It probably contains C418's four Battle mini-game tracks for the vanilla maps (yes, he did make those four only, but he refused to make more in the timeframe 4J gave him, leading them to get Gareth Coker instead), as well as the underwater songs introduced in Update Aquatic. The two other C418 songs in any version of the game that aren't on Volume Alpha or Beta are Boss, the theme that plays when you fight the Ender Dragon (which was added alongside the Creative, menu, and Nether songs, The End, which plays if the dragon is dead, and Alpha, the credits theme, all of which are in Volume Beta), as well as 11.
While besides the songs added to the game alongside the album's release (plus Boss as mentioned) and the album's bonus tracks, the album also included the music discs added since the release of Volume Alpha (which is all C418 discs except 13 and cat), and at first glance, there's a track titled "Eleven" on the album, which, considering that 13 is called "Thirteen" on Volume Alpha, shouldn't bat an eye. Despite being the same length as disc 11, and starting with the same static for a split-second, it's actually a completely different song, and there have been fan theories that it's supposed to be what the disc sounded like before being broken.
Overall, I think there's a small chance that Boss is on the album, but practically no chance that the actual 11 is.
I don't even mind that other people are working on the OST for this game, I just really wanna hear that third Minecraft album C418 apparently made

Brilliant music all of it. It's extremely nostalgic even without real nostalgia. I'm 43 and I've been playing Minecraft for only 4 years; it's been nostalgic to me the entire time.
The new music is also just as good as the C418 tunes, and I have both of the C418 albums, so I'm a fan.

I think Minecraft isn’t necessarily sad, but it definitely lonely. Sometimes Minecraft songs actually bring a sense of hope rather than gloom
I think the lonely style music goes well with playing solo survival because your character is literally the only one of it's kind. You are alone; despite all the other mobs, they are not like you.
Part of the reason i dont like it. Being alone is only nice when you have to be. Having an option to be with others like you is an amazing feeling.
Id happily enjoy more advanced ai companions in the game to play with.

I know the feeling of what c418 music had on me, and thats why I have been literally studying his minecraft songs and every other song he ever made since Covid. I only play piano and I love creating melodies that are just like C418. I want to not replace him, but imitate his style strongly and give the same musical feeling that C418 had given so many others. I haven't been able to create a full album but I do have a plan... sort of
I want to recreate every different type of minecraft song like one from the nether, the overworld,the music discs, and so on
Progress is slow but patience will help me make something at least decent..

I have high faith in you and your ability to bring a similar style of life into your own music.
Time is progress, and progress is gained skill. I’m in a similar boat because I have aspirations to be a digital artist and it’s a dream I chase now, with hope of being like the artist I am inspired most by. Even taking a break from drawing just to watch this.
You can do anything you set your mind to realistically, and if you keep at it and don’t give up, you’ll remain motivated and want to keep pushing forward.
I wish C418 would release the third album
I like the survival mode music.
But I LOVE the creative mode music, those tracks for one reason or another just hit very different, sometimes to the point of making me zone out for a few minutes.
There’s one old Minecraft song that holds a special place in my heart. My version of the Legacy Console Edition stopped playing any music beyond the opening track for months. Then, one day, a different piano track played in the middle of a play session, and I was so glad to hear music again, that I’ve had a soft spot for that song ever since. It doesn’t play as often due to there being so many more songs in the mix, unfortunately.
The soundtrack we have today is a great statement of how much the game has changed and evolved through the years and the nostalgic soundtrack is a great piece that shows and reminds us of the games past

As someone who played all the way back in 2012/13 in highschool nothing beats or compares to c418. I didn't grow up with all the other and new stuff so yeah my nostalgia resides with basically the birth of Minecraft.
tbf, a huge part of nostalgia is a feeling of sadness that u can't go back and relive those past experiences. Luv the vid. Keep up the great work!

The whole “lonely” thing about early Minecraft was basically just an accident stemming from the fact that it was programmed largely by one dude who wasn’t able to implement a full game’s worth of content. So the early game wound up feeling a bit desolate, and that just happened to be people’s first impression of the game. It was a nice vibe at the time but using that as the framework for the whole game design just winds up being an excuse to limit the game’s potential and holds the game back. And I say this as someone who has been playing since Alpha in a web browser, before compasses were even introduced. Minecraft is a sandbox game and should be absolutely packed with life and content and variety. That said, C418’s music is absolutely sick.

C418 was truly the best man. Only some of the newer songs are a hit I much prefer the older ones. Gareth coker did a fantastic job I think he’s probably most similar to C418 and it would be interesting if he made music for the base game

I still got my Minecraft Xbox 360 edition on TU11 that plays this exact music! I also got the enhanced version of this music with Minecraft Xbox one edition before it got discontinued!
I love it, I put it on to go sleep too, it reminds me when I used to play loads and fall asleep to the game, wake up and carry on playing
I don’t like any of the new music cause it doesn’t have the artists’ soul put into it. It seems more like music for a Minecraft knockoff game. C418’s music is iconic and none of the new music artists can recreate that no matter how they try and I don’t care what you say. I’m a music artist myself, believe me. I’m a professional. No one can capture or recreate the feelings you get from listening to C418’s music. I’m not hating on any of the new artists cause if I was offered the job I would take it as well, however I wouldn’t treat it like a job. Yes sadness can be one of the feelings you get from C418’s music but I think the word you’re looking for is nostalgia. Yes, it is subtly mixed with sadness cause it feels like you’re reminiscing on the good old days, knowing you can’t go back to them. But it also gives you a little happiness because you feel like you might be able recreate those moments or at least create new ones. That’s my take on it. I personally can’t recreate those moments unless I go to older versions of the game but that’s why it’s important to make new ones. Yes I know the more recent updates have been mediocre and some bad but at least you have the memories you’ve made. They’re unforgettable. 😌

I just don't like the new soundtracks for Minecraft, that aren't made by C418. I think they could've done the new soundtracks wayyy better, especially if Microsoft weren't so greedy that they just had to make C418 leave. All for money. As usual.

i loved C418's music so much
I started playing well before minecraft even left the browser. Recenrky decided to go back. Settled on version beta 1.7.3. Maybe I'll spark why reason I enjoyed the game. Maybe every now and then I'll update the world. Maybe I'll just back then up, update and Ioad a new world with the same seed to see how things change
The old music was good and nostalgic. But i think we will look back on the current music in a simliar way

No outro joke, 0/10. The music for the first level of the original Mario Bros. for the first Nintendo does this for me, and it’s very upbeat! But I’m back in the safety of the older boy’s room at my old farm wife babysitter Sue’s house while he was out having to do chores, feeling safe and blocking out the fact I’d eventually have to quit and go home with that sweet, sweet drug of video games the kids are still using today… 🥹 Speaking of, sorry to see you were still up around 2:30 AM this morning; hope you’re okay, funny internet cat man! ❤️
Well I'm Stuck on Version 1.12.2 with Mods and i won't see myself Going to Newer Versions in the Future, might be because it's my Favorite MC Version. C418 is Pure Nostalgic for me.. and Sorry Microsoft but you can't replace C418 when you have someone who Played since Beta Days. 🙃
