Thanks for a great update, I don't have a specific motif that I look for, but I love finding an ornament pattern that I think someone in my family will love or suits their personal style, habits, hobbies, etc. I try to make an ornament for my niece and nephew each year and when I find something that I think they will love, it makes it that much more fun to stitch.
Fun Flosstube gals! Love your finishes and wips, very cool. I enjoy Christmas and winter stitching a lot and can do it off and on all year. I don’t t have a favorite “thing” that I stitch more then others. Whatever calls to me at Christmas 🎄
Hello Jennifer and Carol I always enjoy your stitching and quilting. Happy Christmas! My favorite thing to stitch for the Christmas/winter season (I reside in Ak so winter is long) is trees. You both get so much done very inspirational. 🎄🌲🪡🧵💚❤
I love to stitch poinsettia - they remind me of my Granny...she loved them. I love your videos - thank you both so much for sharing. Merry Christmas to you from Perth Western Australia xxxx
Love seeing your progress. I enjoy stitching a variety of Christmas designs. I enjoy stitching Santas and Christmas trees. I don't like snowflakes as much because here December is in summer. I do love Christmas mill Hill kits
So fun to watch your videos! Thank you so much of giving of yourselves and sharing! The mystery quilts are so pretty and fun. Your stitching is beautiful and I am just so enabled! Can’t wait to see you in a couple of weeks and definitely want to see more of the fam if possible! My favorite stitching is any Christmas and I love winter snowy scenes. Love you guys……..!!!, Karen in Tulsa
I never really thought about what i love to stitch the most. I think it might be Christmas with bright colors. Normally Ive always stitched for others and am just now starting to stich for me and do more random things. 🙂
I love Christmas, but I tend to go toward snowflakes. I have a whole collection of Christmas quilts, but then I also have a whole collection of snowflake quilts that stay out in January. February 1st all the Valentine quilts come out.
Hard to pick one favorite motif to stitch for Christmas/ winter, but my favorite color is red, so probably a cardinal or something with red berries would be my favorite. Carol, that's too bad about the fabric on your wedding stitch! Can I recommend the Lori Holt Unstitcher tool for when you have to pick all of that thread out? Normally I don't go for these extra little frou-frou gadgets, but I have to say, that little tool was a game changer for me! It's not as thin as a needle, so it lifts the floss out easier without snagging, and the handle allows for a good, weighted grip, so it doesn't go flying when you're removing threads. Oddly, I find frogging equally as relaxing as stitching, as long as I schedule a "frogging session" prior to a stitching session😊 Weird, I know. Jenn, I love your Mill Hill camping piece! I've got one myself that I'm looking forward to stitching. And I'm so glad you're going to start those Hinzeit reindeer! They're beautiful! They're going to look gorgeous when they're all done! I'm looking forward to seeing your progress with them😊
Thank you for another great video. Love watching your channel. I have sent an email and thank you so much. I am most definitely a Santa person. I love snowmen but there’s just too much white for me - obviously!! Happy stitching.
Hi girls!loved your floss tube as always ❤I used to Love to stitch snowman and snowflakes. But now that I have moved south to Hot springs, Arkansas from up north Nebraska South Dakota in Wisconsin, I have changed over to basically trees. Thanks again for your gifts and your work
In case you do not make another video, Happy Birthday Carol, I hope you enjoy a lot this special day!!! All your finishes are beautiful. it is a pleasure to watch your videos!!!
Oh No, measuring wrong or fabric in the wrong direction can happen, Ugh! I'd save that fabric too. This month I'm stitching gingerbread men & when I feel like stitching white floss it's Snowflakes.
I liked stitching reindeer until the day after Thanksgiving when a large buck hit the windshield and roof of the car of my daughter and her family were driving in on the Interstate to her home from my home. So now I'll just say I enjoy stitching snowflakes!
Thank God they are all okay. the driver was our son-in-law who had previous experience with deers (this was #4 and all in Pennsylvania) so he did pull safely off the road. They now live in NC so thankfully we were close enough to help with car rental etc. Their car was eventually towed to NC so they can supervise repairs of windshield and roof. $18,000 in damages. It was scary!
Jennifer and Carol! Greetings from Dallas!! Another really enjoyable flosstube!! My favorite winter motif is snowflakes! Love the winter quakers that have snowflakes in them. ❄️❄️❄️
Love the quilt shown. I never thought I liked orange fabric, but I made a Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt with lots of oranges in it and it's a favorite of mine. It's hard to choose a favorite Christmas item to stitch, but I think it's got to be snowmen. Thanks for another great video.
