I mean it seems to be the one that's been taking off the most and I know content creation isn't just about numbers but its a theme that earned its popularity from the game.
A Red theme that does make you remember while listening to it "Oh yeah, this is you in gen 1. The guy who took down the mafia and the strongest of trainers, then after the events of gen 1 decided that MORE training was the only way to go." Very well done, you captured the true power that he lore wise embodies in musical form.
It wasnt lore for me. When i played crystal the first time as a kid and i made it to red i was sorely under prepared. My team was barily in their 60s and i got stomped.
Literalmente me sentí así cuando luche con él en el Mt Silver, y el equipo de Rojo era casi exactamente el mismo que elegí en Rojo Fuego, excepto a Lapras
"There is a place, far from here, beyond the Indigo Plateau, beyond the civilization we humans have built, where only the most dangerous Pokemon roam, all but the strongest and bravest avoid it, and even some of them rarely return. Their wild and savage nature best all but the mightiest. But it is said that those who survive the journey will come face to face with a mountain, a mountain upon which the peak pierces the sky. A mountain that goes on for what seems like an eternity and at its summit, he waits. He waits for those worthy enough merely to face him. He waits for those who dare believe they are flawless, only to be taught how mistaken they have been. He humbles those who believe that just because they have bested the gyms, they are untouchable. He shows those who have attained the title of champion how empty that title is. His name is Red. And he does not lose." - Blue
I’m 36yrs old. I’ve been playing since I was 14. Red to me will always be the ultimate trainer(cuz really he’s just all of us). He did it for the love of the game and ended up being the most bad ass of all time. Cynthia can sit this one out. This is epic dude. Thanks.
Pokemon was my childhood when i was 7 , when blue and red came, i was on the classic pea soup gb before pokemon stadium, then I got a gbc in 2000 for silver like dang
I think you hit the nail on the head. That's why we can never get enough of good remixes of this theme, why we can never forget this battle, we can never lose our reverence of Red. Because Red isn't a trainer. Red is a concept. Red is us.
Red is a legend among all trainers in pokemon games. Cynthia is strong and formidable, but Red has something more. He is the very aspiration of what every pokemon trainer wants to become.
This remix exactly depicts how we feel during the battle with Red. A strong presence standing atop Mt. Silver, the strong aura radiating, producing chills up your spine. Feeling helpless as we climb to the top to find out a person who went missing without a notice. The unexpected dread and power coming your way with one of the greatest trainers in the history of Pokemon. Absolutely love this remix! Hope you do more Pokemon remixes, I love pokemon osts and your remixes make them even more epic!
Thanks a lot again! Nice description too! Also, since now I have a much bigger audience who likes Pokémon it is very likely that from now on most of my remixes will be Pokémon related. Thanks for listening!
I feel like this really captures the energy of what it would be like to approach/be in that fight. At that point, Red would effectively be a living legend, having beaten the Elite Four and having become the Pokemon Champion, and as a fellow champion traversing Mt. Silver, to find the OG at the peak. It really gives the kind of "our battle will be legendary" vibes, and that really shines through in the sense of the sheer gravitas that flows through this version of the music. Really well done.
Let me speak as a person who lived the Pokémon games since his childhood. Either you grew up playing Pokémon or you start playing the franchise from Red, Blue or even better, Yellow or you can't fully understand the feeling, the fear this battle meant for most of us. You started as Red. You knew the struggles, the pain and courage it took to become the Champion. You played those games for hours leveling your Pokémon, exploring every single corner of the map discovering amazing moments. When Gold and Silver arrived, suddenly you're at a new Region as Gold, the new protagonist. Your mission is almost the same as the previous games, but there's a difference: whenever you go, you listen to others talking about an amazing Trainer that defeated Team Rocket and became Champion a couple years ago, and NOBODY knows where he is. After hours playing, you reach the only zone that ever required 16 medals to unlock: Mt. Silver. By this point, your Pokémon are at least Lvl. 60-70 at most, there's no Trainer at this point that you haven't defeated and have a couple of Legendary Pokémon with you. As you're making your way up the mountain, thinking what Pokémon could await you, suddenly you reach the Top of Mt. Silver. In the Snowstorm, you see a figure, a lonely Trainer that does not react at your presence. It doesn't attack, say anything or even move as you approach him. And suddenly, when YOU speak to him, the only thing you heard is: "..." And then it begins... NOTHING could ever prepared us to that moment as we read: "PKMN TRAINER RED WANTS TO BATTLE!"
