company was having rapid growth. Just goes to show Don was right, you need to show you want to take on more responsibilities and challenges, rather than seeming like you want the interviewers job. Lesson learnt!

told them i want to climb the corporate ladders, the recruiter directly say: ''sorry... i don't think you're suitable for this job.''
    what is my wrong?

Sir Don, thanks for the video because I've realized that there's something wrong with my answers during my interview which costs me the opportunity to get applied for the position. I'm currently watching your videos so that I'll follow your advice about what to say and not to say during the job interview.

My boss asked me this, a long time ago, I couldn't answer it. I didn't have a crystal ball, and too many factors I couldn't control.

Don your techniques don't work. It all boils down to whether the interviewer likes you in the beginning or not. Long time interviewer here who has used all of the right answers.

I agree, I am a graduate and the interviewer didn't like me I failed the interview because I'm smarter than her, perhaps she saw me as a threat. I was called for the interview the second time, but I didn't except the job.

@@ajb5114 An intensely negative perception of other people (especially when you view them as "below" you due to a specific trait such as intelligence) can rub off really badly onto others. "If this person engages with me this way, chances are he'll behave this way around co-workers or managers."
It's completely possible to be qualified for a job and be rejected because you lack people skills or came off badly. In my current position, I've seen some of the best people in terms of raw task performance last no longer than a few weeks because of conflicts with co-workers or managers, or simply because they refused to engage in certain tasks despite their capacity to do them. This was mostly because of their strong personality and "I know best"-attitude.
It's a very real thing to consider for employers. You don't want an employer that tells you "I'm smarter than you, know your place, I control you", and an employer doesn't want you coming off that way either.
Of course, I don't know you and this is purely hypothetical. The point being, it's not strange to be rejected for being disliked by an interviewer. It's happened to me too and it happens all the time.