I like to stitch Santa and unusual animals wearing Christmas attire. e.g. hedgehogs, turtles, llamas, you get the idea! Love all your stitching. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hi Carol and Jennifer, another great episode with beautiful stitching and quilting. I like any winter or Christmas piece preferably with a snowman. Happy Stitching and Quilting. ❤❤❤
I’m loving your temperature chart in that it’s not month specific, like a motif per month. My daughter is getting married March 16th, so I think it would be neat to do from the 17th through to their first anniversary. Then put “our first year” or something in the middle. Thanks for the inspiration!!!
When I stitch up and down going down I turn my piece upside down so basically it’s the same motion as when it isn’t upside down! Maybe that helps a little? Love all you do ladies and oh my that orange quilt is beautiful❤ love it all and so happy princess came home for a quick visit! Oh my favorite thing to stitch this year has been snowmen! I am in the Annie beez snowman club so each month one comes to stitch kitted minus the floss and it’s been so fun! ❤oh Jenn I have never seen the Heinzet reindeer but I think they are beautiful ❤I can not wait to see them stitched! Love your finishes and ffo’s ladies! Blessings! 😊
You did make me laugh with the mention of wine! So great that Jenna was able to come home for Thanksgiving! I am going to find a Lizzie Kate to sal with you. I have at least 2 complete series - the Jingles and the Tingles. and many Tiny Tidings. I looked at my stitched ornament tree and i think my favorite winter/Christmas thing to stitch is birds. I hope the last 2 weeks of December are filled with joy and peace for you and your families. Happy Birthday to Carol! xx
I love snowmen. I have stitched many ornaments, stockings and framed pieces. Mainly Stoney Creek with the back stitching, which I don't mind. I think back stitching makes the picture come alive. When I discovered flosstube and all of the other designers, I am broadening out my stitching and definitely my purchasing. Trying to stitch non snowmen but I getting the snowman itch with the cold weather starting.
Love all the stitching and finishes. What a great surprise having your granddaughter come for a short visit. I love to stitch Christmas I stitch a lot of Santas.
Thank you for sharing all your fun projects!! 💚 I don't know if I have a particular holiday/winter theme that is my favorite. If I chose something, I would say Santa. But I love more general winter things too!!😊 Good luck fitting that answer into a chart🤣😂🤣
Another fun episode! Happy to hear Cindy is doing well in her new family ❤ To answer the question- While I do have some Christmas “characters” I tend towards winter scenes rather than individual elements. I do tend to grab larger pieces. Have a great Christmas 🎄
As usual, y'all are so much fun to watch and your stitches are lovely. If there's a vote afoot, I think a video with eggnog would be a winner, especially as if it's "better than wine" I suspect your eggnog is like mine and may have a little something extra to rev it up. ☺ I'm glad The Princess could come home for Thanksgiving -- and what a grand surprise for Carol to have her show up for lunch! I don't have a favorite for winter/Christmas stitching. I like it all! Although . . . . snowmen are good because I leave them out for longer. The overtly Christmas stuff has to go back in the boxes a couple months before the snowmen are packed up. Merry Christmas, y'all!!
Haha, we should have made that our question of the day - should we film after having a few eggnoggs? Ours has more "something extra" than the regular ingredients - it is an old family recipe and sooo good!
I think my favorite Christmas motif is the stocking or the tree…my least favorite is the snowflake particularly white on white…then I get out the bead. I hope you enjoy the advent season.
I love stitching Christmas patterns but really stay away from snowflakes! And don’t stitch snowmen in general. Sorry Carol. Live in phoenix but even if I lived in Mo again I doubt I would.
After 51 years, we went out earlier today to look at artificial trees. Came home with nothing. Plan is to buy a real one on Thursday. I enjoy stitching anything Christmas related. The brighter the colors, the better.
I enjoy stitching Christmas. Looking around my house now, I obviously love Santas.😁Working on Prairie Schooler Santas for my grandkids, at this time. Thanks for sharing all your work. Gives me great ideas moving forward!!
Stitching mommies has a temperature chart with turtles that is really cute. Beautiful projects and I am so happy Cindy is doing well. I am a snowman person.
