I honestly really prefer Undertale's simple story really and no twists or turns. But... even through I am confused on Deltarune with assuming Kris just the Knight and not some crazy Chara-like kid from Undertale... idk man. I am excited, but confused. Thanks for sharing this through. Just goes to show that my guess of Toby saying "and just one ending?" On the site was sus, as he wouldn't tease it otherwise.

Kris is the kight, he is opening the fountains so that he can destroy this world, beacouse he knows that everyone is a puppet and that everything isn't real. When he takes out the knife at the end of chapter 1, he is doing that to open the dark fountain that created the Cyber world. But then, us the players tale control of him, amd we make him seal the fountain that he opened.
Beardley has determination. The Queen established this when she mentioned he was her back up for the dark fountain plan. He'll probably revive sooner or later once the ice thaws and he can move again.
this fight is so fucking cool dude I totally would've hated it if I got it first time though because I was super disinterested in fighting anything else after the normal ending with queen new favorite toby fox character though gj on this monster, finally the mettaton neo dream is true
One thing I noticed in this route that I don’t think anyone has pointed out: at the end of the Spamaton Neo fight, you have to call for help. Kris tries calling for everyone else, but nothing happens. But after Kris cycles through his other companions, screaming for someone to help him… He whispers for Noelle. And yet, she arrives all the same. Some people have been talking about how neither characters want this route, and I think this is the definitive proof. It seems like Kris knows you’re going to get to Noelle, so he tries everyone else first, trying to stall you, but when he cycles to Noelle, he whispers it, probably hoping that she won’t hear that voice that will tell her what to do. Absolutely chilling.

idk, i kinda noticed Kris up to a point realized the mistakes of his actions at the very end after realizing he just was not going to be able to kill Spamtron. it did end rather the same as Chapter 1 though, your choices didnt matter much since the end result was the same, except for a few notable stuff, like Noelle's state of mind and Birdley now being, uh... comatose...

thats how i felt after realizing i went into the fight with only Kris and couldnt really heal and got owned in like 3 turns
