Dymchurch Redoubt/Hythe Ranges Ray Hunt - Sea Fishing UK

Using the left over bait from herne bay hound hunt i headed to Dymchurch Redoubt for an hour either side of the low water. Bait was bluey, black an peeler. Conditions were sunny most of the day with no wind.

Looked a lovely day, yeah a few fish helps after a bad one nice, I fished the other end of the range on bank holiday Monday, 3 rods different rigs and baits, loads of bites on the up, just a few Whiting, some baits stripped, very frustrating, couldn’t have all been crabs, plenty of good sharp pulls 😎🎣

Had some of them pulls too, could be the spider crabs coming in, they are a pain. Hope those whiting thin out soon an be replaced with the summer fish. Wish i took the boat out but had plans later in the day 😭

I fished the other side of that outfall last Saturday night low water. There are a lot of lethal sink holes when wading out so please beware.

Im wary of walking to far that area, i dont know the ground properly. I wont venture out far especially alone. Thanks for the advice. 👍
