I've just done this so its working. Just follow the instructions and with a bit of time and effort you'll get there. Just copy exactly what the video shows.
I appreciate you showing us the glitch. I'm sure it's helped a lot of people. Shame it no longer works in 2.0 or above. And I don't want to risk losing everything I've worked for, for one challenge though.

@GSD808 Ok, the challenge was intended to seperate the noobs from the pro's. I myself am an average driver and managed to get a bronze on all 3 tracks, this is just a kick in the balls for us who acheived this without cheating.

OMG... Just when i was about to give up on getting 100% trophies on GT5 i came across this!!! My question is can you save can you back up your data on USB then do the down grade and get golds then put the old data back on or would that remove the golds? would i have to get 100% with the down grade if i was going for 100%?
I can get in the glitch on occasion but HTF are you getting the laps to count? Do you know where u need to drive to get the laps to count for this? Been trying for a couple hours, so GDamn frustrating, even with the glitch, LOL!

Hi I followed your videos on how to cheat to get the Red Bull X2010 on Vettels challange. I opened the car and was using it fine. But when i re-downloaded the updates i am now unable to use the car. There is a red message saying (Red Bull X2010 is not installed, Please re-install it). Is this because i wasn't supposed to open the car in car delivery on the old version? Because while i was on version 1.10 i also won a b-spec car and i am unable to use that car too.
can you tell me what i'm doing wrong, everytime i get through the hole and cross the finish line my car gets reset or im just flying through the air(suzuka). any help will be appreciated.
K, got this now, got through the wall 3 times, there wasnt any system at all, just got through sometimes. 1st time: immediately DQ'ed, 2nd time: got reset to track by some reason, 3rd time: 1.42! thanks for the vid, you really opened a change for me getting this plat!:)
if u downgrade do u loose your cars or your gold trophies like if u've done the 24 hours races and got gold will u loose that? cause if u only losse pictures and replays then i don't care xD please answer mate

How the hell do you manage to get off track? I can't do it, I succeeded once in maybe a hundred tries, but then it was already 3 minutes, so no point in it... I've done it in Suzuka, and there I had to do it like 20 times because I kept getting put back on track. What's your advice for staying off-track? What's causing the game to put you back?

You have probably some DLC of the last update and it's doesn't work on 1.10. You have to select a car which was avaiable on the 1.10 update before the downgarde. If you do that, it should work.
It worked for me! It took me about 5 attempts to achieve, but it was worth it! Edit: I opened up the cars on the sixth update, I installed all the other updates, but it keeps showing a message that the red bull cars aren’t installed. Please help!

Deleted my game data and reinstalled only to eventually realise my academy edition copy has version 2.07 on the disc.
Never getting that time back.

I know it's late for the party, but how do you activate the "-:--:--" markings? Those don't show up for me neither in Nurburgring, nor in Suzuka.

@raydavid300 all you have to do is get bronze. they even lowered the time so people can do it. golding them all gets you the prototype
