Yes, that was brutal. My father worked hard to be and stay in middle class too and he was a single father with three kids. My two younger brothers and I. I'll always respect him for that. Our middle class is different than American though. We weren't spoiled. But we did get all our basic needs met and that was enough. And once in a while, he could afford to give us some luxury. Like I still know how shocked and happy we were to get a Playstation 2. But what's important is that he also taught us the value of money and that you can't just waste it on random things, you need to set priorities etc. I'm glad he raised us like that. I was bullied in school for not having clothes and shoes from a brand among other things, but I simply thought they were silly for making such a big deal about what's essentially just names printed on clothing. I still do to this day.
This is why I'm glad I don't have kids. Don't want them shitting on you in the end when they repeat their commie professors game plan.
I don't think she resents him. She feels guilty and undeserving. That is part of the basis for liberal white guilt IMHO.

“Myself” blinks a million times lol sure
Worked a month during summer job to pay extra food and clothes etc... While parents and state payed for school and she truly thinks she paid for. Those wealthy kids are out of reality always complaining. Money don't solve anything but avoid a lot of stress at the end of the month (or at the half). But they can't realize cause they didn't experienced it and never will.
Shes using a scholarship like she said, so she is not paying for it at all. Shes too dumb to realize that, that does not mean the same as paying for school her damn self. SMH.....
@@atwajesper9434 It's one thing if she earned her scholarship through merit and endeavors but this "scholarship" seems more like a case of government-funded stipends to PhD candidates. She might be getting a PhD in psychology or something similar. She said she was 22 or 23yo which is post-undergraduate education yet she seemed to allude to still being in school.

Nah. Socialism doesn't mean nobody is allowed to have money. It just means to redistribute a part of the wealth from the richest part of society to the poorest part of society. That doesn't mean you are not allowed to be rich and you are not allowed to have a luxury yaht. It just means that you get taxed and with the remaining you can do whatever you want. The problem is however, that the very rich 0.1 % elite that has 99 % of the world's wealth is not taxed so the middle class is taxed into poverty. Then of course you get a society in which everyone is dead ass poor except some small elite.
I completely disagree with Kevin that Sweden is a capitalist country. It isn't. People are taxed and wealth is redistributed. That's socialism. Norway sells oil in the international markets and redistributes that wealth to its population. That's not capitalism.

@@claytondavenport6207 When you talk to me, talk like an adult, not like an idiot. Arguments like "why do they take boats" are shit arguments from people that have no arguments. Why do Americans think that Sweden and Norway are socialist countries because they aren't. They are mixed economies
They only think this because of the welfare like policies those countries have. Free education, healthcare, stuff like that.
Not really, they haven't been for almost 30 years. If you look at their tax rates it's the average worker who pays the Brunt of the taxes to support a massive Class of Losers. Corporate tax rates, Capital Gains rates, and dividend tax rates are all more or less the same or lower than the United States. And they don't even have inheritance tax! So if you work everyday , you're screwed. If you have investment income, it's pretty easy.
I know they have a free market...smh
