Just gave birth on Mother’s Day and went through a not planned unmedicated labor. I watched a lot of your videos and definitely helped me a ton. Went in 8cm dilated and quickly transitioned to 9.5 in less than 5 mins. The minute I found out I had epidural in mind but when they asked me I said forget it while using all the techniques my husband and I learned from your videos. Everything happened so quickly after 2 hours of labor from the time I felt water leaking up to the time I pushed baby out with 3 breathing pushes, he was out giving me the best first Mother’s Day gift ever. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. God bless your heart.
I had a fast 5.5 hours labor, without medications or whatsoever. I have to say that these breathing techniques, along with other videos of yours definitely helped me to have a beautiful birth experience. For those of you who read these comments: I feel you, I was reading all of them during my pregnancy haha. You are lucky that you found Bridget! And good luck with your future baby. My boy is 4.5 months now, and I decided to write this comment to encourage you and tell you that you are fine, you will do fine. Hope this will be soothing for some of you, as this is the type of comment that I would have loved to read during my pregnancy :D
@@aryaangel457 Hi, congrats! Mostly this one above about breathing techniques. But I watched almost all her videos and I think that they helped me to have the right mindset. She really focuses on the fact that birth is something that every women can do, and you too have the power to do it!
I’m not joking when I say this, I watched this video and 2 others of Bridget’s a few days before I gave birth (3 maybe 4 days before) I didn’t take any classes nor was I even sure if I’ll commit 100% doing natural unmedicated birth. This is my second giving birth and did epidural with my first but after learning more about epidural and it’s effects I leaned more towards unmedicated. Anyway, I just gave birth doing just these breathing exercises and listening to Christian music. Almost 4hrs of labor and welcomed baby after only 3 pushes. Nurses were confused why I was so calm. Only started screaming (forgetting to focus on breathing) at 10cm and during pushes, no tear, and recovery was way faster than with epidural. I did have intrusive thoughts towards the end wanting epidural but I’m glad I stuck by it. Thank you for sharing your knowledge freely for us to find comfort in our own abilities!
I thought you were absolutely bonkers with the "mooing"...until I found myself mooing my baby out without tearing! My nurse and on call doctor both said "wow you didn't even push" I said "I just let my body do its thing and breathed"! Thank you!
Bridget, I just gave birth to my 8lbs and 1 oz, 20 inches baby boy at 4:02 today. My first 2 labor and deliveries were filled with anxiety, screams, tension, tears, and fear. I was in my early 20s at the time. I am now 36, and watched so many of your videos before today. I honestly amazed myself (and not to mention all the nurses) today. I NEVER would have thought that I (who have an immense low tolerance for pain) would get through labor and delivery with no epidural, no IV medication, no screams, no tears streaming down my face, and just 1 or 2 brief moments of doubt, which with the help of your techniques, mantras, my husband and great nurses, I conquered my fear and pushed through. I will admit though, when it came time to push and that "ring of fire" made its presence, I screamed like a mad woman to push through that and bring my son into the world. With three quick pushes he made his grand entrance and all the pain and worry subsided the moment I layed my eyes on him. Thank you SO MUCH for all you did for me, I will take everything I learned to my future pregnancies, labor and deliveries. To all the mommas out there, although labor and delivery could never be pain free, it doesn't have to be our biggest fight or fear. If I can do it so can every one of you!
The comments makes me so emotional! I am 30 weeks and I’ve been watching your videos every day. I am so emotional right now thinking of my baby in my arms! I can’t wait to put all of this in practice. I pray every day for a safe and positive birth!
I listened to this video every night before bed for 1-2 months. I started to have contraction at 7:30am. Early labor went into active labor at 8:30am with contractions lasting 1 minute long, 5 mins apart. We got to the hospital at 9:30am. I was at 9cm dilated. Changed into my gown and hopped onto the bed. Doctor said it’s too late for an epidural and told me I had to push. In my mind, I thought to myself, “how am I going to push this baby out?! It’s happening too fast.” Then I said, okay I’m going to give J breathing a try. 3 pushes later, baby girl came out. Thank you so much for educating us on child birth! I could not have done it without your guidance. I also met you in person at a local church and you are such a genuine person. So down to earth and loving. Can’t wait to see baby #3 come this winter! ❤
Returning to this video to give kudos and appreciation for your videos! I made it through 23 hours from beginning to end (12 hours of labor, 3 of those hours pushing 😅) . There’s no way I could’ve made it through if it weren’t for the breathing techniques. Whoever is watching, breathing is EVERYTHING. Practice throughout your pregnancy, don’t take the focus off of it once it’s time. You can do it!
