  • Stir fried lotus roots is a good-looking vegetarian dish with great flavour, spicy lotus root stir-fry can be made in just a few minutes. This recipe tells you all the essential facts about this special vegetable and how to pick the spicy seasoning sauce.
    INGREDIENTS
    10 g Ginger, finely chop
    20 g Spring Onions
    2 pcs medium size Lotus Roots
    Optional( Peanuts)
    For the Sauce
    1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
    1 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
    1 tbsp Sesame Oil
    1 tbsp White Vinegar
    2 tsp Brown Sugar
    Dried Chili
    1 tsp Minced Garlic
    Oil
    PROCEDURE
    Prepare all the ingredients.
    Finely chop the ginger, wash and chop the the spring onions.
    Peel, wash and slice the lotus roots into thin round slice.
    In a wok, add oil and fry the lotus roots until soft. Set aside. Same wok, add the ginger, dried chili, spring onions(white part), and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
    Add the prepared sauce, add the fried lotus roots, stir constantly for 3 minutes. Done
    Garnish with chopped spring onions before serving, ENJOY!