This is 100% accurate, you are so confident that there isn't any trainer in the game that can beat you now. Then you find Red or just yourself from the previous game "wait that's...that's my old character...who became champion and trained countless hours" The panic rises in your throat from there
There's no chance your Pokemon are even close to 70. Must of us from back then cleared the league and Kanto and hat a team of level 50s to 60s. Maybe a higher-level starter. Red was way ahead of us. And most of us lost the first time. His Snorlax was something else. Nowadays we know Pokemon like the back of our hands and we can beat Red under-leveled. But back then, it was something else.
The Red in the games is a Power Fantasy and it does that very well - but the Red from the Manga is on an entirly other level. Red survived a War against the Elite Four were they literally started multiple attacks on citys in entire Kanto to extinguish Humanity. It took multiple Main Characters to even go up against one of the Elite Four with a shred of hope to defeat them. Red took them on 1v1 like the G that he is. They feared him so much as the single greatest thread to their plan that they ambushed him and frozen him solid on Mt.Moon before they executed their plan because the was he only Trainer they ever feared to stop them.
Perhaps the most iconic battle in Pokemon ever. You become the strongest trainer as Red, then you essentially have to defeat yourself in the end of the next game. This cover made the epicness of that battle even more so.
Wow thanks! I'm already claiming my price as a matter of a fact and that is the feedback from amazing people like you who make precious comments in my videos. Thank you!
This is what you hear when you start the battle with red, leading with your level 87 thyplosion and a full team of untrained legendaries, just to discover a full team of pokemon, with perfect ivs,ev trained, with the perfect natures, with the best coverage moves and items that only make whats already hard harder
@@Gru..- A big L for him... If only Pokémon Co. could give him a truly solid team, with good moves, natures, etc., like Cynthia, although iconic (just like the original team from HGSS), it would be magnificent.

Nice description you made there! In my mind I thought of already feeling his presence just by entering mount silver and the closer you get the more menacing and thrilling it gets.
@@MCAnimationofficial Red collected absolutely all 151 varieties of poket monsters of his region, by himself defeated the entire Rocket team, including their boss. The only trainer in Pokémon that has scared me ever. Even when not nuzlocking the game he made me sweat bullets every single time I fought him. Very nice piece of music, very fitting!
Wow, this took me back to the first time I managed to get to red atop mt. Silver. Outside of Cynthia, red was easily one of the hardest fought battles I had. In the end it came down to a speed tie between my pokemon(can't remember which one) and his blastoise, my pokemon was one hit away and his blastoise was still pretty healthy, in the end I got lucky and scored a critical hit (I think it was either an earthquake or a Giga drain) and it missed it's hydro pump and the hail KO'd it. This really brought back the intensity I felt back then, well done!
Amazing work! My favorite moment was after entering the final chamber, there is no sound. Not a peep. It all adds up to the tension of walking up to Red and pressing A on a stoic Red who says nothing, as the most intense and OG battle theme plays starting the fight of our lives!!!!
Ok I really love this, not only does it sound extremely well done, I feel like this would be for some literal movie opening for a serious version of Pokemon or for some finale in a game with some cool monologue! Well done!
Thanks Joseph! My objective was to make Red's Theme have a start and an ending. Making an epic build-up until it reaches a climax and then it fades off with a dramatic ending.
The only reason we won because we already knew his pokemon and technique start adjust the strategy to beat him. But the fact is we'll never beat him. He just let us survive, that's why we're at home after the battle.
Just beat the man for the first time today. My team of Empoleon, Palkia, Lucario, Staraptor, Luxray, and Rapidash are now officially "Living Legends". Now I just have about 60 more playthroughs left until I have every Pokèmon with the Living Legend Ribbon (Excluding Event Pokemon).
God, this version of the soundtrack of the Gold/Silver Champion theme is great, Red for me is one of my favorite characters in the entire saga, and in gold/Silver and its remakes, it would become one of my favorite games and for The combat between champions that takes place inside/on Mount Silver, would be one of my main reasons, Red, our past protagonist, the one who dismantled Team Rocket, defeated the leaders of each gym and elite 4, completed the pokedex and became the most powerful trainer in Kanto, the most powerful in the world (at the time before the other generations were released), being a representation of our previous character, of us, the character that we crowned at the top of everything thanks to our effort and dedication, now, waiting for us on silver mountain in the depths and at the top from this, now we must defeat him with a new legend that we have built, Ethan, the new protagonist that has traveled the same path as Red, defeating team Rocket again, conquering the gyms of two regions and defeating the elite four, capturing all the pokemon and being crowned as the new champion of both regions, now, the true final challenge of our adventure in Johto and Kanto, the fight between champions, the most powerful trainers in the world, the past VS the Present, Ethan / Gold VS RED, the best fight of the entire saga in my opinion until this day.