@@iamwhoyousayiam6773 breathing techniques are key, I walked around the hospital the whole time I was in labor until it was time to start pushing ,being on the hospital bed made the pain worse for me. And lastly but most importantly having a very calm person in there with you will help you stay calm
I thought some of this breathing was a little funky, to be honest. I was in the delivery room, and I just thought, "Breathe your baby out" from your videos. I focused on breathing through my entire labor, and at one point, the doctors asked if I was pushing, just because of my breathing (they seemed genuinely confused). I was already an hour into pushing and getting tired, and the "J" breathe really helped move her down without making me more tired. It was NO JOKE! Breathing really works. I had the epidural, too, but because I had less pain, I could also focus more on relaxing and breathing. I had a wonderful birth experience (1st baby), and it was big-time thanks to your videos. THANK YOU! ❤️
We're practicing these now..... She doesn't know but I've been watching so I can be the best coach there is! Thank you soooooo much for helping me be better at being there for her.... We're excited! She's gonna do great. Just about 2 weeks until crunch time! Again, thank you. You've helped us sooooo much
Update.... She went through 38 hours of labor.... And did it all as an absolute champion. (While going through our breathing techniques) It was out of our hands, but she had to have a c section. Benjamin Alexander was born April 28th at 9:18. Both mama and Benjamin are doing absolutely amazing! Thank you soooooo much for your videos. You helped us tremendously!
I thought I knew which breathing techniques I would use during labor, but all of the ones I tried didn't keep my focus, calm me down or help me manage the pain. I watched this video, started practicing it then used it on my next contraction and I immediately went from feeling out of control to being calm. This technique built my confidence back up and made me believe that I can do this. I'm still in labor, so I will continue using it!
Just gave birth 2 weeks ago! I had an at home water birth and it was the BEST experience! I couldn’t have imagined it going any better!! I binged watched Bridget’s videos in my third trimester and let me tell you she is the goat! 🙌🏾 I was so scared and anxious to give birth but I watched a ton of her videos leading up to my delivery and I believe that is what made the difference in my labor! Using these breathing techniques almost made it “easy.” Keyword ALMOST 😂.. but it really is mind over matter!! You control the surges, they don’t control you! Love you mama you got this❤💪🏾🙏🏾
I am due any day with baby #3 & also opting for a water birth. Binging these videos as well. Thanks for the encouragement! Looking forward to the water & meeting our baby 🥰
Just gave birth 3 days ago. The destresser breath helped me get through labor. I was planning of having a medication but arrived at the hospital 5cm dilated without waterbreaking and was advised epidural is not possible. 30 minutes later gave birth with our precious baby girl. Thank you for this ❤
I had my first baby in April 2021, and watched this video the night before I went into labour. So glad I did! I was able to breathe through my contractions and have an unmedicated birth! I recommend this content to all expecting parents!
I used your breathing techniques while in labour and the hospital director came around and was like... "I never knew we had a patient in labour and you're already 9cm dilated without making a noise or shouting out of pains, 2 j-breathing brought my beautiful baby girl out. God bless you for all your videos, they've been very helpful to me ❤️❤️
Nervous first time mom to be and all of these comments are so positive and reassuring. Definitely going to practice these and praying for an easy natural birth🙏🏽
Okay, so I HAPPENED to find this video about a week before I went into labor. The destresser breath was the single most effective method to manage 26 hours of unmedicated back labor. It was amazing. I was uncomfortable, of course, but counting my breaths truly revolutionized my birthing experience (it was a super positive birth!!). I had my birthing team count my breaths aloud through each contraction. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Gave birth to my beautiful baby girl on June 10th 2022. Cannot thank you enough. Breathing was THE most important thing that got me through almost 18hours if unmedicated birth. I don't think I would have lasted that long and managed the pain so well without the techniques spoken about here. I was in control of my contractions through out! Was not easy but I did it!! Thanks a ton 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I had the most incredible birth experience last night thanks to your breathing techniques. My midwife even asked where and how I managed to stay so calm and centred throughout all the stages of labour. I even attended a “calm birth course” recently which didn’t really tell me anything new. Your breathing techniques really work! Thanks so much for sharing this with the world.
I watched your other video about breathing techniques. It really help me a lot when I gave birth last month. I came to the hospital at 5 am, 9 cm dilated already. Pushed baby out at 6:32 am without Epidural. It was painful but with breathing techniques and positive mind, it was all worth it! Thank you!!!
