- Another glitch I found but this time to finish the Vettel challenge on Monza in gold. But be warned this glitch is not as easy as it looks and you need a lot of practice.
The glitch only works with update 1.10 hence you have to downgrade if you want to use the glitch and before I receive another million questions on how to downgrade here is how it works:
Delete the GT5 game data in the game data utility folder on your ps3 and then start the game. Now download and install all updates up to the sixth one which is 1.10. As soon as update 7 starts (got 62 MB) press the circle button to cancel. That's it.
Keep in mind that you lose everything that is saved in the game data (pictures, replays and thumbnails). No need to say that you can't go online with GT5 if you play on an older version.
Always keep a backup copy of your savefile on a USB-stick just to be on the safe side.

This actually made me mad because i tried so hard and only ever got bronzes

Mastering this glitch was about as difficult as completing it legitimately the first time lol. Finally got it though. Great set of glitch vids. Thanks!
After 4 yrs. of not playing this game with only the Vettel challenges left, I thought I'd give this a try since I don't have a wheel. IT DOES WORK but, there's a catch. Like GSD808 said, use 1.10 but, you have to use the first generation game. You CAN NOT use the gold edition or the XL edition. I used the Special Edition that came with the Nissian GTR. The hardest part is getting backed up into the barrier in a timely manner but, watch the video. Look where and when he turn's the car. Especially on the map and, you won't have any trouble with it. After about 10 times of trying I was able to get it. By far this is the hardest of the 3 challenges. It's a great video and, thanks for the help!

Ok thanks sir, I just golded Monza on my own thanks to your video, but I almost blew a vessel so I will use the glitch for the other two because I don't think I can take the insanity. I have offloaded the replays and pictures and will go for it.
@MCinterceptor Yes, When you restart the game it will ask to update. Either press o to cancel and play on your current version or x to update to the latest update.

Hardest Vettel challenge to glitch for sure! But it's totally worth the time & effort!
Thanks a lot for letting us know! The best I could do was a SIlver time using a DS3.
What are the cars and racing helmets/suits that i can use? Also, what are the wallpapers i can set from previous patches? Do i have to change the outfits of the b-spec drivers too? Pls help. And THX A LOT for the vids. =)

@GSD808 Lol. These videos are great, very nice work :) Monza's taking me a while, but the nurb wasn't too bad. I have no idea how you came up with these paths though :P
Sounds good, by on top of the garage you mean the last car I used that was premium. I will now delete the data. I assume the nurb 24hr glitch shortcut was at this patch 1.10 as well because the two remaining Vettel golds and the 24hours of Nurburging are all I have left.
@hectormusic111 You need to cross over in less than 5 secs, keep full speed while turning, slow down on other side.

Do you have any tips for not getting DQ'd while under the map? My biggest rough spot is where you spin around to go across the start/finish. I seem to be close to where you are yet either get booted to the track or DQ'd. Any secrets/tips on this part? Is there a shorter way around the track after glitching? In my opinion, this glitch is roughly the same difficultly level as doing the track properly!
When you delete your game data, do you have to redo all the other golds in the game, or what resets besides the replays, photos and such?
Hey, habe mit Hilfe deiner Videos schon Nürburgring und Suzuka auf gold gemacht, vielen dank. Leider schaffe ich monza nicht so recht, hast du noch ein paar Tipps für mich? Werde bei der Stelle wo ich versuche rechts neben den start zu fahren nachdem ich knapp neben der strecke war immer zurück gesetzt. Mfg
If you gold all 3 on first try, do you get all 3 prizecars then? Or must you get bronze, silver then gold?
In the description you make it look hard, but believe me, this is easier!! XD

From the 3 vettel glitches ive been only able to do the suzuka one. the others i cant seem to glitch through the walls. ive been trying for hours now :(

I can get past 0:58 but then when i go threw the fence and go to the other side it resets me to the other side. Any tips like the fence tip?

hi m8, my latest download was version 1.12 so i deleted my utilty but how do i download just up 2 version 1.10 so i can do this glitch?

@GSD808 I did it and the three challenges are golded when I updated to the latest version the three redbull's say "the car is not installed please re install it" what shoud I do ? Plz help
On PS3 I deleted and updated my game till number 7 started then pressed circle and it didn't work so I checked and it said I had v2.05???

The hardest Gold License was IC-10 for me and that only took 45 mins. I tried this more than 5 hours. I wonder if i shud go get a wheel and try this the proper way. Let me know if its easier.
It works, but is kind of trick make the car go "off screen", and the time you manage to do it, it takes 1 minute. Prefer borrow someone´s X2010 instead.

@GSD808 i got it right now, thanks :-) i actually completed 2 "glitch laps" - but i was not able to beat the gold time... a little more practice and i'll beat this track

New update I got two bronze trophy's, you need tons of practice to do it.
I cant even get out of the map enough to try the next part. I must have tried like 20 times and got through like 3 times and i keep getting bumped back up.
@SuperPaperWorld bro just follow the road until you see all the corner on the mini map, then you can cut the corner :0 if you cant see the whole corner you cant cut it.

Darf ich Glitchbitch sagen ? ^^ Es ist echt schwer die "Lücken" zu treffen, da man sonst wieder auf die strecke geschmissen wird. gibts da evtl. was ich genau beachten muss ? so dich an der strecke nach der 1 zeitmessung hapert bei mir.
Und bis ich gemerkt habe, dass erst hinten das chassis und dann vorne in der wand verschwinden müssen, vergingen auch viele tests ._.

Thing is the poster doesnt explain how to get thru the fence efficiently. I spend 90% of the time trying to get thru the fence. It didnt even take me an hour to do IC-10 or IB-3 but this glitch has me trying 4 hours and i still cant get it.

Im not shaming anyone for finding this challenge difficult, but i got this gold legit after 10 minutes.
All you need to do is cut the della roggia (chicane 2) twice, and i got gold by 1.5 seconds.

this is all updated, there are no more glitches
getting into the entry point is not that hard. my problem is as soon as i'm trying to stay near the track at 0:58 the game resets me to the track. i can't even complete one "glitch lap" :-(
god that is hard. just managed to do it after about 3-4 hours of trying. You need to practice, practice, practice on the entry through the railings. As parallel as you can be is good. I think the front wheel is the key to releasing you backwards for the final maneouvre into the glitch zone. I managed to get inside of the glitch zone within 30 seconds in the end so had a bit of a luxury drive round in the end. Finished with a time of 1.55.550. good luck people. Keep plugging away and you'll do it

@AntoniovandeWalle I tried like 3 hours, finally got all the way to the end but the 2nd lap wouldnt register. I just wont know what to do now. I too fking hate those guys at PD. Its impossible to do this with DS3

Lol after 4 more hours of trying I got too the second lap and it reset me when i got close to the finish line to golding.. my hand was shaking lol but im getting really good at it its a matter of time. What ill fkn do for a virtual car.

GT5 Vettel challenge gold i can`t do the glitch so i had to it on 1.12 i gas you can`t do it on 1.12 :( all i can say it really head on 1.12

This fkn glitch is just as hard as golding it. I can get in the underground thing easy then i dont know what to do.
well this is great. im doing everything like you are and my fucking car wont go in. and when it does, its fucking passed a minute already. this will result in a broken controller in a few more tries.
I just managed to do it after like 5 hours of trying but i got 2:06 bronze lol. Fuck. I've come to the point where i'd pay people to do this for me.