Nearing the summit of the mountain I noticed a strange silence has washed over. It's so quiet I can hear the drip of blood from my hands. No signs of any pokemon? As if the entire mountain top is devoid of life. The closer I get the darker the sky becomes, like an ominous omen. Intracloud lightning helps illuminate the path. Reaching the peak I see a lone silhouette of a man. Having trained with psychic types I can feel the terrifying aura emitting from his body. Another flash of lightning, this time striking a pokeball being thrown midair. A Pikachu explodes from the ball absorbing all the electricity in the sky. It's body radiates brilliant white static, It crackles and sparks with energy. I've never seen such a horrific display of power. This is no ordinary Pikachu. Scars illustrate a life of many intense battles. Slowly the hat of the man lifts and our eyes meet. This is the gaze of a true master. I don't believe I will survive this encounter ...
Props to you for making this awesome orchestra. And Pedro has good taste if he chose this theme for Red and Lance's epic battle when he animated Pokemon Red on his channel
This feels like a dragon ball song with all the build up and how it just keeps building up and keeping your attention through the anticipation of the great fight about to happen, amazing remix.
Thanks for your analysis! Some comments mention that the build up is way too long and reading your comment made me glad someone understood the message.
Remember that Red is the alternative version of Ash. If Ash found out how strong he is on the other side, it would be boring and a big spoiler. While Ash became the Pokémon Master, but Red already defeat many powerful trainers and several champions in every regions 👌🔥
Only found Your channel today, been listening to this on repeat for ages. Brings me right back to nov 1999. This theme is beyond epic, like Gladiator meets Pokémon. I’m replaying let’s go pikachu just now, when I find Red, I’ll have this tune on max volume.
I've listened to remixes of Red's theme for probably at least a decade now, and this.. my god this was one of the best I've ever heard! It was one of those songs where once you start hearing it you stop what you're doing to listen, and that we just from the build up. The main part afterwards left me in speechless awe I don't comment too often on videos, but I just needed to come and say.. amazing job! Finding this made my night ^^
Thank you so much! I tried and made an introduction as if you were climbing Mt. Silver and every step closer to Red made it more nerve- racking before the real battle begins. Thank you for commenting! Feel free to do that in any of my videos because I normally reply back! :)
Oh my pokeblocks!!!! This should've been a 6 or 7 min track and extended!!! This is pure legendary music right here, very fitting for the original protagonist of the series and most powerful trainer IMO.
The wind picks up, its almost unbearable. How can anyone stand let alone train on the peak of Mt. Silver?! Then a shadow appears through the haze. The gleam of a leaf like badge on his cap acts like a beacon. But this isn't a lighthouse to guide ships coming port. It's a beacon luring the foolish and ill-prepared to their doom. Its time for a test in survival.
My elder brother listened to this while I was listening to it. I could see fear in his eyes sweating. When I asked him a competetive playerwhy he was his reply surprised me. Probably Red was the only trainer to have ever defeated him both in original and remakes. According to him even though his team( the remake especially) lacked type versatility unlike cynthia, he had the raw power to make any champion look like an elite 4. He describes that battle like nothing he ever faced outside of a battle facility the battle where he fought a force far greater than a champion A LEGEND. P.S. He has played every pokemon game till now.
When playing the game and beat elite 4 you don't really feel like the battles are epic. Best ones was against Lance but as you climb that mountain you see him. A true Legend and you have to appreciate Golds shock of what that means when sends out a Pikachu on steroids and realizes the gravity of the situation he's in. To this point he fought many weak opponents a few challenging ones but before him is a legend he's been hearing tales about with his journey in kanto.
Bro this channel makes some of, if not the highest quality remixes I’ve ever come across. Great job, and u deserve way more subs then what you’ve got already
Awww thanks a lot HD, your comment made my day. Thanks a lot for the support! I'll keep making epic remixes even if they barely get views, it is my passion. :) If I wanted to be more successful, all I can ask for is to listen to my tracks from beginning to end since it will make the YT algorithm notice my video. For some reasons this strikes me as something that would play during the Pokemon equivalent of Superman's "world of cardboard" speech. With Red demonstrating "what we have here is a rare opportunity for me to cut loose, and show you just how strong we really are."
Here’s the future plan. I’m getting heart gold and soul silver for my kid and I. After they beat (survive) Red, I’ll allow them to play against me. I’m lowering our volumes all the way & playing this full blast.
