This is fucking amazing - Passion with all plugs pulled. Robert is crying. The crowd is not moving, nor speaking - just in awe. This is the best video of Robert exhausting himself (prior to this, there was the video of 'The Kiss' from the encore of the Trilogy video - where you can see him mouth the word 'Fuck!' as he just drops it all at the end)
The Cure really is its own thing in every way... there is nothing like them and never will be. Everytime I hear them, I want more and have to immerse myself for awhile. 💞

Robert gave so much of himself in that performance, until it all came crashing to a halt at the end and he had nothing left to give.
I still feel the same emotional impact from listening to it now as I did when I used to play it on my Walkman back in college in 1989.
