Hi Crys’Dawna 👋 I love your work, this faux denim grass cloth video moved me from stuck to all systems go on a piece that I was working on. This is beautiful! The deeper blue gave so much depth. I've never used paint like this before, it almost looks like you could trowel it on. Very cool. If you get into doing denim and grasscloth more in the future, I recommend picking up a flogging brush. They are long bristle dragging brushes.
Beautiful! I use another brand of clay based paint. How long do you wait to do a second coat? I love when the artists I follow use different brands of products. I find that there are different paints for different projects. I just have a problem sometimes with the clay based paint because it reactivates so easily with water. Super easy for clean up!
Hi Sheri!! So I wait a few hours, I will say this clay based paint does to reactivate like some of the others, I almost feel like it has more binders in it vs your typical clay paint if I am being honest. I say that because straight clay paints will dry superrrr light and then when you seal them they darken, this one didn't.