8 year old me, sitting on the couch, having just defeated the 4 pokemon league masters in my underwear on a saturday morning....the gameboy color's little red battery indicator light getting dim...it's time....my rival falls here, now.
The most well known trainer. But I don't think anything will ever top Volo's fight in Legends Arceus. That is literally the only battle I ever lost on my first try aside from Red on Mount Silver. But instead of being underleveled, I was outnumbered (Volo technically has 8 mons fighting for him, versus my 6)

Thank you Zeris! Nostalgia hits really hard!
I literally only just found this last night, and I’ve already listened to it about 20 times. It’s too perfect
Thanks a lot man! Means a lot!
Amazing work! My favorite moment was after entering the final chamber, there is no sound. Not a peep. It all adds up to the tension of walking up to Red and pressing A on a stoic Red who says nothing, as the most intense and OG battle theme plays starting the fight of our lives!!!!
This Is My By Far Favourite Piece Of Music Youve Made Galax Please Do Not Stop These Are Insane
Pokemon Villain: Pokemons are nothing but tools
Red:.............
The music: 1:24
This is some serious Dark Souls energy right here… Enough to trigger PTSD…
The only reason we won because we already knew his pokemon and technique start adjust the strategy to beat him. But the fact is we'll never beat him. He just let us survive, that's why we're at home after the battle.
I just finished heart gold yesterday and hearing this cover describe how I felt battling him, omg
Congrats!
@@Galax_Music it was pretty tough, I climb mount silver like 30th times just so I can beat him :")
@@Mclane933 He's called the very best for something! Although he isn't the toughest trainer in the franchise anymore :(
@@Galax_Music yeah, sad:'(
@@Galax_Music Who is?
This right here is what I've been searching for all day.
On the last Pokémon game this needs to be the theme we started with the best and now it’s time to prove we are worthy of being the best
Props to you for making this awesome orchestra. And Pedro has good taste if he chose this theme for Red and Lance's epic battle when he animated Pokemon Red on his channel
thankkkkk you so muchh for making this !!! i love it keep up the great work!
Thanks Team Rocket! :D
This feels like a dragon ball song with all the build up and how it just keeps building up and keeping your attention through the anticipation of the great fight about to happen, amazing remix.
Thanks for your analysis! Some comments mention that the build up is way too long and reading your comment made me glad someone understood the message.
Thank God someone said Dragon Ball and not DBZ
My God gave me goosebumps because of how epic good work is
Remember that Red is the alternative version of Ash. If Ash found out how strong he is on the other side, it would be boring and a big spoiler. While Ash became the Pokémon Master, but Red already defeat many powerful trainers and several champions in every regions 👌🔥
It’s more like Ash is the Alternative Version of Red, I like the theory that Red is Ash’s grandfather
The power of the music matches his lore and his strength
Only found Your channel today, been listening to this on repeat for ages. Brings me right back to nov 1999. This theme is beyond epic, like Gladiator meets Pokémon. I’m replaying let’s go pikachu just now, when I find Red, I’ll have this tune on max volume.
Thanks! Have fun with your playthrough!
I've listened to remixes of Red's theme for probably at least a decade now, and this.. my god this was one of the best I've ever heard!
It was one of those songs where once you start hearing it you stop what you're doing to listen, and that we just from the build up. The main part afterwards left me in speechless awe
I don't comment too often on videos, but I just needed to come and say.. amazing job! Finding this made my night ^^
Thank you so much! I tried and made an introduction as if you were climbing Mt. Silver and every step closer to Red made it more nerve- racking before the real battle begins. Thank you for commenting! Feel free to do that in any of my videos because I normally reply back! :)
Best red remix I've heard. It doesn't do some stupid electric guitar stuff, just an epic song. Good job'
Thanks Josef Piano!
Best remix of Trainer Red and it's not even close. Amazing job, this sounds so fuckin epic.
Thank you so much!
Being 7-8yo at the time of battling Red this is what it FELT like.
2:13 is when he flips his hat backwards
This gave me chills, and music almost never does that to me. Great job!
Thanks a ton!
You're super talented dude holy shit!
Looking forward to more remixes from you!
Thanks a ton!
@@Galax_Music Do you have a discord or a community I could join?
@@namanmehta1128 I don't have one at the moment but do not worry. I will do one once I reach 4k subscribers
Oh my pokeblocks!!!! This should've been a 6 or 7 min track and extended!!! This is pure legendary music right here, very fitting for the original protagonist of the series and most powerful trainer IMO.