I gave birth this morning, and, Bridget, you are one of the first persons that I want to thank. What you do and what you have done in your channel has helped me tremendously throughout my labor and delivery. Just a background, I am first time mom, and have a very low pain tolerance as a person. But with your help I delivered a 3.4kg healthy baby through long grueling hours of back labor (occiput posterior) without epidural. Your breathing techniques and affirmations has helped me through it all. Aside from the supportive and competent staff here, I want to thank you for what you do... empowering women to see this wonderful experience as natural as it is super-natural. Again, thank you so much, Bridget.
I’m so glad you shared this comment, I am a first time mum due In a few weeks, I have low pain tolerance and I know I am an anxious person and will be prone anxiety and fear making pain worse ! It’s really great to see your comment and how much these breathing techniques helped you, I may have some hope to have unmedicAted birth yet :) congratulations to you and thank you for sharing it has helped me a lot to feel calmer
I just gave birth two weeks back and I believe two things really helped me. First I used this breathing technique and educated myself with all the information from this beautiful channel offers. Thank you so much Bridget, you're God sent!! God bless you!Second prenatal yoga- game changer. Let me tell you the breathing techniques helped me so much at the time of labor. I had dilated 4cms without my knowledge and got admitted at 4pm. About 5 pm I was in the labor room after all the formalities and was still relaxed, wasn't feeling any pain but there were contractions. I dilated 5 to 6 cms by 5:30 pm. The midwife decided to induce me slightly, the contractions got stronger but were still bearable up until 6:30 pm. I didnt need epidural. I kept breathing using this technique. The unbearable contractions were the last three and I birthed at 6:56 pm. To be honest, the toughest part lasted only the last half hour. Up until then it was manageable. I do strongly believe that the breathing techniques and prenatal yoga totally made it possible to have such a smooth delivery.. ♥️ This is my first baby and I'm 34.
Hello, i need to ask something. Do i need to do "destresser breathing technique" even during labor ? Or just until before labor ? I am 36 week pregnant and doing this breathing technique these days Thankyou
@@maryamshahryar2553 Hi, practice both breathing techniques before labor so you're not figuring out how it should feel at the time of delivery. I used the destresser when I had no pain to little pain. I used J breathing towards the end when the pain was unbearable because I needed to release all that pain in some productive way. I hope this helps and all the best. Have faith it'll be easy and talk to your baby about how smoothly everything will work out and eventually you two will meet!
Just had my little one 2 days ago! Using these breathing techniques really helped me through the pain (I was totally unmedicated). This was my second pregnancy and this labor was much faster! But I was so much more present to focus on my breathing because everything progressed so fast. I pushed for only 7 minutes! These techniques helped me focus through the surge and bring my baby down. I will also always say LADIES! If you have the option to labor in the tub, do it! It helps so much with the pain.
Just want to say thank you! I had my little boy yesterday, blessed to have my second, uncomplicated drug-free labor and delivery. I was remembering your breathing techniques the whole way through and my doctor and nurses kept saying they were so impressed with my breathing
Hello, i need to ask something. Do i need to do "destresser breathing technique" even during labor ? Or just until before labor ? I am 36 week pregnant and doing this breathing technique these days Thankyou
I’m sitting here practicing this breathing technique, right? Well everytime I do a breath, my baby starts to kick! So I can’t breathe cause I’m laughing 😂
Just gave birth yesterday and I was able to breathe my baby out in 1 breath thanks to your videos!! I had to be induced due to preeclampsia so I was nervous of how this birth would be different because of the induction but I did not have an epidural and I literally breathed him out, without tearing. It was amazing! Completely different from my first birth (done the traditional way) I’m so thankful for your videos! I will tell every pregnant woman I know to watch your channel! God Bless You!
So I gave birth 9 months ago and before I gave birth I remember going through your videos for the first time and let me tell you!!!! When my water broke I felt contractions right away and learn how to do it and be calm and the nurses were like your so calm for being in active labor at 6 cm and in one hour I was at 10 and started pushing thank you so much!! Wish I knew with my other pregnancies this !!
I had my first babe and unmediated birth in October 2020. Your breathing techniques helped me so much! My labor and delivery nurse said I had the most control during my labor that she had ever seen. Thank you for all your great videos helping me prepare! 🤍
Oh my goodness! I just gave birth yesterday and had to come back to this video to THANK YOU SO MUCH. I used the destressor breath for the bulk of my labor up until I got the epidural, and I switched back and forth between the J breath and Lamaze breath to cope with the painful pressure at the end. Just those simple breathing techniques gave me a peaceful labor and I cannot thank you enough. This was my second and with the first I did not have these in my toolbox and I did not cope well and had a hard time in the hospital, spend most of my labor with the epidural and tore and I was anxious about coming this time. But being able to breath and relax decreased the pain with contractions like CRAZY and helped me stay on top of everything and I had a great experience this time and I cannot thank you enough just for sharing this simple tool!
