    Women being told by liars and panderers that they are all Queens and deserve the best has done far more damage than it has good.

      Yup, it's the OTHER extreme. In the past you had people telling women they are worthless or second class with a generation of women feeling less than, so then an overcorrection of "all women are awesome" has created women with egos that don't fit their accomplishments.

    Back in Africa, our training starts as an infant. The women raising us make sure we get the "wife" skills before leaving home. You even learn to serve guests, organize events, caring for the old, etc. Tiring but good life skills even to survive alone.

      "Wife school". I had to chuckle at that. The feminist would burn the building down at any university that considered teaching such a thing. But all joking aside, many a southern bell went to "charm" or "finishing" school 50 years ago.
      I will be honest, I do think universities need to teach courses on "life skills". I mean in this day and age, how many 20 somethings know how to write a check, service a vehicle, or cook food with more than two ingredients? If you check their kitchen, do they even own cookery beyond a pot or two?

    • @johnwright6706

      @@superdave8248 that is supposed to be the parents job. I don't know if you have kids, but if you did, did you try teaching them those life skills and why they are important? • @superdave8248
      @superdave8248 3 роки тому +7

      @@johnwright6706 Agreed. It should have been the parents' job to do these things. Do I have biological children? No. I have stepchildren and they were both grown adults when I started getting involved with their mother. So I can't speak on what they were taught and what they were not.
      But I see it the disconnect. My wife can cook. But when I hear my stepdaughter talking to her mom, she doesn't make complex meals. They are basic. If she and her SO want a complex meal they eat out. Is that a failure of the mom to teach these types of skills or is it a failure on the daughter to use the skills she was once taught? To be honest I have no idea. I just know from my own experience that once you stop using skills those skills wither like dead leaves on a vine. You might have been able to make the best cake in the world, but if you haven't baked a cake in 10 years odds are the first one you do bake again isn't going to be up to the old standard.
      I'm a product of the public school system of the 1970s and 80s. In middle school everyone had to take half a year of Home Economics. And yes, it covered these very things. High School also had a similar course but I never took it so I have only assumptions on what was taught. But it was primarily targeting towards females.
      If the public education system back then saw a need for such classes and even make one mandatory for all students, I can't help but think in this day and age it is even more necessary than previously.
      When I graduated high school I knew a single person that came from a single parent home. People who divorced simply remarried. The friend in this case her parents had separated while she was in high school. I don't even recall if they finalized the divorce or not. And nobody had a parent who was a widow. But about 10 years ago I was looking through a calendar one of the local school's produced. It had pictures of students and their families. Half the pictures were single family households. Half. And that wasn't even a two generation difference. Going from no single family homes to half.
      When you are dealing with single parent households, when do you have the time to focus on life skills? Between school, homework, and extracurricular activities, there just isn't time in one person's day. And it is even worse if there is more than one child in the house.

When you get married, it's a partnership of what each person brings to the table that they can't on their own or with great cost. It's about reaching life goals and sharing life's changes together because both people know they helped each other get there. I take pride in helping my wife succeed, and she enjoys helping me reach my goals. One way relationships are doomed for failure. Know what you bring to the table and deliver. The worst is also misleading, such as cooking or doing things while you are dating, and stopping it after marriage.

She worked and help put me through school, then I worked and she stayed home and raised our kids. It took a lot of sacrifice (no 6 figures here) but it worked. When the youngest was old enough, she went back to school, got her degree, now she has a good career too. A woman can have it all, but she has to do the marriage/kids part first, then the career part after. A 40 year old woman doesn't have the energy to keep up with toddlers but a woman in her 20s does.

    12:23 Bruh, that’s one of the most profound things I’ve ever heard & it’s so spot on. Women have to basically be in love with you for you to get them “fully” on board, and even that’s not enough in the long run.

    • @R_W_Goodson

      The problem with their definition of “love” is that it depends on how they FEEL at the moment.

    • @commandericeman8588
      @commandericeman8588 3 роки тому +12

      And love is not enough. Because one day they will fall out of love with their husband..... then what?
      Romantic type love in a marriage ebbs and flows, it comes and it goes. Because of this, one cannot build a structure upon it. One cannot make romantic love the edifice or foundation of a marriage.
      But this is exactly what so many modern women do, and this goes a long way to explain why 80% percent of all divorces are initiated by women. This is why so many wives are out here cheating, they're looking for that "love" feeling again.
