It's a great place for white upper middle class people who pretend to be kind and liberal, and students, but is a cold, lonely, depressing place for everyone else.

It's a very pretentious town. If you are crunchy upper middle class (think: flying to other countries to go on eco vacations) you may like it. If you are middle class or lower, it's a hard and lonely place to live.

Hey, what is the name of that hike you show a few times along a mountain ridge? I live a bit south-west in Lane County and have never ventured up to Corvallis. I would go for that hike, though. What is it called so I can navigate myself there? It's not Mary's Peak, is it?
There are several different hikes shown. The first hike trail shown is up Dimple Hill, most easily accessed via Chip Ross Park. Bald Hill is shown at 48 seconds. The hike at 1:30 is at Fitton Green Natural Area.

Night life is almost non existent. If you can’t live without it, don’t bother. I grew up in Los Angeles, the heart of LA, and lived in the SFv for a while, but I love it here.
If you like decent food, culture, non-superficial people and diversity you'll hate Corvallis.

Thanks! A few weeks, maybe a month. I was shooting almost every morning and evening. It took a lot of time and planning as you can image.
Yeah it takes a lot of going out to get the lighting right. Good job.

Just stick with it. Planning your shots ahead and picking the right time of day to shoot is important.