Hello , just gave birth to my cute and healthy baby girl on 14th October 2021. I was induced and went through 16hrs of non stop contractions but everything went so well thanks to your breathing technique. I practice this technique everytime the pain come and it helped me to relax through the process. After 16 hrs , my baby came out with no tearing ! It's my 1st baby so I expect tearing but it did not. Thank you so much for your tips.
I watched this video to help my gf when she was having contractions. We didn't take a class but this video helped my gf get through the labor process. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
Your breathing techniques really helped me through my contractions. I was even able to pull through and have a natural birth with no pain medication. I even laid on my sides in the beginnings of my delivery and ended it on my back. Your videos helped me a lot. I just had my first baby last night. Thank you ☺️
Just had an unmedicated VBAC/TOLAC last Sunday and your videos helped me so much! Especially with the breathing and relaxation through contractions. So thankful to have gotten the birth story that I have been wanting all along!
My husband loves you using “hey parents” as opposed to “hey mamas” b/c he said now he feels like ur talking to him to make him help... lol. Today’s my due date, and I’m hoping I can use these techniques soon !
We appreciated the "hey parents" intro too. It seems like everything is centered around the mama and my husband always says he always feels like an awkward 3rd wheel when I watch videos.
@@stefunnylee yep. I had the baby at exactly 41 weeks. FYI, the breathing techniques definitely work, but the ones I didn’t fully practice we’re definitely forgotten in favor of the ones I knew a bit better, so I’d suggest practicing any ones you actually want to use!
I literally watched this the night before I went into labor. I used this technique and it created such an amazing experience! Literally was able to be aware of my surroundings my body it helped me stay calm so I can listen to my body n I was able to have a amazing water birth with labor that only lasted 12 hours including early labor and was able to push him out easily w it h barley any pushing! This also allowed my body not to have any tearing and was such a amazing experience! Thank you so so so much
I delivered a beautiful 8 pound 3 oz baby boy last week unmedicated (planned). Your videos were a huge help! I don’t think I could have gone unmedicated without having watched them especially this one. I was able to focus on my amazing husband who talked me through breathing and pushing every step of the way. I was very calm. A positive birth experience IS possible. Thank you!
I just delivered my third baby and I swear the tips in this video made all the difference. My previous 2 birth were with an epidural, and thankfully did not require any unwanted interventions, but I wanted to see if I could go unmedicated this time. This video helped me do that! I arrived at the hospital 6-7cm able to talk between contractions and cope well during them. It was harder to do the breathing during transition/pushing but I did my best and delivered my 8lb 14oz boy unmedicated and in the tub! I’m also a L&D nurse so I will absolutely be telling my patients about your videos! Thank you!!
Wow! My wife tried this exercise and I supported her during labor, we got baby soon with less pain. I would personally recommend this exercise. Thanks for the excellent video 🙏
Thank you for this video. I just had my baby 4 days ago and your videos made a big difference. I used the destresser breath for pretty much the whole thing. The breathing and internally counting made it so I could make it through my entire birth without an epidural. For the exhale I switched up between the “normal breathing out”, the “Darth Vader like haaa”, and a “low grunt” depending on the pain level. I practiced every time I got a Braxton Hicks contractions so I knew to do that instead of my natural tendency which is to freak out and tense up’ when the time came.
Gave birth on December 05,2023. Thank you so so much! This video helped me a LOT! Managing my contractions with your breathing techniques. My doctor gave me 30min left to reach 10cm dilation, if not I’ll go Caesarean. Thank God I made it on time and gave birth through normal vaginal delivery! Thank you so so so much again!
Thankyou so much .. your videos really help me during my 13 hours labour and i delivered baby boy through vaginal delivery. Your videos are best to cope up with labour pain . Keep going and help to be mommy's like us .
Thank you so much for this video and all your other videos! I just gave birth to my 6th baby yesterday naturally and I used your videos to teach myself the de-stresser breath and it carried me through my labor and delivery...the L&D RN told me that I was the most calm patient she had ever seen...It was like you were in the room with me! Thank you Bridget I could here your voice through the tough contractions saying..."you can do this mama!" Thank you for your videos what a blessing they are, keep up your great and encouraging work. By the way I am a post-partum RN and was so helped and informed by your videos.
