I can say from personal experience that the moment you realize you're going over the bars, and there's nothing you can do to stop it, is one of the worst feelings in mountain biking.

Get a junk bike and do endos down a grassy incline and purposely go otb. It’s pretty easy to learn to jump over/through the bars to land on your feet. Seth from the Berm Peak channel has a video about it I believe. Comes in handy when the bike decides it wants to be upside down 😅

@@bermchasin yeah that’s a bad situation, but I’ve run off an e bike otb (my buddy collided with me and his surfboard rack went in my front spokes) at like 25mph. Even if you can’t run it off, landing feet first is better than using the old “face-brakes” haha
