Hey Everyone, you should check out Dirt Finatics. They are a much younger team. Like going back in time like 10 years with these guys. HTF will always be my favorite but love seeing the young guns trying to follow in tbeir footsteps.

Man, had I known "time lapse" sped things up that much, I sure would have used it a long time ago ....... but no -- worked late night after night in order to get ready (even at times had taken a day off work to get "work" done!)!!!! ..... Gator Bait, love it - Somethin' that'll stick with Jesse for many moons. Bristol... Wow! I can say that TV and pictures don't do the track justice. If yall get a chance, go up top and look down, you'll see exactly what is meant. 1st though is Southern with the Super -- "shake down" was good even though the state of the track didn't show anything really - 'cept dust, but boy did it sound good. --- a lot of work in replacing a body, esp. with the decking too. Bright side is that ya didn't hafta bend it out, fit and measure. Always the best of luck guys. Maybe one more vid for wraps before hammer-down. Let's Goooooo! Yep! Last time they run up there they were wheels were a flying off!! LOL But they have taken some banking out of it this time. That may help
Its also Different dirt and clay surface on the track this time around, compared to 20 years ago but they did use most of the old dirt and clay in the construction of the current surface,, they kept piled up on the BMS property from 2000 and 2001
I sure like they way Capital has the body all cut and bent to fit, unlike having to cut it out of a 4 by10 sheet and bend it on the brake myself. You guys have got it going on , and got a hella of a financial sponsor as well.

Having a spare rearend that you do not have to take out of another car.
Would probably be the recommended thing that should be invested in among other things like engines that should be on the list of spare items to get.
Very true, specially if your doing big race meetings over 2or 3 nights. Plus it’s a big bonus having 3 cars the same, spares can fit all 3 cars without having to wait for new parts to arrive.

I watch all your videos it's a lot of fun to watch I want you guys step up by the Lincoln Illinois so we could watch you run on the hell tour.
We ran some high bank tracks we ended up run outrages roll out. I never worked on your type of cars so I don't know if it can be transferred from the cars we ran ( Sprinters ) to your style. But the track were very high banking so high that on of the cars stopped on a red flag in the middle of the turn and fell over. Not kidding. I think the drivers name is Sheryl Glass. She raced out here on the west coast in the 80s. We ended up running 20 inches of roll out. Just something to put in your set up thinking.
Speaking of spoilers....Shepard in the Rocket XR1 house car was practicing at Bristol with a 5-6 inch tall spoiler for aero....fast time!!
As a metal roof fabricator, that looks super fun hanging bodies. Would love to see how the skins are made and the tools used to form them.

Well from what I have seen, breaking or bending the wall at Eastbay does seem like a real possibility.
Also people glowing in the dark after being there a while is another possibility. Due to the fact, that the waste that is being dumped in the landfill across the way. Has a low amount of radioactivity to it according to the interview with the owner/promoter on dirt on dirt, earlier this year...
