I have the stihl km130 kombisystem unit with the tiller/cultivator attachment, the rubber paddle broom, the bristle broom, the string trimmer, edger, 145 degree articulating hedge trimmer, the pole saw and I have two 3 foot carbon fiber extensions. No matter what tool I use or how hard I push this thing it never bogs down or loses power. I like this kombi unit better than the dedicated units because the engine on this km130 is 36.3 cc 1.9 HP and you can use the same powerful engine to run all of the tools and save storage space and money by not having to maintain multiple engines. I used to have 5 or 6 dedicated units and they took up alot of storage space, now I can literally fit this whole kombi system in a golf club bag. This kombi system is well worth the money and it's worth paying the few extra dollars for the bigger engine, (110, 111, 130, 131).
I have the 130 myself and Stihl nailed it with the 4 mix engines. Very little smoke as they are 4 stroke engines but use 2 stroke mix. That keeps the weight down not having a crankcase and oil you have to change. You get the torque of the 4 stroke and it's a simple design. I spent over $1000 on power head and attachments and it's definitely worth it.
I just bought this unit today with the hedge trimmer and edger. Blew through everything in its path, a totally satisfying purchase. The blower attachment is next on the list.
I was trying to find some info on this so I can get one for my father, his stihl weed wacker is like 15 years old and vibrates so bad your fingers will get stuck curled lol, I had used one of these when I worked for a landscaping company, I used to do the hedges into different shapes and designs for the rich people, got pretty good at it too. My father has 30-35ft tall ceder hedges that give him privacy from the neighbors and this thing is pretty much the only thing that will reach the top without having to get our friends bucket lift. Pain in the ass to trim hedges that big even with this thing but its the only one that can do it that ive seen. awesome video i had been trying to find the name of it cause i couldnt remember
Good video giving a good idea of how to use the kit. I have a 3.5 hectare farm which in the rainy season has grown like topsy, so I need to get shot of the weeds and prune the trees. Thanks for posting
Thanks for the review, by the way. I just picked up the KM 130 R yesterday and haven't even used it yet. So far the FCS-KM edger is the only attachment I have for it, I'm looking forward to getting some others.
+CavvyStudios I have some Stihl equipment, just to give you a heads up, the gear box for the cultivator is the same for the power broom. All you need to do is remove the tines, install the hex rods, and slide the rubber or bristle brooms on. Also when using the cultivator, the gear box drive should be up, when using the broom, the drive should be on the bottom. When cultivating, it should pull you foward, when using the broom, it should push you backward. I have a 7 year old fs110 and a newer fs 250, never had any problems with either one of them.
I believe these engines have the intake valve draw thru the crankcase like a 2 cycle for lubrication of the lower end, I haven’t done a whole lot of research but I’ve looked at diagrams.
I've got an Echo setup like this. Plenty for me. Have an Echo blower for the Mrs. but a Stihl 85 blower for me and a 440 Magnum and a Super 45 saw. Good stuff.
I just purchased a new Stihl trimmer with the nylon line head on it. The biggest problem I have with all the trimmers I own is the primer bulb cracking and leaking fuel.
They make a newer version of this power head, it's called the 131R. I just got one, bad ass. So powerful you can cut anything commercial or residential.
Good stuff , made in Germany , our neighbour country , the Stihl mix will stay good for 2 years but its cheaper to mix Aspen pure gasoline with a good 2stroke oil , I've been usin that in my chainsaws for more than 10 years , And one last remark , watch out for your feet , those blades are sharp !!
It definitely is a cool piece of equipment. Like I said, this one belongs to my brother, but I may be able to borrow it occasionally. It's definitely a lot more powerful than my weed eater.
A little late in the year to need one, but thats a darn fine machine. Should come in very handy on your property. I know I sure could use that at the farm, its like 10 freakin' tools in one!
I'm making me a Trimmer Supply Backpack for the Stihl FS-90R gas weed whacker tools, fuel and attachments and I don't have the "Kombi" quick change system, so I'm wondering if the leaf blower attachment will still attach by replacing the head only, instead of head and shaft, because I do grounds keeping, holds 5 gallons of mixed fuel, the attachments that come with a replacement shaft, the lubricant and the tools for it.
6:01 Why does my stihl trimmer or stihl 4 mix trimmers in general make that little rattling noise when you let off the throttle? Like something is loose in the engine.
Good video, I have several of these attachments for my 130. Wanted to know if anyone may know where to get or if they have something that you mount on the wall that would hang these attachments. I don't want them just sitting around on the floor. Thanks
I just bought a 130, my local dealer here in California threw a wall mount for the kombi and four or five attachments in for free, he said they had a few laying around in the warehouse. Stihl part number is 600054, might be worth asking about at your local dealer
I'm not sure if you can get different bar sizes on the chainsaw or not. You can extend the pole much longer though if necessary. It's one of the best systems out there. It's almost 4 years later now and it still works like new.
I had a model older than this one that I love. My sister has difficulty with tools that are too heavy and she actually loved mine and found it easy to use ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG . This is a newer model but was even lighter which she really appreciates. She enjoys it and I no longer have to go to her house to trim as she can handle it fine. Haven't used it enough to comment on the battery life but lithium batteries last longer than the old style. Being cordless makes it easy to trim the far edges of the property. The entire yard can be trimmed with one charged battery.
Do you know whats funny all the lower quality brands like homelite craftsman... they all have split shaft for like 120$ machine not really good quality but I love stihl very much but 370$ for just an engine that is a bit money but for a good machine
Al A Get the 130 or 131 power head. I have the 130 and with a few attachments I spent over $1000 but it's well worth it. You can also use the Ryobi attachments on the Stihl. I have the Ryobi chainsaw attachment as I rarely use it.
Stephen Brown You Definitely get what you pay for with these products. They might be a little more but I still have my first weed trimmer I bought 20years ago. Hand held leaf blower, gas powered hedge trimmer all are great. I work for the big blue box store and can get Husky or B&D etc for a discount and I still will buy stihl I don't care how much I could save. You only have to buy it once.
Would not buy one, companies have a habit of changing systems on the grounds that the new system is better leaving the customer with half a set of tools that do not fit anything or a motor that dose not fit any tools. There should be a world wide standard for this type of tool, not ten thousand different patents on systems that do the same thing.