I feel like this video is one of the top things that helped me have the birth of my dreams!! I gave birth for the first time last Wednesday and I progressed so fast and was able to do it completely unmedicated like I always wanted. Thank you Bridget for all your tips & videos!!
Thank you thank you thank you for your videos! I just gave birth yesterday. I’ve been watching all your videos for months before and while going through contractions I used your methods of counting breathes. I stayed calm and breathed through. I did have to be induced bc of babies low birth weight and also an epidural bc things got way too intense and I was preclamtic the beginning of labor.. I pushed through labor in a few short hours only pushed for a total of 11 mins and baby was out!
I just heard about breathing techniques from a lady I met at the hospital. I’m currently in bed rest at the hospital, my water broke and I’m 34 weeks. We are trying to delay delivery. I don’t know what’s to come… so for now I’m thankful I ran across this channel. I hope I learn it all.
Gave birth a week ago and did it all natural, all I thought about was these breathing techniques every contraction. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Had an amazing delivery. 5 pushes and he was out with minimal tearing!
Hey I am back just to say thank you so much! I gave birth to a happy healthy baby boy with no epidural and was able to manage my pain throughout labor! You’re the best and I will recommend you to every expecting mother I know! ❤️❤️❤️
This is my first pregnancy and I've found you about 2/3 months ago, every day I am just binge watching your vedios, the way you speak is so sincere, calming and encouraging. Thank you for your hard work This is my last month and honestly I am scared and not very much confident on myself as I a don't have much tolerance for pain.
@@ravalikag519 Horrific, I am scarred for lifetime now. I have been scarred of off c- section by people even before getting pregnant and now terrified of normal delivery so I feel really sad cause I had a wonderful journey throughout my whole pregnancy.
Oh wow.. I remember watching ur breathing techniques video few years ago while in labour. And here i am now at 39 wk pregnant with second child, watching another breathing tech video frm u... Thanks. I love your motivation nd tips
Gave birth today and these tips saved me. Natural birth all the way, my goodness towards the end I must say my husband played a key role in reminding me to breathe. Six hours labour and after 5 pushes he came out flying. I will never forget this day. Thank you for your help 🙏
@@veronicadavis3570 yes just the second degree tear, sitting in salt water 3 times a day. I pushed too hard at the end. Only remembered now I was supposed to breathe him out gradually with the j breath. Thanks for asking ^_^
i just thought that this breathing technique wont help me in labour as i hve low pain thresold but gladly it along with comb technique worked for me..blessed with a baby girl with drug free delivery jazakallah for the help
I want to thank Bridget Taylor for her hypnobirthing videos. I watched them and practised the technique weeks before due date. Yesterday I gave birth to a beautiful son without drugs and totally in control, safe and able to cope with the contractipns hypnobirthing works! I wish I had known this for my daughter!!! Although i had a drug free labour for her too, the experience was frightening, my blood pressure went very high and had to be given emergency bp .medication to bring it down. This time it didnt, the midwife was so impressed she led me lead the labour and for the active part, she allowed me to breathe the baby out instead of forced pushing. It was so beautiful, she even let me stroke his head as i was waiting for the final contraction to breathe out his body and finally cuddle him. Thanks to hypnobirthing and Bridget's videos and advice, i know have a beautiful memory of childbirth. It wasnt easy, but it was not scary. I would encourage all pregnant women to trust Bridget's words and hypnobirthing. Thank you soooo much x
I am so thankful I found these videos… I have been so scared of labor but I knew I needed to prepare and get educated … my due date is December 27th.. thanks to you am not as nervous!!!
These breathing techniques SAVED my labor! I’m finally in early labor at 40.5 weeks, thanks to your Miles Circuit video from earlier today. Been using the destress method and WOW does that make such a difference! I look forward to trying the moo’s soon!
Delivered my third baby 2 days ago and was able to BREATHE MY BABY OUT AGAIN, unmedicated; thanks to you!! This is my second delivery using your videos and techniques; 2nd baby was delivered in 1 breath, this baby was delivered in 3 breaths. I was induced for baby #2 due to preeclampsia and had to labor in the hospital. I still delivered in 1 breath (push) but the labor process was 6 hours total in the hospital. I prefer laboring at home as long as possible which I was able to do with this birth as well as my 1st baby. Contractions started at 6:15 AM. I used your breathing techniques and laboring positions. Arrived at the hospital at 10:00 AM already dilated to 8cm. Water was broken around 11:05 AM and baby was born at 11:15 AM in 3 breaths/contractions. Last delivery I used the J breath and delivered in 1 breath/ surge. This delivery the horse lips breath felt comfortable and natural for me and she was born on the 3rd surge. Everyone in labor and delivery was amazed at how calm and easy my deliveries are and that is thanks to the info you share!! Thank you so much for what you do! You are truly God Sent! 🙏🏽
Hi Bridget! I just want to send you a big thank you for your amazing videos. I gave birth to out daughter yesterday unmedicated and had a super experiance thanks to what I learned from your channel. Most of all the breathing but also knowing all the stages through labour and trusting the body. So once again thank you from Sweden!
