Tony just dishing out mass amounts of quality content these past few weeks! Hell yeah!!
Thanks! We have been working long and hard on it!
@@StayTunedTA if you pass through Southeast MO, south of STL, 4x4 89 S-10 blazer 2door with a 4.3 here. Got some quarter rust, but its been garaged for 20 years.
Holy Chrysler, the content has been bitchin, the episodes roll out faster than motortrend, and fun as hell to watch ❤ it Tony!!
The subs will come dude.
We’re watching his climb to UA-cam glory
Tony and Finn, back wrenching on a tri-five? Im in. Honestly I'm in either way. Go Tony and Crew!!!
Hell yeah! Tony and Finn! Of course we will need a future BlaspHemi and Cheap and Dirty ROAD TRIP!
Like to see them both hashing it out in drag week!
Best ACTUAL hot rod /build channel on UA-cam. No filler bullshit not doing builds because they have too but because they want too! Big difference you can feel the energy difference in that. Keep giving us they awesome content STAY TUNED! 💯🔥💪🏼💪🏼
Tony I just want to say thanks for the years of entertainment and gearhead wisdom. Your a standup guy and deserve the success you’ve worked so hard for.
Couldn't be happier for a dude Ive never met! Thanks for taking us along for the ride Tony!
Congratulations Tony! The 55 is coolest car ever in my opinion!
Same, its the perfect car in my opinion
Tony is getting more respect than ever from me because he’s real and an open book. The cars are interesting to watch, good diversity and relatable.
I totally agree with you, sitting in a tri-5 does give you that special feeling.
My daily driver in the 70's was a '55 Chevy 210 2 door, with a stroked 327, 3 speed and 4:56's. British racing green with black tuck and roll. At the same time, I street raced a '65 Chevy Malibu SS with a 454, 4 speed and 4:88's.
I'm 81-years old, and you are talking to one of the original '55 Chevy owners and hot-rod custom guys. I got my first 55 in 1962 straight out of high school. A cherry 2-door dark green Bel Air 265 3-speed with overdrive. She was sweet, and girl magnet for sure! I put some full cone hubcaps on her that transformed her like I could hardly believe...lol! I got five more, all 210's with posts, right out of the Navy into college. Transformed the first one, into the hottest '55 in the Northwest In 1967. I was fortunate enough to acquire one of Jim Hall's hypo 327 back-up Chevy Chaparral long block's for only $800. (I never new what was in it?) Put a set of Corvette hypo heads on the alum. long block (best thing I could get at that time). The heaviest clutch I could get with HD drag-fast shifter, Anson bullet proof bell housing, 4:ll third member, and rebuilt rear axel and HD drag racing spring clamps (believe it or not, that was all I needed when installed right!). She turned 130 mph in 10.2 sec.! The next two were show cars, and my last was a totally stock light green automatic 6-banger with left over show car parts, like extra thick HD baby soft black naugahyde with 2" diamond tucked upholstery through-out (seats, doors, panels, and head-liner) from one of my show cars. I loved all my '55's, but I literally cried when I had to sell the last one, because she was going to be my forever '55! Our first baby was born with a rare disease, and we needed the money! So, please return your car to it's original beauty; paint her the light blue/cream two tone, replace the original body chrome, reinstall the original hood bird ornament, remove all the stock garbage on the front bumper, and 14"x8" black police interceptor wheels, with stock baby hubcaps with the white bow-tie. Install a set of wide BFG red-line radial tires. Heat the front coil springs evenly, enough to put a nice little rake on her. That's my take... Have fun!
Love the ‘55. I’m thinkin’ flat black with a red metal flake roof would look pretty sweet!
Gotta do something different from blasphemi
That is different than Blasphemi, it’s not gold… 🙄
That 55 is going to be a great project 👍👍
Grew up when 55-57's were everywhere.. had a '56 1st, then a '55 & finally a '57 tudor wagon C-D/Gas street & strip drag car, (tilt front end, fenderwells, M22, [several] & a couple 10K RPM, tunnel ram 302's). Used to run 348/409 11" flywheels, when I could find them; otherwise, a 12" truck flywheel w/ 11" pressure plate & 10.5" disk - a gear bangin' combo, plus a 40-some # flywheel for hole shot torque! LOL
Then, 15 yrs later, built a concept '1957 F/C', (if they existed in '57), based on a perfect 55 tudor sedan I cut into pieces for the skin, & made a chopped windshield roadstar.
