that’s just come in the right time. I am ordering a Laser machine S9 and I am waiting to ship it to me. you give us some ideas now. I am old-school like you no idea how this things work Thanks chad 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Be patient with yourself trying to learn the software. That was the most frustrating thing for me. And show me some pictures when you make something. 🙂
@@ChadStanton of course I will 👌👌👌👌❤️❤️❤️
Woodworking with LASERs. Who'd of thunk it? Now we just need 5 mega-watt laser to pop our pop-corn. Very cool lamp also. Thank for show us your new cool tool.
Hahaha I never thought or that. Cooking my lunch with the Atezr Laser
Best of luck with the new gizmo
Beautiful lamp Chad. Thanks for sharing your journey as you explore these newer technologies. As a long time subscriber i appreciate this.
Oh I’m glad to hear that. I sometimes worry that people won’t view this technology as woodworking. I sometimes question it myself 😆
I would love a pattern for that design. I can scroll that out and would love to make that lamp.
thanks
Hi, Chad! Frankly, I am shocked at how far you have come with the various software packages. I remember the first laser video you did and that you got help from others which moved you along. I too am a fan of FLW. Saw his Witchita House last year. All the mortar in the house between the bricks was gold leafed! Beautiful homes which I am sure you could make great furnture for. All is well down here in Arkansas. About to start my dining room table. Wish me luck. Bill
Thanks Bill. Learning the software is difficult for me but I’m not giving up.
I got to visit FLW home/ studio in Chicago this year. Fascinating!
nice lamp chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad
belle réalisation!
That really turned out nice Chad. I have a 10 watt optical output laser and I can cut 6 mm Baltic Birch ply. I really enjoy making things with mine.
Thank you! I would love to see what kind of things you are making with your laser engraver.
Happy to see you are experimenting with new methods with a nice project outcome.
Thank you. I have to admit, its really put me out of my comfort zone.
Great job Chad! I bought that Atezr laser. I think I'll have a go at this type of lamp. I'll screw the posts down from under the base though so you don't see any fixings.
Oh? Do you like it? I'm really enjoying mine. I agree, i wish I screwed down the posts to start with.
@@ChadStanton yeah it's a nice laser. I originally bought a lower powered AtomStack laser but the more powerful Atezr has a better build quality and functionality. My only gripe is there doesn't seem to be limit stops on both ends of the X and Y axes.
Cool ... I don't suppose the G-Code or file you used to cut your grid is available?
Awesome lamp!!!
Oh thank you. It’s my prototype. A little too big. But I’ll get it right. 😁
Great review and great "bright idea" pun, lol.
You probably figured this out by now, but just in case, there is a honeycomb tray/grid that you can put over your sheet metal for when you cut through your material. I'm a newb too, my Atezer may be here tomorrow. 'The Clack Shack', and 'Valley Forged' were great channels in my research. Hope this helps, and all the best in learning software (to the both of us).
Thanks for the tips. Truly appreciate any help I can get
Definitely need a steel honeycomb mat for cutting and heat dissipation! That Atezr L2 has automatic air assist which will also help with burning! 😁
Thank you. I am learning much and appreciate any tips.
hmmm could you use it to engrave the inlay to accept the lattice work? very interesting
Oooh excellent question. I would say yes. I know how to do it in the software but I have not tried it yet. Great idea!
Can you tell me how to turn that cross hair on and off? Mine does not come on and I need to know if it's a problem with the machine or if something got turned off some how?
Show 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏💯💯💯
Hi, I can't find replacement lenses anywhere...
I am having the same problems with mine and Atezrs tech support is horrible. For every question I ask they ask a unrelated question and they are 24 hrs apart. I am regretting my purchase for sure.
Yes the support is lacking. But overall I really like my laser