J breathing for the win! My total time pushing was about 30 minutes. The doctors and nurses were so impressed with my ability to push as a first time mama and the J breathing didn't tire me out. I was able to get 3 pushes in each (long) contraction. Visualizing the air leaving my body helped me to push where I needed to even though I had an epidural and couldn't feel much. Thank you so much for your videos and tips. They have been so helpful and I will definitely refer friends to you!
Just wanted to leave a comment to say you are amazing. I had my first unmedicated birth in December 2019 and your videos gave me ALL of the information I needed. I felt so prepared and confident in myself. It was an amazing experience. I’m due with #3 and possibly in early labor right now actually, and I’m watching your videos as refreshers. I tell EVERYONE I know about you when they mention wanting a natural birth 💓
Thank you so much for this video❤. Being a first time mom, this video helped me immensely. I practiced the breathing techniques everyday while doing my chores and during my daily walks. When the actual labor contractions began , I automatically used these breathing techniques to ease my pain and get through 12 hours of labor with a normal delivery sans any epidural
I just had my baby last week and saw this video the night I went into labor. THANK YOU!! I had your voice in my head and was able to work on my breathing through contractions. Your voice helped me calm down so much and focus on the goal.
Just wanted to jump on here & tell everyone how your technique works!!! I gave birth August 2022 and it went so smooth because of what I learned here! It was an amazing birth experience because of it! Thank you
Hello, i need to ask something. Do i need to do "destresser breathing technique" even during labor ? Or just until before labor ? I am 36 week pregnant and doing this breathing technique these days Thankyou
You're video helped me so much during labor. I was to far along when I got to the hospital to get the epidural so breathing was all I had. The doctor asked me if I took a class and I told I'm I just watched youtube videos. They seemed impressed.
Bridget, I CANNOT thank you enough for you sharing this video. I just had our second child, first son, today at 1am. I really wanted an unmedicated birth this time as my first I had an epidural. If it weren't for this video, and a lot of your other videos, I wouldn't have made it fully unmedicated. All I could do was think of this breathing technique through every contraction and it was amazing. Still painful but this breathing helped so so much! Thank you for all you do and all the videos you have made for all us mamas. I have watched just about all your videos to get myself prepared and ready for this birth. I don't think I would've done so well if it weren't for your techniques. So again I thank you so so much for helping me accomplish my goal for this birth journey!!! You are such a blessing💙
I am 39 weeks and four days with ym second right now and have been watching her videos on repeat. Happy to hear you had such a positive birth. Praying I can take these techniques with me.
I learnt the moo push at the beginning of my pregnancy when I started getting constipated! It’s helped me avoid having any hemorrhoids 37 weeks and counting! Can’t wait to see how it helps in birth soon 💓
Had my baby today 7-2-2022 Thank-you so much for all this information you put on your channel! This breathing technique helped me have a non medicated delivery and gave me lots of confidence that I can do it. It went by so fast! Came to the hospital and within 30 minutes he was here. I have already told so many people about your channel. ❤
This video helped me soooo much. I ended up having an all natural birth because the breathing was so effective. I literally didn’t know that I was close to pushing and I almost tapped out and got an epidural. I wasn’t opposed to the idea of getting an epidural but I wanted to see how far I could go without it. I only had 1st degree tears and three stitches. Thank you!! 🤍
This video helped me have a natural labor (no pain meds or epidural). My son got stuck in my pelvis at some point while pushing for 2.5 hours so I ended up having a cesarean. Recommending this video to all my pregnant friends.
This particular video about the breathing techniques got me through the labor pain on my own at home and I was able to safely deliver my baby only 30 min after getting to the hospital in 4 pushes. The midwifes were so surprised, they told me I could get a home birth next time 😅. Thank you so much for all the helpful advice and support you are giving in your video!
Thank you so much for this educative videos. Gave birth 3days ago, it was an easy birth I couldn't believe it myself let alone the doctors and nurses. The breathing technique and taking control of the labor pains, I also listen to the affirmation during my last stage of labor it was really amazing. All in all I thank God for taking me through and for you to. Please keep educating the mamas.
