Not really, it runs good for a 500 hp car at its weight. The PDK is a killer transmission and the 127 mph trap speed shows it’s making hp.

If there was ever a car that I wouldn’t mess with changing wheel/tire size…. or much less even putting aftermarket wheels on, it would be a 992 GT3 RS 🤦🏻♂️ The handling is so dialed in the way the car comes that to think you’re not going to throw off what the GT Department at Porsche developed is as ridiculous as the way those chrome lipped wheels look on that car

Well that outcome was a given, I like the 3RS but I don't see the 'overs' they go for here in the UK. You could be in a 296 (with a lot of change) or 765 etc for what they go for.

Gt3rs is not made to drag. It doesn't have enough power.
Give me the 3RS anyday. You don't get that car for straight line speed. You get it because of first what it can do on a track and second, but actually most important, THE SOUND. If anyone just wanted just insane straight line speed get a model s plaid for 86k and beat both cars. You get a 3RS for the involvement with the car. A 2RS is very blunt in comparison, even though it's a lot faster.

There's a lot given up with those wheels. Put the magnesium wheels on, and that should help a lot.
why add weight with bigger wheels and tires on a car designed for EVERYTHING but drag racing
Brook was able to jump faster, still impressive for just 550hp and if I understand heavier wheels where you can have Porsche magnesium wheels
I would take the gt3 rs and take it to DeMan motorsports and give it the engine upgrade to 4.5 liter
2018 GT2 RS all day. On many tracks it's just as fast if not faster than the GT3 of any year.
Would be interesting to see how much performance that GT3RS has lost with those chariot sized wheels.
And then paying 400+K for a GT3RS.

This is how it's done. Raw engine sound as it would be heard by the driver. The hissing etc processed by the mic right by the exhaust is not what one would hear in person.

His in car cam has the outside hissing sound overlaid. My point is, if youre going to have a poor representation of the actual outside sound, dont even bother with it!

I have a tecnica too (in blu Eleos) its on my channel if you wanna look at it. I love this car. its really balanced and just the right amount of craziness and supple ride and rear wheel driving system and LVDI is amazing. Can I get a shout out :)
Pays $100k over MSRP for a GT3 RS Weissach pack and proceeds to throw away the lightweight (incredible looking) wheels in favour of some larger, heavier, untested wheels that look like a 16 year old kid picked them. Honestly, there's no helping some people.

The OP is to an extent right Brooks. It does not make a ton of sense to do what this guy did. Granted it's his car and his money, but still. No need to ask for the colour of my GT3RS wheels, because I don't have any. I did however spec CF wheels on my SF90XX, and they will stay CF.

I think the drag race is a stupid childish race. They should test their cars in slalom racing. The roads aren't always straight. So, you better test the cars in curves for stability and speed.