Hi Ladies- Sweet video, as usual! Love the quilt, Carol and I love orange! I love to stitch Santas and Snowmen for Christmas stitching. Melisa of Pinker 'n Punkin has such wonderful designs and she is so generous! I mentioned Two Tall Stitchers at one of the Midwestern tables during Jingle Ball. I have plenty of Lizzie Kate patterns so I should join you in the stitchalong. Merry Christmas Carol, Jennifer, and Cindy❤
Your finishes are so pretty, and Jenn, your framed finish is so beautiful. I always love that you both do so many gifts for other people or family members. I think that's so nice to give someone something handmade and you come up with so many great ideas. I'm not in the mood to stitch anything Christmas this year but plan to do some next year for sure. When I do stitch winter or Christmas, I love to stitch Christmas florals with pretty ivy and vines and trees, and I'm always drawn to pretty little tiny houses with tiny wreaths on the front door. Thank you for another great flosstube and wishing a happy Christmas season.
I am definitely a snowman person. I absolutely love your Forever in Peace stitch. I have that one in my stash and I am going to have to pull that out now. :) I may be crazy but it looked like there was a stitch missing at the end of row 4. It looks like a brown stitch is missing but I could be wrong. Can't wait for your next video! Have a great Holiday Season!
I enjoy stitching woodland scenes; try to avoid Santa as I try not to change too many decoration until February. Jenn I’ve been searching for that Prairie Schooler canoe Santa for my grandson… good for you!!
My favorite is Christmas but a snowman is a close second. Thank you for sharing your stitching with us. Wishing you both and your families a Merry Christmas. Stay safe and healthy. Enjoy your time with family and friends. ⛄🎄⛄🎄⛄🎄💚
Another fun ep, thanks! My favorite Winter/Christmas motives to stitch are Santas and reindeer. My least favorite to stitch (but I ❤ the fo,) are the snowflakes. I’m a very seasonal stitcher and I’m all in for Christmas right now! A Christmas Eve ep would be wonderful! Either way, have a Merry Christmas and happy stitching!
I want to wish you both Happy Holidays!!! I’m not a seasonal or holiday stitcher but I enjoy seeing the stitched reindeer best. I’m glad Cindy is acclimating so quickly and nicely.
Anytime anyone mentioned in a Stitching Room at the Jingle Ball that 2024 was going to be their year to fully-finish things, I reminded them to follow your FlossTube and to go back and watch all of 2023 for ideas. ❤️😉
You two make me laugh! I enjoy your FT so much! As always, the quilt is Gorgeous! Love, love the oranges, it is one of my faves, next to Purple😊 I have a floss question that perhaps you could answer or take a poll. I am primarily a DMC floss girl. I have been disappointed in Weeks, price/limited yardage and wear and tear when frogging. I like Classic Colorworks and Ive tried a silk, same issues = cost, yardage and frogging = the silk was not meant to be removed but boy does it feel nice to stitch with! This has led me to a dyer who uses DMC base with an ample 20 yards, but it is not colorfast. I am so used to laundering my finished pieces. So what do others do? Just not hand wash period? So my favorite Winter to stitch is snow scenes: houses, foxes, owls, cardinals. Basically outdoor scenes!❤
I never wash my pieces stitched with overdyed threads - and honestly don't really ever wash my pieces stitched with DMC. I figure most of my pieces are not meant as heirloom pieces so if some oils impact the stitching because I didn't wash it, that's okay - as long as it was displayed during my lifetime!
I finished my large Dimensions Nativity, and most of the rest of my winter things are snowmen. They are adorable and last the whole time through April around here. Brrrr.
I like all Christmas, but I think I like Santa and evergreen trees the best! I really enjoy your flosstubes, thank you so much for sharing!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I ♥️ Christmas but I mostly stitch snow people and trees. ⛄️ 🌲 That said, I did a beautiful reindeer that I really like, so think there will be more reindeer in my future stitching. 🦌 Loved your National Parks finish Jen!
So loved the video, so many beautiful finishes❤ I have lived in the southern states from where I live now in NC to CA...so I just don't stitch Winter... truthfully...why ? It's December 4th and 70° here at the beach! 😂 No, kidding a side, I am a traditional stitcher and love to stitch samplers and lovely patriotic, Christmas. I really love it all & just keep it to what I will use or gift. Merry Christmas 🎄
I like to stitch Santas for Christmas. It could be Prairie Schooler or cutesy Lizzie Kate but love my Santas. Stitching snowmen is just too much white for me and I don't like the way my white stitches look. Today on Lori's flosstube "Once upon a stitch", she mentioned your wipgo board of finishing items and how she was also going to do that also. Great idea Jen!
Awe, Carol what a sweet name for your new dog. I have a few charts that are a series if I could only commit to doing one of them next year. I guess it depends on whether or not I have the fabric to do any of them. Thank you both for a lovely video. Lots of eye candy to look at. Wishing you both a very Merry Christmas! I have a collection of a few reindeer charts so perhaps that is my favorite, idk. 🎄🎀🎄🎀🎄
Merry Christmas to you both! My mom and I both share our quilting and cross stitch hobby. Are you guys members of any local guilds or stitching groups? I've been thinking of joining and since you're both local I thought I would ask. So happy I met Carol at PS and she shared your flosstube with me. As for the question, I like stitching anything Christmas but I think Santa might be my fav. Glad to hear Cindy is doing well!!!!
