- Anyone who has followed me for a while will know that I am utterly obsessed with coats - I’ve been collecting them for years and have now built up quite the rail. It would take far too long to show you every coat I’ve ever bought, so instead I’m going to show you my all-time favourites. I love variety in my wardrobe, so I’m showing you a bit of everything, from high-street to designer, classic silhouettes to statement sequins, faux-fur opulence to countryside chic. Nothing brings me more joy than pulling a look together with a truly fabulous coat - these are investment pieces to last a lifetime…

Idea- What Trinny wore all week! 7 REAL days of Trinny's outfits-even if she wore athletic clothes all day. I wish I lived in a climate that got cold (ok, No I dont, but I love your coats) hahahaha. Florida girl!!!
I woke up at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep. So I took out a crocheted blanket I'm working on and watched Trinny style videos, one after the other. I had so much fun!!!❤❤❤
As a lifelong California resident, I am so envious of your weather in England. You can really indulge in wearing coats for months out of the year. Here, I am lucky to wear my coats for 3 months before it gets too warm for them.

Trinny, I'd love you to do a capsule wardrobe for winter 2023/4. It's great to see how you style your clothes and peek into your closet, but most of us have only a tiny fraction of the amount of clothing and space in which to store it. What we need is 1 coat that goes with everything. And, what else?? Please let us know!
I’ve worn a James Lakeland coat today that I got 15yrs ago and I still adore it. It’s orange, grey and black/brown checks; I get compliments every time I wear it from both men and women. Fab confession as always 💋

If you are a limited budget but adore coats the charity shops are fantastic, I have found so many gorgeous coats in the charity shops .

I’m grew up in Phoenix which is in the desert of Arizona USA .. very very hot … no coats needed even in the winter.. maybe a jacket. I moved to Denver Colorado and it is cold ( yay ) I was able to indulge my coat obsession.. I bet I have 50 .. so Trinny I can totally relate. I just pulled out one from the 90’s and it is back in style ❤( so happy it still fits 😅)
I love the coats, living in Ireland and dog walking calls for a more practical rain/wind proof coat, the fancy coats only get a rare outing unfortunately!!! 😅😢

Yesterday I bought a faux fur gilet at Zara. I live in LA and have no idea when I will wear it but I had to have it!!! It reminded me of you, Trinny except it’s waist length which is better for me as I am not tall!

I love coats too. Living in Scotland it can be about cold, wind and rain protection but I really related to being in another city looking at beautiful things and wearing a really great coat. I understand your love of the Celine and suede Prada. Wow. ❤❤❤

Thank you so much for the introduction to Joey the Label. What a find! Absolutely love that brand! I also really love the cape you showed us - so stunning on you. As someone who cannot wear capes due to a larger bust (makes me look like a tent!) I instead enjoy wearing wraps. My favorite right now is the Annapurna from another amazing Woman founded UK brand Cocowai. As an hourglass shape I will wear something form fitting like a wrap top or sweater from Kettlewell Colours (Yet another amazing socially conscious UK Woman owned brand). The combination (for my style type and body type) is perfect - stylish and keeps me warm. :). Also @16:17 - I LOVE bright blue on you. Seriously, how gorgeous is that color and look at how it makes your eyes ultra bright! Never underestimate the power of color.

It was stressing me out, telling me I had to get out by 9. At first I thought Trinny was in a hotel,room and I thought, how rude. Then I realised she was at home and it made more sense as she is always in the go.😂
@@jmk1962 Ohhh being out the door by 9am makes sense for the morning - I read it as 9pm instead, & thought Trinny was insinuating that guests should see themselves out after outstaying their welcome lol!

Looking amazing... I keep repeating myself but your radiance is alone... 😂 You don't need the clothing 😂😂 I gest... But coats I have more coats in my wardrobe than my years on this planet... A combination of vintage to the trend present day... Sometimes if I see something I like but quite light i just add another coat underneath with same structure to give it a better fit.... Also I have my sewing machine so I can make ... Adjustments to compliment my size... 😂 😂. I finding as get older I no longer focus on the size of garment but the fit. Also the great thing about having some great coats is that they immediately make one look put together even if your not in the mood to make effort to coordinate what lies beneath... I just keep the coat on 😂😂. ❤

who is the finance/fashionista influencer who wore the COS coat on Insta?
Another great coat brand is Sentaler. It’s lead by a Canadian female designer. Most famously worn by HRH The Princess of Wales (blue, short wool with ribbed sleeves) & The Duchess of Sussex (that long camel wrap coat). I’ve got 3 of them in different styles & colours & love them!! Great quality, warm & elegant. She did a cape early on in the company history & I found it at a consignment store for a great price!

One of my weakness I say to myself every year no more coats but it just finishes the outfit yes truly a weakness of mine and I must confess Trinny inspired me to purchase a leppard coat as well as a zebra 😅😊

I share your obsession with coats. I never wear unlined coats. As less synthetic fabrics as possible. My beige M mara slightly curled 56 % alpaca/ 44% wool coat is my nr. 1. Deep soft 100% cotton flanel pockets! Split at the back and the sides. Double breasted. Beautiful buttons. Extremely comfortable and warm. Protects against rain ( water repellent like a sheep and an alpaca ;) ) and wind. Excellent stylish in cities and countryside alike. Washable on the hand wash program. Bought it some years ago second hand in perfect condition by e*b*y straight from Milano.

I only have one proper coat living here in Sydney, a wool camel colour oversize, but I think I could wear that metallic silver coat a lot!

Aloha! I vicariously enjoyed this video. Since moving from to Blighty to Hawaii, I no longer wear coats, but I do miss wearing a coat and walking through London (sometimes). But I do NOT miss overheating in a coat on the Tube 😂

Magnificent coat collection - enjoy! Too hot in SA for anything as exquisite. That pinstripe Cos with scarf attached looks like a man's dressing gown imho. Prada duffel and all the others have your Trinny factor 🙂

I have 3 fave coats (do I want more?? Yes bc it's an obsession, do I need it no) but the 3 are
•My charcoal MaxMara oversized (founded preloved under 🥁🥁 100€) 11y ago before MaxMara had the teddy coat which is 10y, & they became bigger than big
•my Alpaca trifted with such a cool collat , straight fit , long but wished was longer in camel color
•100% cashmere fleamarket find a shade darker then the camel & more rounded shoulders & Peter Pan collar
