- Another day another Anime Figure haul. This time we're covering a few scale figures that I never got around to talking about alongside First 4 Figures new Samus Aran figure. Also a nendo because we love those too. We're casting a wide net with this one so hopefully you enjoy

Apologies for the audio in this one if it bothers you. Might need a new mixer but it wasn't properly powering my mic so it sounds a bit muddier than usual. Also I forgot to mention this in the video, but as you'll notice I didn't actually unbox the figures in this video. I wanted to get this video out early in the week so I opened everything up the day before and took some B roll to save time. I don't actually prefer doing it this way and rather unbox them on camera, but yeah hopefully that's not a big deal to you guys. I did like how much quicker filming this time was at least lol
There’s a thought, how about a Kotobukiya bishoujo Samus, one with a helmet, and one without, so many wishful figures, that always keeps me looking towards the future for those figures that could potentially be must haves.
Nintendo seems so strict with their licensing. Good smile, Max factory and F4F seem to be the main players when it comes to Nintendo character figures
It was great seeing you review Daiwa Scarlet! The B-roll footage you took of her really showed off how immaculate the sculpt and paintjob looks on her, particularly with the hair! I don't have the figure myself but my partner does, so it's nice to see her up close in the video ^^ I just preordered the Symboli Rudolf 1/7 scale from Claynel (only preordered because she's my personal favorite horse girl) and might look into picking up the Narita Brian 1/7 scale from Max Factory in the aftermarket!
Slept on this Daiwa figure for far too long but she was definitely worth it(even if she's cheaper now). Since im already late on Rice Shower I'm just gonna see how she fares on the Aftermarket and will def grab her is she drops a lil
Scarlet is clearly a burst sprinter with them huge hocks. Very dangerous over short distances. 🐎
That's a pretty epic Marth, I forgot it came out. Looks way better in your showcase than it did in pictures online. Freakin sweet as always Zucco.

I appreciate the honest review on the samus figure, ive been on the fence about getting her for a few months now. Im sorry to see yours in such rough quality, but despite that I feel more inclined to get her now lol. I feel like i too would be able to look past it
Yeah you can definitely ignore alot of what I complained about. Just bring some q-tips and maybe isopropyl alcohol for when its time to clean the smudges and stuff lol
I'm still waiting on my Samus to come in. Glad to see that the light up feature has a battery option because that was the main selling point for me. Hopefully no scratches or smudges when she finally arrives.

That box is fairly badly damaged. Though my Revy bunny from USPS is unfortunately worse.... its lid won't even close properly and one of the edge split half open.
What is amazing, however, is that the figure stayed fine. Due to the pose she have, her box was really large and there was a lot of space between the edges and her.
Anyway, I don't think any particular shipping service is consistently better or worse than the others, it's kind of luck of the draw
My coping is that your location has something to do with it. Like ever since I moved UPS has been alot worse for me, so when I move again later this year I'm wondering if it'll be the same
PO'd Dorothy as well cant wait to get her. Wanted the Samus as well so its nice to see how it turned out, dust aside lol

Great video Zucco! My recent purchases have been geared more toward Hot Toys and Inart 1/6 scale figures, so it's actually been a minute since I got an anime figure, but I did just get Neon Max's Wakamo from Blue Archive and she looks great! Though there is something that doesn't make her shine for me quite as well as a Spiritale or Alter figure, but I'm not quite sure what it is. I'm also really looking forward to the Spiritale releases coming up in the second half of the year and some Kotobukiya releases. Also the new PUP L Guts looks great, so I'm definitely picking him and the GSC Maomao up.
I'm slightly mixed on Guts face(mostly just the rough texture on it) but otherwise ya he looks really good

I don't like Marth's face. I like the Roy figure a lot more.
A very eclectic haul for sure! My tastes in figures are so vanilla because I tend to go with the mainstream franchises and manufacturers lol

W. I got Corrin on a whim because she looked awesome and she is one of the few characters that I enjoy playing as in Ultimate, but I would love a child/adult Tiki figure

Hi I'm a recent subscriber!,loved the video and so far only 2 of my figures I purchased have arrived damaged,they just broke free from there bases cleanly,and just 1 or 2 boxes had small damage.

