This is like a tribute to PMD. This game forged a part of my childhood. I wanted to support this good old game, as a musical Fan-Art.

@@MrGod-nl7no From what I saw, he was scared of getting a strike because here in France, you need the permission of the music's creator to make a remix out of it, otherwise it is considered as illegal, and I guess getting Game Freak's approval would have been hard.

The weird nearly off tuned flute in the third part (0:56) of the song gets me every time. It’s so relaxing and desert-y. Any idea what instrument that is? Sounds like a super low pan flute.

That's totally a Duduk. It's an Armenian instrument that works like an oboe. A great example of this instrument in video game context is Scythia's theme in Civilization VI. I really recommend you check it out.

@@martindouge4504 A fun fact, it's also so deserty of an instrument that I found out about the instrument because it was used as Prince Zuko's theme. So the duduk was that of a tsungi horn.