Had a Hilborn Injected 392 Hemi from an alcohol FC, narrowed, box gusseted '57 Olds rear end w/ wheelie bars from a '62 Corvette Roadster gas dragster a friend bought & turned back into a street car.
The frame was a concession to safety; Alston rails, then built a cage on them. The front suspension was a deviation from era for sanity & safety.
The new Camaro came out in early '80's w/ the semi McPherson strut, (divorced spring). As soon as parts were available, bought a set of Koni drag shocks, then had a friend turn a pair of threaded sleeves to fit them & Koni jam nuts & turned GM's semi McP into real McP's for a fraction of the cost, (McPherson strut drag csrs were cutting edge; woulda cost me as much as the engine & rear end did.
Never raced the car. Got it rolling & running but still short on interior metal, seat, safety equipment, then was offered a job in Florida, working at Vero Beach for the Dodgers as Athletic Trainer for the Vero Beach minor league club & in charge of post-surgical rehab for entire organization.
I had been working for them in the NW League, (short season), & they reorganized rehab & designed the job for me. Bought new equipment for Dodger Stadium, then built a rehab facility @ Dodgertown & moved the replaced equipment there.
Any player who had surgery came to me for rehab, played a week or 2 in Vero, then moved back up to where they came from, in how ever many steps they needed, (high A, AA, AAA & MLB above Vero). Younger players from below Vero played in a unofficial Rookie League at the Mets complex in Port St Lucie.
Couldn't take the car, since baseball involves too much travel & didn't have a safe place to store it, (I lost my '57 wagon by storing it, so wasn't gonna risk it, again.), so I sold it.
Always wanted a '55 post w/ a BBC & 4 speed, tho... mebbe you can live my dream for me, Tony.
I'm stoked you decided to give your own channel a shot Tony, you and your boys having a jam working on stuff is nice and refreshing.
WILD! I can't imagine the rush of the first couple laps around a legendary track! So cool
It was INTENSE for sure, and with all those maniacs flying all over, I won't soon forget it.
@@StayTunedTA YOU MIXED IT UP WITH GUYS WHO RACE FOR A LIVING DUDE!
Excited to see the progress with the Quick n' Durty
Tony, seeing your's and Mike's excitement about the 55 warms my heart. I'm 71 now but started out with a 210 like yours and then got a wagon. My fondest memories of my high school days involve that wagon. Eventually it had a 'glass doghouse with a bubble hood. I miss that car every day. Have fun with that one .
I loved my TRI FIVES!!!! Welcome to the club! FROD style... Simple Super nasty normally aspirated Big Block dual quad tunnel ram running low nines
It's badass how you went from working for MT on HRG and Roadkill, to making your own channel that combines both and makes it better. Also the music is so rad
The shot toward the end of the shadow 55 on a trailer going down the road...perfect. Driving home with a new project is the best feeling. Great show man.
Hell yes. Loved 7777 car getting pushed wide and then diving to the corner. Sweet move!
Loving your 55! It made my heart feel good to see the dream team back together. You and Finnegan could talk about anything and I'd be down. ❤
My favorite is the 55. Killer car Tony.
55 Chevy!!! HellYeah I’m in. 🤘🤘🤘Beer and a Slice Time. Ready to Stay Tuned. Let’s Go!!
Let's go bud! I'm in MD so I might get a crab cake and a brew tonight!
@@StayTunedTAI ain’t gonna lie. I’m doing Sharp Italian Hoagie and Tall Boy tonight. Ha ha. Enjoy that Crab Cake brother!
My man Tony is taking over the yt car content with his phenomenal quality and dope ass knowledge
Absolutely awesome episode Tony. So nuts to see so many people I watch at a track that I love so dearly. Kudos to Cleetus, Finnegan and Derek. Fantastic...until you blew the motor! Can't wait to see you do that Tri 5
I was born in ‘55…turned 18 in ‘73…luckily missed the draft for Vietnam (1H draft card)…bought my ‘70 Competition Orange Mustang Mach 1 351C 4-speed in ‘74 with 50K on the odometer for $1800…lived the muscle car scene in SoCal. I love that you young guys are keeping the muscle car/hot rod scene alive!