We were both active members of the quilt guild for many years and really enjoyed it - while we haven't joined any of the stitching groups, Mom does have a weekly stitch group.
Hemming curtains as they hang at my back sliding patio doors. I can’t wait to finish so I can go work on my counter cross stitch “post office” From “Little House of Needleeorks”
Thank you for sharing so many beautiful projects Carol and Jennifer! That was just delightful to see all of your stitching. I was LMAO when you had the "wine conversation." I say blame it on Cindy! 🤣For the holiday I enjoy stitching Santa. I like to watch them come to life on the fabric. Carol, I hope you have a very happy birthday! I can't remember what you want to do--I forgot. But Jennifer? Looks like you better pick a better day this coming year! LOL Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to both of you!
I’ve enjoyed watching all of your finishes this year. Lots of inspiration. For those of us too “chicken” to finish our own, where oh where do we find “FINISHERS” for hire and where do we find pricing?
Thanks for the thoughtful mention, ladies. It’s Mike Stephens, Not Your Average Quilter. He was a brilliant designer, he was just coming into some long overdue recognition. There will be such a hole left behind in our quilting community. 😢
Love Bonnie Hunter mystery quilts. It was the first quilt I ever made.
Great episode as always, I love snowman & snowflakes. I like all winter/Christmas stitching too.
I love ⛄️ ❄️ and reindeer!
Love the orange quilt! The colors really pop! I stitch anything Christmas with no specific theme or type. Just whatever catches my eye.
I love to stitch snowmen and winter! I don’t mind stitching all the white! Great plans Jennifer! Great video!
My favorite winter/holiday motif is a cardinal.
Hi ladies. Thank you for the fun update. ⚘️
I like to stitch birds.
I think I like stitching greenery with ornaments or candles in it
I love stitching Christmas but especially any Santa I can find!
I love the temperature chart.
Fun Flosstube gals! Love your finishes and wips, very cool. I enjoy Christmas and winter stitching a lot and can do it off and on all year. I don’t t have a favorite “thing” that I stitch more then others. Whatever calls to me at Christmas 🎄
This was a tough one to answer, but I think I like stitching winter birds.
Hello Jennifer and Carol
I always enjoy your stitching and quilting.
Good video. I enjoy stitching anything Christmas but I love stitching Santas. As I was watching your video I was stitching a PS Santa ornament.
Hi! Great catching up with you and seeing all those beautiful finishes and stitching! Happy stitching! Lori
Love you guys……..!!!,

I never really thought about what i love to stitch the most. I think it might be Christmas with bright colors. Normally Ive always stitched for others and am just now starting to stich for me and do more random things. 🙂

I have the Handi Quilter sit down Sweet 16. I love it.
I do enjoy stitching Santa pieces the best. Love your Flosstube! It’s always fun
Thanks for the wonderful visit...I love to stitch anything Christmas...loved all that you shared...best wishes ❤❤
First time watching and enjoying it.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks again for your gifts and your work
I am not really a Christmas stitcher I do stitch Winter. My favorite theme is ⛄️ Snowmen. So I have had a lot of practice stitching with white floss.
In case you do not make another video, Happy Birthday Carol, I hope you enjoy a lot this special day!!! All your finishes are beautiful. it is a pleasure to watch your videos!!!
I have a Mill Hill Turkey I started. I do not enjoy beading. It is a 5”x5” in paper but I switched it to 11 count Aida which I dyed a light lime.
Thank you for sharing. I just found you again on youtube so glad that i did.
Glad you found us!
Oh my gosh, that had to be scary! Hope they are all okay and the car isn't totaled.
I didn't think I had one but then I remembered all the Santa patterns I have.
Jennifer and Carol! Greetings from Dallas!! Another really enjoyable flosstube!! My favorite winter motif is snowflakes! Love the winter quakers that have snowflakes in them. ❄️❄️❄️
Love the reindeer! You must do Rudolf And maybe you will change your mind and do Rudolf and the sleigh.
I love stitching Christmas. My fav is Santa closely followed by snowmen!
Thank you! I always enjoy you videos and watch from beginning to end. Hope your holidays are the best ever.
Thanks Gwen - have a great holiday season!
Snowmen are always my favourite to stitch!