@@ZuccoFigures There Kotobukiya figures and they just had a lack of glue to keep them together,1st figure I got my money back but could keep it.The other figure I got my shipping cost back,can't even tell they were broken before.
Marth best feat was definitely the shield! I actually do like this figure but Marth isnt my top favorite FE character. I actually like Roy and his figure and face sculpt was beautifully done except... his base is only half a base since its suppose to be paired up with Lilina. 😣 Gah it was almost perfect.
Unfortunate for Samus, I also absolutely love her and her games. I dont quite like this pose, her kneeling looks much cooler imo so I hope we get another future scale, maybe quality control will be better. Perhaps you got a bad batch

I mostly like nendos that can stand on their own, which is limited to a couple Mikus in traditional outfits and 2 of the Saekano ones.
I am wondering if scales are more like resolution than actual size. I got the Futaba rerelease this week, and she's supposed to be 1/7th. However, her actual height looks 1/8th, matching another 1/8th I have instead of the 1/7th in the same box. But she also seems more detailed. I have another two figures that are the same height, but the 1/7th does look a little more detailed than the 1/8th.
I think UPS did give me a shipping box with some damage? But they haven't given me anything actually damaged so far. I only use them if the box is big enough, though.
My favorite Nendos are the weird ones or characters that just fit the style. If they character has no other figures than that works too.
Honestly I just feel like the scale of a figure is often just an approximation rather than a perfect resizing of the characters height. Usually isn't a big deal but can be a tad annoying when one character is bigger or smaller than your other figures in the series
Great video! Your B-roll for all the figures is so clean and crisp, I love it! The sculpt and paint job on scarlet looks so good. Max factory was cooking again. The base is also chef’s kiss 🤌
I caved in and bought the bondrewd scale from Ques Q. I received him yesterday and honestly he’s one of my favorite pieces in my collection. There are no flaws at all. The paint job is super clean and the light mechanics for the head are amazing. It was rather expensive but I don’t regret my purchase at all
Is Bondrewd more expensive these days? I noticed he never dropped in price when I was looking at him
@@ZuccoFiguresI was initially waiting for him to drop in price but he never did. He was sold out everywhere but I was lucky enough that one store was a bit behind and got him in stock just recently. I paid around 300€ for him, which is … not too good. Prices in Europe have always been on the higher end, so it’s no surprise that my local store charged more
Also I haven’t seen anyone selling him on mfc. Since the last time I checked, he was going for 42000 yen on animota and for 38000 on Solaris japan

Literally bought VA-11 Hall-A on Switch last Sunday. Heavily influenced by you. Bought the OST on CD for the same reason 😊
I should really grab that soundtrack myself, though I forget if it's included with any of the special edition releases that I own
I have a bunch of the early F4F Samus statues. They’re quite rare now but def had some quality control issues in spots but look amazing overall. Shame the PVC one had issues as well. I might consider it if I see it on sale. Hope the one I get won’t have the same issues.
Alot of the PVC figures from them seem to go on sale. Even with a few QC issues I'd still like to get some of their other pvc once the price is right
The aftermarket for Uma Musume figures is unpredictable from what I've seen. Some go up(McQueen, Twin Turbo), some stay basically at retail(Daiwa Scarlett), and some have tanked(Special Week). Mix of popularity and manufacture would be my guess. Rice Shower is I think the 2nd most popular girl, so her aftermarket is unfortunately (cause i also want her). She is definitely going to skyrocket. Also, Daiwa is 5'4

I own the Marth figure and love it just because I am a Fire Emblem nut. I do feel a little bad paying full price for it since it binned hard, but I do agree that it's a shame that the Fire Emblem (his shield) has so much detail yet is off to the side. I'm also getting my Samus figure sometime soon from F4F so I'll have to be sure to check for scuffs but I'm sold on the quality after seeing your thoughts. I also love how a bunch of figure people looked at Daiwa Scarlet and were like "yep, we want that" and I'm slowly leaning into that camp too...
Daiwa's design is too good. Impressive size too considering shes a bit cheaper these days

Even if it came up pretty rough, the Samus one looks awesome. I'm still a little bit mad about missing the light suit statue back then. Let's hope the make the metroid suit or the phazon suit next

I've done it with AmiAmi once which was slightly annoying to setup but otherwise happy they let me do it. I've seen in the past that F4F would make you break the figure if they sent over a replacement so that you don't sell the one you currently have. Nice way to release some stress I guess lol
I love your showcase of Marth! he looks great! I can totally understand the criticism tho. I just recently got my Veronica and Byleth scales and they're both so amazing! the boxes are so ugly for these figures, which is slightly disappointing. I expected a little more from the Fire Emblem franchise 🤷♀️ but I can't wait for the Corrin scale I preordered!
15:15 ohhhh man you should look up creation studios 1/4 scale samus, I got one and it's jaw dropping...I know it's an unlicensed resin and it's price went into the stratosphere, but just mentioning that it's one of her top figures ever.
and yeah F4F QC isn't very good, I don't hate or dislike the company by any means, but yeah it looks pretty good....if you unboxed the samus i would contact f4f, that sounds like something crazy happened and you shoulda been given a free replacement if you have video proof.
Ah yeah that Samus. Definitely have seen it before but that ship has sailed long ago
I haven't gotten any Nenderoids yet. I want quite a few but they are so expensive. Im in Australia so currency conversion isn't as good. I could get a preowned scale for the price of 2 Nenderoids.