This is epic Tony had a feeling and man she is clean im so happy for you brother....im absolutely diggin "Stay Tuned"
as an OG roadkill person who watched from the start its nice to see we can all grow our bellies togeather
That car is in such good shape. I cant wait for this amazing journey!
Looking forward to this project, Tony and team!
Took me long enough to watch this episode! You can never go wrong with a '55!
It's Friday and it's going down. Been parked (trucker) and waiting for hours for the drop. Tony and the boys are throwing the heat.
Simple quick builds that are the balls.
Only suggestion is less pizza (nothing but junk franchise pizza at my spot) and get weird. Sky's the limit when things are done on a budget and from the junkyard.
All the love to the Tony crew
Hell yeah Toby! Toot that honkey horn!
He didn't bump you, he didn't nudge you, he didn't slam you, he RUBBED you, and rubbing son, is racing. I'm not a Chebby guy, but even I would buy that '55 in a second. That has to be a bucket list car for every hotrod/muscle car guy.
Congrats! Nice 55!
That brown turning into copper is a sick color scheme
1955, the year I was born, the year my dad started working for G.M. and the year of the best Chevy ever built. Nice acquisition Tony, very, very nice!!!
The in car commentary was gold 😂 loving the content as always 🤘🏻
Appreciate it!!
Tony I can’t get enough of you and the team. I can’t believe I didn’t know about your channel until a month ago!
That thing need those rear quarters radiused asap! Can't wait to see what kind of ripper it'll turn into. Tony and the homies are pumping out some of the best content in UA-cam in years. Showing you can still have a lot of fun without spending a lot of money.
Hell yeah Bad Ass Hot Rod !!!
Loved watching you and Finnigan talk about its potential!
This build is going to be awesome! Can't wait to see Tony blow it up!
I'm so happy for you Tony. It looks just like my 55 210 that I had in HS. I had 301 with 2- 4 barrels. Damn I wish I still had it. I paid $300 for it and sold it when I went in the Army.
Love the soundtrack on this video. Keep up the good work guys!
What weve all been waiting for, cant wait to see the build.
Watch the video and forgot to give it a thumbs up...Made sure I came back watched it again and gave it a thumbs up...Can't wait to see the next video already...Love this channel
That is bad ass !! Tri-5 gassers are so dang Rad ! I want …. Looking forward to seeing what you and Finnigan come up with . He’s a bad ass like you !
Jee wiz Tony, that 55 is the essence of cool. Please give her a seventies period paintjob, true to her racing roots. A rich brown metal flake with a snake scaled roof in electric green, complete with her name in silver leaf would be sick. Congrats Man.
Getting a good crown vic for the race is like the lottery, great video! Thanks
This channel is the shit takes me back to hanging with the homies working on somebody's car or out skating just goofing off getting into mischief love it
Perfect Ep, Great Fan Service Discussing Plans With Finnegan, Love Your Chanel. You Have To Bench Press A Gearbox Into This Thing (My Daughter Demands It). Outside North America We Love The Illusion That Two Doors In That Condition are Found In Every Second Barn.
Dude! Perfect timing! We just got one of these also! 38 years in a dry basement!
This music reminds of watching old Rockcrawling DVD in college. 🤘🏻
Good job I had a 55 back in the70s best time of my life enjoy Tony I am sure you are going to make a great ride look forward to seeing it
Even as a big of a Ford guy as I am, it’s hard to deny the beauty of a 55 Chev. Maybe it’s all the Hot Wheels I had as a kid of the 70’s, but it’s one of those cars I’ve always wanted. A coyote swapped, 55 would be sweet! Lol
I gotta be honest….one of my favorite parts of your videos is the old school punk rock garage style band style music. Don’t ever change that.
All the tri five frames are a box frame, the california frame is seamless. That is the difference.
The content machine you have turned into is very impressive. Keep up the good work Tony and team!!