I’m so glad I watched this video. I watched a lot of unmedicated birth videos out of curiosity but had decided way before to get the epidural. Well, I missed early labor entirely thinking it was prodromal or Braxton Hicks, arrived at the hospital fully dilated, and couldn’t get the epidural at all. I remembered the techniques from this video and got through it… as best I could lol.
Hi Bridget, i watched your videos everyday whilst preparing for the birth of my baby. I found them super useful. Just wanna say thank you. I gained a lot of confidence, motivation and felt empowered from ur vids. I had a good birthing experience and now my baby is almost 8 weeks. Thankful ❤
I did the destresser with my first without knowing what it was, it helped me get thru the final hours of child birth and it even helped me try to fall asleep 😭❤️
Bridget, may God bless you immensely. I had the most painless and pleasant birthing experience due to your incredible expertise. Love you tons and keep sharing your valuable videos with all mothers.
I absolutely held my breath through contractions during my labor with my oldest and it was so rough. Found your video when I was pregnant with my second and your breathing techniques and practice gave me basically the opposite labor experience! The nurses were seriously amazed at how I was getting through my contractions (I was too lol)!! Currently in the early stages of labor with my third (and last) baby and had to revisit your video! Thank you thank you for sharing this information in such an encouraging way! 🤍🤍
I just birthed my son yesterday and this video helped me get through until I got my epidural and even helped me breathe through pushing him out since I could focus so much better. ❤️ thank you for your content.
Adding this video to my favorite labor prep videos list!! This TRULY helped me SO much!! I had a pain-free, anxiety-free birth with help of your coaching!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Your videos are amazing. The breathing techniques really helped me give birth to my third child. I was 41 + 4 pregnant so I got induced labor with pitocin at 3cm dilated.I had a terrible lower back pain so I gave birth on my knees. My labor lasted for 8 hours, 3 hrs active labor and baby's head came out and just a minute or two I breathed my baby out. Eventhough I was in pain, my mind focused on breathing my baby out. Thank you so much for these wonderful videos. God bless you 😇
Watching this, showed me how to breathe, I did this through 5cm dilated before my epidural, the Dr kept asking if I was hurting, I was breathing through each contraction and it felt more like a lot of pressure after my epidural , my baby was born about 15 minutes later. I was also inducted with pre-eclampsia with the severe features at 36 weeks was on magnesium for 4 days I think , it was the most confusing scary days ever but watching your videos made it better. Thank you so much for making these videos ❤ babygirl was born pretty healthy and were home now 2 weeks later ! I nearly had to have a vacuum to help us or csection if i couldn't push her in the contractions the Dr asked me too
I want to thank you for this video. I was so scared of being in pain during labor as I do not handle pain very well. I honest did not think this would help me at all. To this day I am still shocked at how well I handled my contractions with this breathing method. Since I don’t handle pain well, I knew I wanted the epidural. I was able to wait till 7 cm dilated before getting it. I really wasn’t a huge amount of pain because of this breathing method. It just felt more like period, cramps, and not even the bad ones that I used to have as a teenager with this breathing method. I probably could have gone without the epidural, but again I was scared. Thanks to this video I was able to have a beautiful birth. I remember ever second of my birth not wanting to forget like I hear most moms want to forget the pain. But I don’t because I was not in pain. The most pain I felt was getting the epidural and that’s only because I had to lay on my side and was not able to breathe through my contractions so that was the most painful contractions I had . If I have a second child, I do plan on having it without the epidural because of this video you have in powered me to feel that way. So thank you and I will show this video to any pregnant woman to help them like it helped me.
I just gave birth a few days ago and your videos helped me a ton. Even though it was my 3rd birth, this was the first one I did a lot of research and education for. Your videos were a blessing from God. All natural unmedicated at home.
Wish that's amazing
Are you kidding!? That is absolutely amazing!!! I'm glad you had such a speedy birth. Congrats to you!!
AWESOME!!!!!
@Mary Lou Flores did you took any course from build to birth.. please suggest
That’s wonderful! Did you take the Built to Birth class?
Thank you 🧡
Thank you 😊💗
Please tell me which of her other videos helped u?? It will really Mean alot to me to do a quick homework as m due in few days
I hope u reply and u get my message 🙂
Blessed beginning for your baby! I'm so proud of you mama
That’s amazing
I thought you were absolutely bonkers with the "mooing"...until I found myself mooing my baby out without tearing!