My Samus came in with her right arm separated from the actual figure. Alongside the many QC issues that you encountered, very disappointed with the release and honestly their customer support was not the greatest, they told me to either fix it myself OR record myself destroying it and they’ll send a new one within 3 months.
Sorry to hear that. at least they will send you a new one if you do that, though who's to say it'll be better
@@ZuccoFigures I ended up going with me just fixing the arm. I didn’t want to risk getting another broken one much later. They did include a 25 dollar store credit so it was something at least lol

Do you think the plastic used on Samus is good? I know is a hollow figure to permit the pass of the cables, but do you think it will break easily?
It honestly feels a little light so best to be careful when handling her
As a huge Fire Emblem fan and avid collector of the figures (I have all the scales and have the rest preordered), and I agree fully, the boxes are RIDICULOUSLY boring.
Also in regards to Marth, the main artist for him has developed a more Moe style, so the face is based on the current style, seen more recently in the Fire Emblem Heroes App game where he gets more appearances.
Edit: the series of figures have a hit or miss with QC, but I highly recommend the most recent Veronica, she turned out absolutely gorgeous. Basically a 1-to-1 to the prototype photos. (Also the only one with a BLACK box which looks much sleeker, wondering if they’ll do the same with Corrin releasing this month.)
I'd like to get Ike at some point since he looked pretty good, though Roy only looked OK? Veronica I actually don't think I saw any photos of her released so I should probably go do that lol
@@ZuccoFigures Ike is definitely a stand out in the collection, very much his more rugged self then Marth.
And while I prefer the Lilina over Roy, he does still look good, just the stupidly big base for a pretty basic figure leaves a bit to be desired. Together tho, they're a lovely set :)
while I don't have the samus figure, I have a bunch of other f4f figures. I think you just got very unlucky, as I've never had a figure arrive dirty or scratched. I have however had one figure have the box be slightly dusty when it arrived.

Modern Fire Emblem figure boxes are definitely some of the boringest boxes out there. No argument there.
UPS for you is DHL for me. Every single package from Amazon JP arrived damaged in the last two years. I don't mind figure boxes being damaged (too much) as long as the figures are fine, but having three limited edition Blu-ray sets really hurt. 😢
I love Metroid too. My favorite figures of the franchise are the figma line. Their construction and articulation are great, and the joints are well hidden by the suits. I am sorry to hear the scale you got has so many defects. I would definitely ask for a replacement if that option is open to you.

Honestly DHL was a huge coin flip for me but because of their increased rates I haven't used them in at least a year now. USPS treats me well and I guess now that GSC global is using Fedex more these days my fate is in their hands
Marth was my first scale figure! ^^ kinda sucks knowing I overpaid in hindsight but I’m partial to the character so I don’t really mind. The art style definitely is acquired taste, personally I like it, but I also understand not being a fan especially because most ppl r used to the smash render… happy to see him covered in detail on here! ( ◠‿◠ )

That's unfortunate, about the Samus scale. Not sure how those things can even happen when its supposed to be brand new. I'm not sure if I prefer this pose with her arm down or the iconic pose from Metroid II/Return of Samus or AM2R.
I'm surprised you haven't played Metroid Prime, as weird as this sounds that game from 2002 feels better to play than some games that come out today and by a wide margin. I think I remember saying this on like reddit, maybe or something? But Metroid Prime is astonishly good, considering it was their first attempt at a 1st person game in that style and the first 3d Metroid.
Not every franchise gets that right. Contra, and Castlevania would know all about that.
Honestly Prime just flew passed me somehow. I had a Gamecube and as a kid/teen bought so many of the good games but just not Prime for some reason. Metroid was really only something I got into in my 20s I guess(though I did have Prime 3 on the wii oddly). I did buy remastered and plan to play it but just havent gotten around to it yet
I would like the marth fig but his face bothers me and for the lyn fig the colors of the release sucks compared to the prototype
