Here's a real healthy apple crumble recipe that makes a mini crumble for one person: Cut up one apple and add a tiny bit of water, a 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, a tablespoon of lemon juice, a 1/2 teaspoon of cornstarch, a pinch of salt, a teaspoon of stevia and some cinnamon and put on a low heat with a lid. The natural sugars will caramelise inside the apples and the cornstarch will thicken the sauce. For the topping, take 15g of oats and blend into oat flour. Add 10g of yoghurt(plain or vanilla) to the oat flour until it makes a crumbly dough. Add the caramelized apples to your oven dish and top with the oats and bake until the topping is golden.
My wife prefers to make stuff like this at home from scratch! She just made this and it was delicious! Better than buying take out and you have no clue whats in it or if someone has licked it. Thank you for sharing!!!
Okay here’s how you make a real healthy one: Cut the apple in the same way, put them in the pan and if they’re bitter apples , add a table spoon of maple or honey to cut the bitterness (but I usually don’t and it’s fine and then add about 4-9 tablespoons of water to the pan depending on if the apples dry up during cooking. The about will produce their own syrup when they are cooked , now add cinnamon and nutmeg to the apples as they did, now you’re done with the apples. I would suggest if you don’t want to use butter, use milk and eggs for the moisture to bind the crumble together
for anyone who wants an actual healthy recipe here it is: cut some apples and put them in oven with some orange juice and cocount sugar and cinnamon for 15-20 min. While that is in the oven put oats in a bowl with cocount flour and any nut flour and some sugar plus some butter or coconut oil. Mix and put on the apples, put back in the oven. Serve with some vanilla ice cream (Vegan).
Healthy in comparison to other versions of the recipe, those of you who have no idea. 🙄 Apples plus oats, and other recipes don't have oats and use even more sugar. Get it?
Well, butter is extremely good for you. Saturated fats are required for your cells, brain, heart health, joints, etc. The notion that fat is bad for you is based off of botched research by a failure of a scientist named Ancel Keys. His research was cherry picked and inconclusive. So good news for you! But sugar, yeah keep that to a minimum because that is most definitely terrible for your health.
I just made this except I used coconut sugar and half cup for the whole recipe. SO GOOD! Very rich tasting. I think I may even try slightly less sugar next time just to see how it turns out. Great recipe!
Healthy man added half a pack of sugar and corn starch?!? Is the corn starch added to make it rise? Let's hope that his health remains intact. We do love our sugar don't we.

True the butter is the healthiest part. The sugar and oats reduces the health benefits!
Adding butter and sugar to the recipe doesn't make it unhealthy

Too much sugar..10% apples 5%butter 85% diabetes
I have no idea what is so ”healthy” about this version
How this can be healthy? Full of sugar and butter!
Butter isn't bad for you, but you could cut down on the quantity of both if that is a concern, especially the sugar.
How is this healthy? Lol
It looks delicious going to give this a try very soon. Thanks for sharing.
