can anyone help me, i am considering moving to either eugene or corvallis. i know some of the obvious things like eugene is a bigger city with more to do, but any other advice is appreciated.
Eugene has a big-city vibe, Corvallis much cosier, but still has amenities and OSU. Eugene- more left-wing than Corvallis, but both are left. I grew up in Corvallis. By far the better choice unless you like bigger city.
Diablos restaurant is in downtown Eugene near Interstate-5. One day I drove past there and I think I saw Rex Church walk in. He's the high priest of the Church of Satan. If it wasn't him, it looked exactly like him. Headquarters of the Church of Satan is in downtown Portland.
idk if you moved to corvo but if you're still considering mind this is a college town first. loud students, fireworks, sirens, and a big ass train downtown every night. i love it here but do not think for a second this is a sleepy little town. its alive.

Does anyone know anything about ancient tunnels or rooms under Corvallis? I mean like more than 100 feet down and thousands of years old? I have heard a lot of stories about deep ancient tunnels under nearby Albany and Salem. Some, around 500 feet down.
I don't know how these small business could survive if the pandemic never goes away. No pedestrians, no walk-in business, no transactions almost everyday. Open or closed now seemingly no big difference at all. Only one thing can be sure enough, the triple-net rent will kill you before the pandemic virus kills you! Very very sad to watch these Vlogs....

I've lived in Corvallis my whole life, and can assure you (even if a bit biased), that it's overall much better than eugene in most regards.
The difference between culture and agriculture is about 45 miles.

I am so homesick for Corvallis. I lived there 30 years. If I had it to do over again, I would never leave.