I just picked this kombisystem up with the Km 131 R Motor Head it's a beast
The best review. Nobody never said the motor was a mix of 2 and 4 stroke. Thanks.

Have 91 R great system have about all attachments. Going to get 130 R later. Love it quick and easy.
I got the km130r and it’s a beast. The bed redefiner slices right through hard ground no problem. I love it
Thanks for taking to time to make this. Very thorough and informative for those of us doing our research before buying. Much appreciated.
I would advise putting the rubber boot back on the attachment before laying it in the grass

Yeah, this would definitely makes things a little easier. That chain saw attachment would make a pretty wicked home protection device too.
Went for the Husqvarna 535LK myself but they are both great systems. They are rather expensive in the UK though!
I've got an Echo setup like this. Plenty for me. Have an Echo blower for the Mrs. but a Stihl 85 blower for me and a 440 Magnum and a Super 45 saw. Good stuff.

Yeah, that leaf blower is a little unusual, but it seems to work really well.
Just got the 131r Kombi. It's a sweet set up.
Good video! A nice overview of all the attachments.
I just purchased a new Stihl trimmer with the nylon line head on it. The biggest problem I have with all the trimmers I own is the primer bulb cracking and leaking fuel.
Thanks for checking it out!
Thanks for details. I have that units little brother the 90. I love mine. I can only imagine how torquey the larger unit is
It really is a great piece of equipment....should come in really handy. Thanks for taking a look!
Thanks for taking a look Matt!
- thanx for the demo, J - cleared up some questions I had concerning this product -

Thanks for the information !

Any idea what the improvements made were? I have the 130r

Thanks for taking a look Jos!
On Stihl pcs u can attach all the heads on 1 pole. all interchangeable at bottom. Unscrew the two bolts n pulloff
I can see how those blades can be pretty dangerous. Thanks for taking a look Pablo!
Thanks for taking a look!
Btw, congrats and give yourself a pat on the back. You've passed 21k subs and still manage to respond to comments.:)
Nice machine the leaf blower is cool looking

The Km 131 R Has 33 percent more power then the Km 130 R i believe is what stihl is saying love mine so far
A post hole digger would be really handy.
Thanks, I don't get to everyone, but I do my best.
That's a great system! Reminds me of vacuum cleaner attachments :)
I would so enjoy myself playing with all those cutters, crikey! I would have to run the tank dry before I came back inside... Great video. :-)
I got the Mini-Cultivator as an attachment and love it.
It is a pretty nice setup, a lot better than mine.
That cultivator does look interesting. He couldn't justify buying it yet, because he doesn't really do any gardening.
cool, but I was looking for the "dentist drill " attachment, and the post hole digger attachment...I bet it could drive a small hydraulic pump...
nice, can that Leaf Blower Attach to the weed whacker shaft, without the "Kombi" quick attach system?
Thanks for taking a look at it!
It does get a little tedious after a while. Maybe someday they will have rechargeable batteries that last a lot longer.
very informative review. amazing system saves buying all of them tools
This is a good tool, ive got the mcculloch multitool but not as good as this
Nice tools . First time seeing this time of tool. Very cool
6:01 Why does my stihl trimmer or stihl 4 mix trimmers in general make that little rattling noise when you let off the throttle? Like something is loose in the engine.
Great video mate. Thanks for your help
Nice. It sure beats the weed-wacker I had to put up with one summer. :)
Helpful and informative . Thank you.

Will the 130 r fit the 131 r attachment ??
Nice!
how much does it cost for the whole 5pcs set altogether
Very nice.
Oh yeah, the Germans engineer the hell out of stuff.
Whats the handle bar for?
Do you know whats funny all the lower quality brands like homelite craftsman... they all have split shaft for like 120$ machine not really good quality but I love stihl very much but 370$ for just an engine that is a bit money but for a good machine

So, you can buy 3 $120 units for the price of 1 Stihl. Hmmm.
Good info. Thanks.
