Just came back from S Parade. It’s very much alive and a comfortable place to hang out with family & friends. There are new restaurants and cafes just opened. I like the aura, not too busy and crowded. Tou know where you parked your car, unlike at megamalls. Parkson’s household dept is my fav shopping destination ☺️
Thanks to Parkson, can sometimes go Subang Parade for shopping. Its still a very convenient mall to go to. Needs more tenants but its up to the mall to help keep the rent low for tenants to sustain business.
Back in the day, it was the mall for SJ folks. Now, a stone’s throw away there are six or seven malls, you know of the newer ones are long dead and buried before their time like One City Mall. That one is a ghost town. Subang Parade still lives on, amidst tier one mall like Pyramid.
Definitely not dead. I remember having my first ever McDonald's meal (it was the chicken mcnuggets in Styrofoam boxes) here in the mid 80s. There was an mph bookstore there too which recently closed a year or two ago, but it had a great staying power from the 80s too.
The maintenence are really poor . Almost 3 days once i will shop here . The escalator was breakdown for more than 4 months and the management just ignore . Pity for disabled .

I always wanted to go to Subang Parade back in the 90s, i bet the foot traffic will be packed back then.
It is still rather packed now. But I can imagine what it would be like in the 90s😂
