GT5 Vettel challenge nürburgring gold glitch update
I made a new video with a fixed map. I am also driving an easier and slightly faster route this time.
The glitch only works with update 1.10 hence you have to downgrade if you want to use the glitch and before I receive another million questions on how to downgrade here is how it works:
Delete the GT5 game data in the game data utility folder on your ps3 and then start the game. Now download and install all updates up to the sixth one which is 1.10. As soon as update 7 starts (got 62 MB) press the circle button to cancel. That's it.
Keep in mind that you lose everything that is saved in the game data (pictures, replays and thumbnails). No need to say that you can't go online with GT5 if you play on an older version.
Always keep a backup copy of your savefile on a USB-stick just to be on the safe side.

Sorry, guys this is not the epic de la sarthe 24 hours race glitch you are waiting for. However you can save a little bit of time with this glitch. I don't think there is a way to find a big shortcut on de la sarthe just because of the simple layout of the track. Here is an easy to use glitch for the a-spec nürburgring endurance races (4 hours and 24 hours). Just drive 25-30 laps by using the glitch (shouldn't take much longer than 10min.) and then wait until the 4 hours are over. Im not shaming anyone for finding this challenge difficult, but i got this gold legit after 10 minutes. All you need to do is cut the della roggia (chicane 2) twice, and i got gold by 1.5 seconds.

Right when i got into the glitch, i got immediatly spawned back on track, why did that happen? I have the Vanilla GT5 Disc and playing on Update 2.17

Deleted my game data and reinstalled only to eventually realise my academy edition copy has version 2.07 on the disc. Never getting that time back.
It works now in 2023 😅 But needs some practice (be careful to not to lose any check point in the road and to by-pass the glitch point, also there is no need to go very fast, because time is enogh below than need and you should control your car to not go out of road too much) i did some hours practice and git the trophy on 14th August 2023.🙏.
no me pasa, cuando no lo actualizo, si o si tengo que instalar algo en el disco duro para iniciar el juego y se me pone la actualización 1.13 directamente, no tengo forma de jugarlo en la versión 1.10, cómo hiciste?
Aclaro que hice eso, de detener las actualizaciones antes de instalar una actualización posterior al 1.10, pero si o si se me instala el 1.13, y eso que le desactivo el internet
@@Juan-pn4mm I had the same issue as you. You probably have the Platinum release of the game, or something similar. This version of the game is a later release that comes with update 1.13 on the disk. If you want to do this glitch, you will need an older disk with the original 1.00 version of the game, then update that one to 1.10.

I know it's late but I'm trying this and I can go off the map using the glitch but I can't make the game register the lap time, try going all over the circuit but every time I pass the start line the clock keeps going, so how do you do it?
Sorry I have no answer for you but how did you back to 1.10 ? once Ive installed 1.10, cancel the download and launch the game it get stuck on logo screen. Thank you
@@FangioElChueco1955 I did as said in the video description, deleted all my gt5 data then redownloaded the updates and stopped at the 6th one(installed it then canceled the next one) after that I rebooted the game and it worked for me, game launched normally and doesn't get stuck. I'm gonna try the hard way anyway got tired of wasting time trying with the glitch

I have the same issue… I installed the game from scratch and without any updates it installs v1.13… so, did a bit of research and couldn’t find any info about this but it seems that at some point pre-patched games where sold in the original packaging…

I decided to try this and have deleted the game data but every time I load the game it just starts and doesn't start updating. I know it had uninstalled as it says installing when I'm on the gran turismo 5 home screen. Did this happen to anyone else. I'm sorry to message here but I'm honestly totally confused? It says the software is up to date on the ps3 even though I know it's not?

If you actually want to plat the game, you should Gold vettel if possible, or downgrading the version....but it's too risky

I got 2:10:037 and decided it was enough that i proved myself I'm not going to try again so I did finish it with the glitch.

@@maurice638 No, you need a disk version of the game and that disk version must be the original one, I mean It must not be a Academy Edition or Platinum Edition with gray case or red case etc etc. If you have the original version disk you can remove game data (does not remove save data) and stop the update after the glitchy patch
I deleted all my DLC cars then I downgraded and im still getting this PRESENT_202_A then it keeps taking me to a black screen FFS
Cool trick but you can also just give that car to your B-Spec driver and let him do it legit. Works for unlocking trophies too.

I've just done this so its working. This was by far the easiest. Just do what the video shows and you'll be good. I got it on my 2nd attempt. Got thrown back onto the course on the first go.
