Another pleasurable watch Mick. Like the last session you seem to have the spot to yourself minus the Wasps, amazed to see the tide out so far, and the lamp at the end of the structure Shure marks that gulley nicely for you. Regards Chris.
Thanks Kevin - it wastes time, but I don't mind moving my gear back as it floods - there are plenty of other venues I fish where that is required. There are places I fish where it comes in much quicker - e.g. parts of the Bristol Channel.
Lovely little video there, with some good fish. This is one of my local marks that can fish brilliantly over low water for the Thornback Rays & is one of my favourite marks, although at times it can get plagued by Dogfish. There’s nothing better than fishing a big low tide & wadding out out to your waist & then casting as far as you can get it, although you must be careful of the soft mud in places.
Hi Mick. I don't know how you keep producing such magnificent videos, but you do and I'm mighty glad! Keep 'em coming. Dymchurch looks an interesting place. Might have to give it a try especially since it doesn't appear to get crowded during the day albeit in summer. You may have guessed I don't like crowds either! Keep safe. Cheers. Ken
Enjoyed the video, i live here and love T23. Good to see a high tide session as i have only done it once, all mine are at low, you was in a good area. This time of year last year i noticed i was picking up more rays on worm baits. I fish over the low then head back to pirate springs or jesson rock groyne at st marys bay, fish 2 up 2 down, had some good sessions there.
Thanks for that and your info. I've looked over Pirate Springs and nearby venues a number of times, but my gut feeling was that I wouldn't catch then, so opted to fish elsewhere - but they are on my to do list. 👍
Good morning Well done on the ray.. iv noticed over the years that Ray's take smaller baits at this time of year .. I guess they take advantage of what's available.. great video, hope your well and in good form... Thank you
Unrelated to your excellent Angling video, i do not think the kid running through the water at 17:27 was supposed to fall over. See how his family come running and their consolation of him.
Great watch again, Mick. When you set up your rods parallel with the shore,do you find it best to point them into the wind or does it depend on any tide run etc?
Thanks again Rob. Good question - as a rule of thumb I do prefer to face in to the wind (assuming its coming at an angle) so the rod tip bends more; but you are correct - many other factors come in to play, not least, the direction and strength of tidal pull and if / when it is likely to change direction. Fishing braid, I prefer it straight from behind, so then the current direction determins which way I face (and where the sun is for filming).
Another really enjoyable and informative video Rod, thank you. Great to see the rigs up close too. As an aside what tripod do you use? It looks stable but also quite easy to handle.

Thanks Chris - yes without the wasps its easier to concentrate on the fishing!
Great video impeccably filmed and informative as usual.
Many thanks!
Great Video Rod keep🎣🎣🎣🐟 them coming
Many thanks Neil.
Once again brilliant yes dymchurch is great to fish. The down side is when start to come in it does very quick

A nice relaxing video, nice surrounds, Cheers.

Many thanks Michael - been catching reasonably well from Chesil recently.
@@rodsangleuk6283 it's a pleasure , glad your finding some fish....look forward to your next video...
Have a pleasant evening..

Yes - his mother was very quick to his rescue.
Another great video, thank you. What is the parking like there?
Thanks Steve. Parking is limited and your best bet is behind the bus stop.

@@rodsangleuk6283 many thanks for that detailed reply. The mackerel have finally arrived at Shoreham, with some nice bass amongst them.
My favourite Kent Mark was that end of Hythe ranges before they ruined it with all the boulders.
Yes, they make access difficult meaning a large stretch is only really fishable over low water and for the redoubt end you need small tides.
Another really enjoyable and informative video Rod, thank you. Great to see the rigs up close too. As an aside what tripod do you use? It looks stable but also quite easy to handle.
Thanks again Bill. The tripod is a Leeda version - it has served me well, but the leg extensions are getting a bit loose from overuse.