Red vs Lance from Pedro Araujo brought me here, such an epic theme, well done
this gave me goosebumps man nice work!
I want to use it in some of my DnD games as boss music and be able to say when they ask me "well... technically it's a pokemon song" .
You are free to use any of my tracks as long as you leave credit to my channel such as leaving the link of the video or my UA-cam Channel.
Getting nostalgic goosebumps here!
That artwork is so good. I just keep clicking because of it.
Hashwo! Kottaklombœs! Ic pe freond!
So... Red was actually Light Yagami... and Charizard his Shinigami ?
Who would Red kill? I mean, he had some differences with many people along his journey, but not to the point of wishing death to someone
@@athos9293 Red is a 10 (13) year old boy, he's definitely not killing anyone 😂
Me: I hear boss music and it's not my own.
Red: ...
I would easily listen to an extended version of an hour ✨
Thanks! Remember you can always put it on loop!
@@Galax_Music I actually do this whenever I'm in an epic battle from Shin Megami Tensei or another game -w-)
This is absolutely INSANE! I love it
Thanks Kilian!
Its very good
Thanks for making it
Thanks to you for listening! :)
When you are the world champion, and no one can be better than you.
THIS IS FUCKING AWSOME. went back on my gb advance just to battle red to this theme. I feel like I have been through hell battling him again 💀💀
Thanks! I love turning tracks into a hellish, apocalyptic style.
Will this be available on iTunes at all?
I haven't uploaded Red's Theme anywhere except for UA-cam and Soundcloud. I might think of doing it in the future.
This has great epicness
My elder brother listened to this while I was listening to it. I could see fear in his eyes sweating. When I asked him a competetive playerwhy he was his reply surprised me. Probably Red was the only trainer to have ever defeated him both in original and remakes. According to him even though his team( the remake especially) lacked type versatility unlike cynthia, he had the raw power to make any champion look like an elite 4. He describes that battle like nothing he ever faced outside of a battle facility the battle where he fought a force far greater than a champion A LEGEND.
P.S. He has played every pokemon game till now.
The Johto games also has horrible level curves
Volo?
@@musicforeveryone7960 dont know how but he defeated him on his first try. That guy does not even loose anymore🤷
1:43 is where things get real heated.
Fr
Pokémon Master Red did not climb Mount Silver.
Mount Silver grew where Pokémon Master Red decided to stand.
This has no right being this flipping good
Pardon me
@@Galax_Music sorry if that came across rude that was a joke (not the it being really good part)
@@snow-8667 No problem :) I was joking too haha
When playing the game and beat elite 4 you don't really feel like the battles are epic. Best ones was against Lance but as you climb that mountain you see him. A true Legend and you have to appreciate Golds shock of what that means when sends out a Pikachu on steroids and realizes the gravity of the situation he's in. To this point he fought many weak opponents a few challenging ones but before him is a legend he's been hearing tales about with his journey in kanto.

i find it cool how the hame subtly hints that when battling red as gold its telling you the only way to win is by defeating yourself
If I wanted to be more successful, all I can ask for is to listen to my tracks from beginning to end since it will make the YT algorithm notice my video. The more viewer retention, the higher the chance of it being recommended.
Bro check out zame. He has stellar remixes.

Tss this Theme Remix reminds me of the feeling on that day when i first meet Red in Johto and i was definetly not ready. Got destroyed like never before
Ah, yes, Red, the only battle I was ever truly terrified of. You never defeat Red. You simply survive him, and then pray you never have to fight him again.
The one who started it all
Underrated cover
Thank you! :)
would face down Arceus themself with this at my back, good work dude. duder? dudette? whatever you prefer I got you against god themself.

Thanks a lot Nicholas! I'll write down your requests although my channel is blowing up right now and there are other people making requests but I do only take them when I feel like it.

P.S. Of your 4 suggestions the most probable to be remixed first is the Unova Gym Leader
Earned a sub 💪🏼
When you fuse every Kanto Pokémon into a single omnipotent being:
Amazing... Came here from pedro araujo's pkmn red movie..
Wow. Chillls, literally chills😊
Red is the Messi of Pokemon. He can lose a battle here and there against a few other prodigies, but he's the ultimate trainer.
The most well known trainer. But I don't think anything will ever top Volo's fight in Legends Arceus. That is literally the only battle I ever lost on my first try aside from Red on Mount Silver. But instead of being underleveled, I was outnumbered (Volo technically has 8 mons fighting for him, versus my 6)
I love it!