Can’t wait to see the build on the ‘55 you guys are killin it. Look forward to this every week
Tony and Mike. Frick yeah
two lane black top is the perfect coming down off acid movie for a car guy
Two things I appreciate about your channel, Tony:
1: Awesome punk rock soundtrack! So much better than everyone else's music!
B: Always a good time hanging out with you, your crew, and your friends!
Can't wait to see what happens with Cheap N Dirty...✌️❤️🙂🇨🇦
More Tony and Finnegan content in the future!? Hell ya! Side by side tri 5 passes at drag week? 💪
Always love Mike and Tony together on screen. Magic.
so stoked for this project! lets go!!!
This soundtrack rules.
You know it's a hot rod when it's got a chrome diff cover.
It's definitely wicked cool
My first car was a black and white 55 chevy. The guy I sold it to in the 90s still has it and drives it regularly.
Dope AF, Tony! But I'm thinking "Skidmark Chevy" for the name.
19:45 #tonybrokeit 🤣🤣🤣 the right pedal only has one position and that’s down. You’ve made us all proud. #cleetus gave you junk!! 😜
favorite car of all time ever since i saw two lane blacktop .
Wow! Just a Dream for me! Party on and just Rock it!
Dude!!! Keep it Old school!!! You'll have more fun!!!✌️
AMERI BARRA THE 55 BOX CHEVY!!!!!
I gotta say, along with the great content... Tony has the best soundtrack in his videos.
Seriously, what's with that font? Are you actually a demon or something?
I'm not selling you my soul, Beelzebub!
Another awesome episode. Thanks for sharing this Tony 🙌 🤘👍
SICK 55!!! Internet legend is 1 of the 3 "2 Lane Blacktop" 55's used was the black "American Graffiti" 55 that was sadly crashed in that movie.
Get the car done bring it to the trifive nats, park with us got great times & great food. And I'll have a cold beverage of your choice waiting on you.
Tony and the crew your killing it! Less b roll and filler please. Your such a fun dude to watch. More killer less filler!!
Man, I am EXCITED to see what's to come of this '55!
Hell yeah! Excited for this.
SOOOOOOOOOOO Much better !!!!
living the dream baby!
Such an awesome car, Tony… great find! Can’t wait to see what you do with it!
Congrats on the ‘55, Dude. tough break on the C-Vic motor…you were picking them off & making your way up to the leaders. the footage looked like a badass time out there in a legendary & relevant track. too GD cool, Tony. that was a sweet weekend, eh?
23:35... Already got a name. Super cool. The explanation of number 96... way to honor your friend. Thanks for bringing us along.
You come to the stay tuned channel for the cars, but stay for the fire soundtrack. Videos always have the old skatepark vibes and I’m here for it.
The 55 is my dream car , and that car has no idea the new lease on life it will get from T&A , I already love this build it’s going to be so sick . Cheers 🇨🇦
Hi Tony, that view going up the entrance ramp and down onto the track is memorable. I had a chance to run my 2013 Corvette Grand Sport around that track. 2019 we were headed to National Corvette Museum as part of the Corvette Caravan. Our area leader was able to put together for all that wanted to a 6 lap run. We went out 6 Vettes at a time following a pace car. We could go as fast as the slowest car in our group. Unfortunately we had a 62 Vette in our group of C6’s and C7’s needless to say our speed was not as fast as we could have gone. Still so much fun.
Awesome car ! My grandfather has a red 57 unmolested one . They are something special for sure
What a blast!
freaking nice, can't wait to see the build videos!
So keen for 55 build videos!
The American Graffiti '55 and the Two Lane Blacktop '55 are actually the same car. Pretty cool how it's been in two movies. Congrats on getting yours!
LOVE IT!! my favorite car of all time..friends of mine ran a 55 B/G 426 hemi back in the late 60's early 70s,..
that looks like a 60"s gasser all day long..
Thanks for keeping Punk and rock alive in the car scene. I love the real real.
Nice Find!. 1956 210 here. Will Never sell. Would love to have a 54 Belair, Slammed with all the rubber that would fit in that Fat, , , FENDERS,, and 2K+ Hp of course for a high 3 sec pass. The 54's are very proud with the Low Riders. Some are Astounding Art.
Those crossed switch blades over a keystone! PA Legend