My nurse and on call doctor both said "wow you didn't even push" I said "I just let my body do its thing and breathed"!
Thank you!
You’re giving me so much hope right now lol congratulations
Congratulations
I was blowing raspberries (alongside side saying some choice words in low tone lol), and I also didn’t have to push! Babe just slipped out :)
So your saying I won’t look crazy or nurses won’t laugh if I mooo during delivery 😅
You must have your little one by now! If you don’t mind me asking, how did it go and how is it going? 😁
I just gave birth 2 days ago. I went unmedicated and let me tell you girl. Your videos helped me tons.
Same ❤️
Any tips?
And congratulations!
@@iamwhoyousayiam6773 thank you 😊
@@iamwhoyousayiam6773 breathing techniques are key, I walked around the hospital the whole time I was in labor until it was time to start pushing ,being on the hospital bed made the pain worse for me.
(While going through our breathing techniques)
It was out of our hands, but she had to have a c section. Benjamin Alexander was born April 28th at 9:18. Both mama and Benjamin are doing absolutely amazing! Thank you soooooo much for your videos. You helped us tremendously!
@@gregbradley4072 great job papa bear!!!
You are awesome! Congratulations to your and your lady on your baby 😊
Baby #2 is on the way, everyone!!!!!
@@gregbradley4072congratulations to you both!!! :)
Really appreciate your comment 😊
2:32 and 3:22 and 9:09
Just notes for me while in labor
7:09 too
Commenting so I’ll find this comment again, because I’ll be giving birth here soon

Thank you for this ❤
Hope you're keeping good. Glad all worked out well. I'm at 38 weeks due anytime now.
I'm 33 weeks n I prayed to have a safe delivery also to other mother's. This is a wonderful video 👌👌
Congratulations! This is amazing to read, thank you for sharing your positive experience ❤️ all the best
Aw! That's awesome 👍
Damn, 9 cm?
Hi Carol. Congratulations! How were you able to monitor your dilation progress before arriving to the hospital?
@@camillesigogne5913 Thank you!
I am 36 week pregnant and doing this breathing technique these days
Thankyou
I am 36 week pregnant and doing this breathing technique these days

I’m sitting here practicing this breathing technique, right? Well everytime I do a breath, my baby starts to kick! So I can’t breathe cause I’m laughing 😂
Mine too 😂😂😂
Just gave birth yesterday and I was able to breathe my baby out in 1 breath thanks to your videos!!
Hi! Any tips for VBAC?? I am 37 weeks and that is my plan! Thank you and congratulations!
Baby yet? 😁
We loved this too!!!
Thank you!
I use Lamaze for pain management too. Never had a baby but my physio highly encouraged it for all his clients. So grateful to have learned it.
I’m starting labor, this is my week 38 and I’m about to head to the hospital. Thank you for this video, it’s been helpful
I used your breathing technics with my last baby and it was SO helpful. My midwife couldn’t believe how relaxed I was!

Thank you thank you thank you for your videos! I just gave birth yesterday. I pushed through labor in a few short hours only pushed for a total of 11 mins and baby was out!

Congratulations ❤
I am 36 week pregnant and doing this breathing technique these days
Thankyou
I’m doing the same! 24 weeks and the low moo on exhale works! Constipation significantly less!! Hoping it will work during labor as well
As in you guys use the breathing technics when you’re on the toilet?
@@rabouala yep. still do almost 8mo postpartum
Planning on doing the same.
I’m currently in labor and breathing is so important
Praying for a wonderful experience!
The most important 🙏🏼💪🏻 enjoy!! In through nose out through mouth
Best of luck mamas. You got this. Breath the pain away
Praying for a happy heathly birth for you, your partner and your baby!
May you have a amazing and easy experience .
Thankful ❤
Thanks Bridget! You’re Awesome! Your breathing technique helped me a lot. Stay blessed forever ❤
Currently in labor! Perfect timing 🥰
I did the destresser with my first without knowing what it was, it helped me get thru the final hours of child birth and it even helped me try to fall asleep 😭❤️
this video literally made my life easier. Thank you love
How did your third labour go? :)
The destresser breath was what helped me have an unmedicated labor and delivery. Thanks soooooo much for your video!!!
God bless you 😇
I gave birth last week and on the day I needed help and came across your video. These techniques helped me so much thank you for the video!!
This video helped me SO much I had an unmediated birth as well. Thank you for your videos! ❤
I tried, been practicing a few weeks before, and alhamdulillah; it helps me so much in my second delivery. Tqsm Bridget ❤️❤️❤️
LOVE your videos