Christmas trees are my favorite holiday item to stitch. Lizzie Kate has been one of my favorite designers for many years! 🪡🪡🪡
Oh my goodness!! Today’s quilt is GORGEOUS, Carol!!!!
I like to stitch Santa, but recently got into mini stockings. I found Lizzie Kate and JBW have many I like and want to do. Merry Christmas.
Thanks for the sewing method tip - I might have to try that!
We need to see the three quilt tops, Jennifer! I enjoy you ladies. Happy Holidays!!
Stay tuned, they'll be coming soon!
Great video ladies, my favorite stitch is a snowman and in general I like Christmas stitching. Merry Christmas to you both.
Haha, thanks for making me figure that one out ;)
Love your flosstube! I love snowmen but hate stitching white 🤷♀️. I love Christmas and patriotic stitching too.
Another fun episode! Happy to hear Cindy is doing well in her new family ❤ To answer the question- While I do have some Christmas “characters” I tend towards winter scenes rather than individual elements. I do tend to grab larger pieces. Have a great Christmas 🎄

I like all things Christmas. I recently finished the 12 Days of Christmas. I can't pick one motif.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.
Merry Christmas Janey - thanks for the mention in the Jingle Ball and hope you do join us for the Lizzie Kate sal!
Your finishes are so pretty, and Jenn, your framed finish is so beautiful. I always love that you both do so many gifts for other people or family members. I would have to say snowmen would be me number one with reindeer or elves/santa right behind that.
I enjoy stitching woodland scenes; try to avoid Santa as I try not to change too many decoration until February. Jenn I’ve been searching for that Prairie Schooler canoe Santa for my grandson… good for you!!
I am a serial Prairie School Santa starter!
That is an awesome name for your new pup. My favorite are trees. Any kind of tree, Christmas trees, pine trees any kind.
I want to wish you both Happy Holidays!!! I’m not a seasonal or holiday stitcher but I enjoy seeing the stitched reindeer best. I’m glad Cindy is acclimating so quickly and nicely.
Thank you and hope you have a great holiday season!
I love stitching winter things, but it’s a toss up between snowmen and gingerbread. Love seeing all of your beautiful stitches. ❤️
You had so many great projects to share today! I'm glad you had a nice thanksgiving and can't wait to see what you get up to in the new year!
Another great video! I don’t have a favorite holiday character, but if I had to choose it would Santa!
Anytime anyone mentioned in a Stitching Room at the Jingle Ball that 2024 was going to be their year to fully-finish things, I reminded them to follow your FlossTube and to go back and watch all of 2023 for ideas. ❤️😉
Aww, thank you!
I enjoy stitching Christmas but come January I like to stitch snowmen. Early Happy Birthday Carol. Merry Christmas to you both and all of your family.
Love stitching winter quakers. Would love to see photos of Cindy.
Hi Linda - we shared pictures of Cindy in the last episode - #46.
You two make me laugh! I enjoy your FT so much! As always, the quilt is Gorgeous! Love, love the oranges, it is one of my faves, next to Purple😊
I have a floss question that perhaps you could answer or take a poll.
Thank you! And now I want to know which reindeer you stitched?
Kathy Barrick’s Heaven and Nature Sing! She has some other nice reindeer charts. 🦌
Oh, thanks for letting us know that Lori mentioned us, I am glad she's going to do FFO WIPGO, I have really enjoyed it.
I will be starting Lizzy Kate's Halloween Rules in 2024 as well 😊
Yay!
I think i'm a winter stitcher but I do stitch all the other.
I'm so excited to stitch with both of you next year! It's going to be a fun SAL. I love the halloween chart. Hope you both have a wonderful holiday!
I enjoy doing seasonal holiday counted cross stitch now.
Love the cork with gold triangles
Hemming curtains as they hang at my
back sliding patio doors. I can’t wait to finish so I can go work on my counter cross stitch “post office”

“Little House of Needleeorks”
I love Holly leaf designs with berries
Thank you for sharing so many beautiful projects Carol and Jennifer! That was just delightful to see all of your stitching. I was LMAO when you had the "wine conversation." I say blame it on Cindy! 🤣For the holiday I enjoy stitching Santa. I like to watch them come to life on the fabric. Carol, I hope you have a very happy birthday! I can't remember what you want to do--I forgot. But Jennifer? Looks like you better pick a better day this coming year! LOL Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to both of you!
I think I better pick a day before the end of this year ;)
To work down in the sewing method, turn your work upside down 😊
I’ve enjoyed watching all of your finishes this year.
So true Cindy - very sad to lose him.
Angels-year round
