Good callout about the bug in Mac OS regarding the dock placement when you have the external monitor set as your main display and it's positioned above your macbook. There appears to be no quick way to get it to display the dock the bottom of your external monitor. I've also seen the solution offered of dragging your cursor at the bottom of the external monitor and let it sit for a few seconds, or pull it to the bottom right of the screen, but that no longer seems to work. I've found that if I simply use my laptop for about 5 minutes, the dock will suddenly pop up at the bottom of my external monitor. I wish there was a quicker fix.
i just accidentaly found the solution... just put your mouse in the left bottom corner, and hold it for few sec, the dock shoud jump back to the top monitor
thanks a lot buddy. coming from windows i really was confused on how to make this work and your video made it look so easy.
Nice tutorial!
Thank you!!
Thanks !!
Tip: to rotate your macbook screen go to settings menu while holding the alt key. Boom!

I'm glad you figured out a workaround, that 5 minutes trick is helpful!
What about the keyboard? If I’m wanting to connect another keyboard to both the Mac & monitor
Is a docking station necessary or can I just connect the macbook directly into the monitor?
If you have the available ports it is nonessential. He’s using one because he has a MacBook Air which doesn’t have the right ports
I found a solution to the dock problem. put your mouse in the left corner for a couple of seconds and the dock should move to the top!

Hallo, please help me on my chatgpt app. I am using a Mac mini M2 and when I upload photos, nothing appears and the application crashes immediately.
I’d try uninstalling and reinstall the app and see if that works
