I just bought one like this. In reality looks better than in your video. All criticism in comments below cannot understand. It's not a bling bling watch. For me Longines with this diving watch really closed the gap between a sporty watch with a fine touch of luxury. Perfect job Longines!

@@firecracker5328 on the wrist is insanely accurate and playing with the positions, when it's not on the wrist, (mine laying in lateral position have some + deviation and dial down - deviation), it's not even needed to adjust it...
Do you have any recommendations for alterative straps for this watch? I'm unable to find any 21mm options that will not hurt my pocket too much.

Originally I did think the same but I'm so happy I did purchase the black dial hydroconquest on rubber. I also checked out the breitling superocean 44mm same dial with the large numbers but couldn't justify the price difference for the breitling.
I tried wearing the bracelet version of the 41mm size, I have 6.5” wrist and it fits me well even for that long lug to lug size. Although I forgot to test how the winding feels because of the crown guards. But still I love it, now I’ll just save up so I can buy one by the end of this year.
Crown guard is excessive but combo killer ! Blue Dial is stunning 🤩 and new dimensions are OK. Great review Bro !

Very nice watch. Combination of blue gilt and rose gold is a perfect match. But the 51mm lug to lug is the show stopper for me.

I tried one on in the store and they seem to wear a lot smaller because of the huge curve, my wrist is 16cm and it fit surprisingly well.
I am still hoping for the 39mm versions on the next releases like the generation 1.
They have the 39mm in blue. It's amazing that the one in the video doesn't look too big on a 6.5 inch wrist.
5:35 Panerai does the same thing with omitting the 3 for a date window on some models so Longines isnt the only one
I have a 41mm grey dial rose gold, love it . The crown guard balance the 9 numeral one the other side. The ceramic bezel has a plastic look to me. It runs about 3 seconds faster per day. One time I shake it quite a bit and it run instantly another 3 seconds faster. I used my Longines conquest VHP to check the precision.

I like Longines in general but I have to agree, the dial is a mess. I like de Longines Comquest 39 mm, and its price is really good. Great review!

These two tone on strap models are very reminiscent of the seamster two tone and the Breitling superocean heritage two tone but mixed with a Rolex maxi case and an old Breitling superocean 2 with the numerals and dial.
But I really dig them on the strap anyway.
Stunning watch. But the lug-to-lug, crown guards, and no dial symmetry are a bit annoying.

Yes! There are a couple different colors. Black on pvd gold on strap or bracelet. Green and rose gold pvd. Grey and rose gold and blue and rose gold we have here. I saw the blue and black on TT bracelets.
Bought a GMT Conquest all steel with a black dial secondhand and got it a beautiful Italian black patent leather crocodile strap and sold it on. Going to have to get another one someday as it is nice looker at 41 mm with the date window right on the edge of the dial.
Really wish this HC Had a solid gold bezel and crown then I’d start putting some money away for one. PVD makes me cringe from Longines.I’ve got an 18 carat solid gold Longines Elegant 37mm and the PVD pin buckle is my only peeve but hey I’m happy with my poor man’s Calatrava.
I love this watch. Wore it at a store. Might be my next watch. My Tag battery ran out and the Tag blue dial F1 quartz was dead on very very little drift per month. My Mido Oceanstar special edition blue dial drifts 15 seconds a day which is too much. Too bad about the glass coating. Can it be polished off ?? Need a watch under 3000$ Canadian with blue dial and great accuracy.
yes it can be polished off in the future. During a Longines service they will probably put you a new crystal every 5 years!

Good summer watch or something not expensive to trake traveling if you have a more expensive collection. Longines needs to make 39mm version.
The first generation of hydroconquest was 39 mm maybe look into a used one
This isn't my ideal watch however I congratulate Longines for the general design and interesting finishing. The two level type of brushing clearly looks like someone really thought about this design as you say it certainly adds interest to what could have been a course brushed blob. Stunning dial but have to agree with you maybe loosing either the date of the 9 numeral to add balance.Areas that I'm not a fan of would have to include the huge sharp edged crown guards, two tone PVD and the rubber strap. I good solid accurate watch that's not quite for me.

The watch is not perfekt but it has personality! I like that. If bicolor then I would go for the version in yellow-gold.
I love the Hydroconquest but for some reason this colour combination gives me Glycine vibes, which isn't a good thing. Maybe it's cooler in the flesh.

I wish they did them in actual gold. At least the two tones. It's such a bold watch that gold would work on it, Tissot put actual gold on a thousand dollar watch so for double that I do think they could have made the bezel and crown of real gold and just kept it on rubber with no bracelet option for the gold ones. Would have bought it right away. But I will probably get the ceramic cased one or the boutique edition instead.
